Kaien blushed as he took the sword happily as he also heard the crowd. He was completely in shock over this... but then when he heard about the tradition he widened his eyes as he saw Chloe run off. "but... I... *groans* guess its the pass the letters routine." he said as he sighed.


Kira and Katsumi came up and patted Kaien on his back. "looks like you got yourself a good one... need up to play the note game." said Kira. Katsumi folded her arms and looked at Sidney and Sterling. He had her eyes on Sterling more then Sidney... vise versa with Kira.

When the next morning came around and Sidney was sparring with Kaien. Sterling sat on the side lines watching the two. As Sidney was sent sliding across the ground on his back. He flipped up to his feet seeing both girls walking up with an obvious letter for Kaien. "Looks like we got a special delivery from your lovely lady Kaien." Said Sidney with a grin.

I have to admit I'm kinda releaved. I was going to write one tonight if I got no responce but looks like I'm going to be writing something else." he said as he walked up to them.


Kira handed it to Kaien. "she sends her regards." she said smiling. she then eyed Sidney as she giggled. "oh I just love thoughs muscles." she whispered.
Katsumi just seeing to stare at Sterling. Giving off a dark but seductive look at him as if saying without words... -I want you and you will be mine.-


"thank you and... Katsumi... little easier on the eyes... you don't want to scare the poor fellow." he said as he nodded to them as he left.

He walked up to Sterling and Sidney as he took out the letter. "seems you 2 have fans... and not just any fans... girls."

"Not interested." Said Sterling flipping a page in his book he was reading.. "Uh no comment." Said Sidney. He then snatched the letter said, "So what's it say huh some mushy love poem or maybe a love letter." He got kicked into the rib by Sterling who handed it back to Kaien.

Kaien took the letter back as he read it. "well you better get interested. They will be our partners on our next mission I'm sure." he said as he sat and began to read it. "Oh and Sidney... think before you talk too... seems to get you pumpled by your brother." he said as he read.

Sidney jumped up onto his feet and glanced over Kaien's shoulder reading the letter which said.

"Kaien it was a real fun time fighting with you. I haven't had a challenge like you in a good long time. But I still don't think I can go a week without seeing you. So tonight at midnight meet me at the front of the shrine in the forest south out of the Sanctuary and make sure you come alone. Hope to see you then - Chloe

Sidney grinned and said, "Nice she's not that bad of a person after all. You got to go Kaien."

Kaien stood there for a moment and took in a deep breath. "yeah I had better go... of course this is going to be very very... awkward." he confessed as he walked off shaking his head. "how did I get myself into this?" he asked himself out loud looking at the sky. "Lupus's spirit must be laughing it up all the way in the stars above." he added.

Later that night he crept out just like a wolf under the fool moon. He made his way to the temple until he was there and looked around. "Chloe... I'm here." he said in a hushed tone still feeling a bit embarassed.

A rustle was heard and a soft thump was heard when Chloe jumped Kaien. He hit the ground on his back. Chloe lay on top of him kissing him. Sitting up she giggled and said, "No need to whisper silly." She hugged him close to her chest for a moment before standing up saying, "I'm glad you came. I couldn't stand not seeing you for a week. We need to get to know each other after all." She pulled him up.

Kaien looked when he heard the rustling then gapsed when she tackled him as he hit the ground with a thud, then was shocked with her kissing him, then he was gasping for air trying to breath when she hugged him so close to her chest, then finally after all was said and done and she helped him up he was completely confused and dazed. "that's a lot for a man to take all at once." he said as he was getting back his barrings.

"I do agree with you with getting to know my future wife... that law kinda makes it an arranged marriage." he confessed. "stressful on both sides." he added.

"Then my suggestion is we meet up here every night for the next seven days." Said Chloe with a smile. She suddenly turned when footsteps were heard and a male came walking up. Quick to act she sent an attack at him ice spikes shooting up. But they all spread out and moved around him as he flexed out a large pair of feathery wings. "Well evening to you too. Is that the best you humans can do and you expect me beat a god like Hades?" Asked the male frowning.

"Who are you?" Asked Chloe. "I have many forms and many names but you can call me Chronos. I just came to ask you two to take your little make out session else where and not in front of my shrine." He said with a loud yawn. "Chronos.... Wait you mean Chronos the messenger of time?" Asked Chloe. "Hm you catch on quick but yeah that's me." Said Chronos. "Why would a god like you be here in our world?" Asked Chloe. "I get bored sometimes." Said Chronos.

Kaien listened as he looked to Chornos after that comment he made of being bored. "you get bored? how does coming here interupting a romantic get together appeal to your bordom?" Kaien asked as he put his arm around Chloe's side. She could tell he was still very nervous because the moment he touched her he was slightly shaking form excitement and also nervousness.

Chronos twitched in anger and suddenly Chloe was jerked away violently from Kaien but it wasn't Chronos who did it. The specter responsible said, "Hey boss I got us a cute one!" "Shut up and hold onto her!" Said the second specter to land. "Chloe was grabbed by her hair and she thrashed and aimed a violent kick at the guy holding her but some wires bound her to the tree.


Chronos on the other hand said, "Fate is such a cruel thing. I'm sorry to say this is a battle you must fight on your own." He then vanished into the shadows. "K-Kaien run!" Cried Chloe and she let out a loud scream as she was violently shocked by the wires binding her. "Okay that's enough Zenos." Said the other specter as he walked forward.

Kaien widened his eyes as he saw what just happened. "Chloe!" he yelled as he gritted his teeth. "Let her go." he said to the spectors as he flared his Cosmo. He saw that there were 3 of them... but one was keeping her bound as he slowly looked at what the wires were holding her as he was devising a plan to free her because he knew taking one out could be possible.. but 3... was going to be a little difficult.

He got in his stance glaring at them but also studying them to know what they could possibly be capable of. ~my lunar flash can cut those wires... but I need to be precise...~ he thought.

The wires suddenly fell slack and Chloe fell into Sterling's arms. "Brother now!" Yelled Sterling and something landed in the ground between them all. A pop went off and a smoke screen billowed up. Sterling was already running away with Chloe and Sidney grabbed Kaien dragging him along. Once they reached the gates of the Sanctuary. Chloe was set down gently and Sidney said, "Man that was close."

Kaien was happy once they were okay but then once they caught their breath and were safe he glared at the twins. "you were spying on me." he said folding his arms. "Just had to see Kaien with Chloe huh... to tell the other saints everything you saw huh?" he said a bit stern.

"I should still thank you... if you didn't show up Chloe and I would probably be catpured or worse." he confessed as he went to Chloe and wraped his arms around her.
