All was quiet within the Sanctuary as the early morning sun was seen rising over the hill side. As the shadows turned to light. Footsteps were heard sneaking around as Sidney was sneaking about with his spear in hand. He had a big grin on his face as he got over to the ponds. Spearing a couple fish he laughed saying, "Oh yeah I'm gonna fry these puppies up in butter."

"Hey you what are you doing! Those aren't for eating!" Said a man who caught him. "Oh crap busted!" Cried Sidney running off at a fast speed with the spear over his shoulder. "Hey get back here!" Yelled the saint chasing him down. Sidney ran faster and came to a flight of stairs. Someone appeared in his path and before he could stop he tripped and collided with the male. The two of them falling down the long flight of stairs landing on top of each other with with a thud, "Ow... ow..." Said Sidney sitting up and he paled seeing he had taken a silver saint down with him. "Oh crap." He cried skidding back on his ass still totally freaked out.

The Silver Saint Lupus his name Kaien laid there as he looked up at the sky. "ouch... I don't remember there being a person running out at this time during the day." he said almost in a meloncolly way. He got up and looked at Sidney as he blinked. "hello." he said as he got up and picked up his spear seeing the fish. "I take it this is yours?" he asked as she saw one of the saints run down the stairs. "Hey there." he waved.

"Don't wave him over run you fool!" Cried Sidney grabbing Kaien's hand and running off the two of them vanished before the saint could get to him. Heaving out of breath he said, "Man that was close." He grinned and looked at the fish satisfied. "You think you're safe do you?" Said a calm voice and Sidney froze and slowly turned around seeing his teacher standing there.

"Come with me." Said Shion dragging him off gently by the wrist. After getting a lecture about respecting the life on the land of the Sanctuary. Sidney was punished by having to clean the inner area of Athena's temple. Sitting there on his hands and knees he just scrubbed and footsteps were heard as a group of the other bronze saints were walking down the halls from some meeting or something. "Hey watch out don't tread on the wet areas. I just cleaned them." Said Sidney to them.

They just looked at him funny and went on not even respecting the fact that he just said that. "Can you believe that guy. Hard to believe someone like him became a bronze saint. He's a shame to us all." Said one of the guys in the group. "Yeah people like him will never learn." Said Another. Sidney's head lowered and when they left he threw the scrub brush he was using out of anger and it clattered against the wall. Hot tears ran down his face and he just went to grab the brush and lug the dirty bucket of water to dump it out.

Kaien looked from above seeing what had happened as he felt sorry for the guy and went to talk to the other bronze saints. He even asked them if they all were respecting their common brothers and they said yes as he narrowed his eyes. "All of them?!" he said.

The looked and froze as they nodded. "ALL OF THEM?!" He said as he pointed to Sidney as they gasped. ~shit... he heard us.~ Kaien got real close to them. "clean it up... now." he said calmly but those eyes of his scared the living hell out of them as they ran, got water, towels, and washed the area. Kaien smiled and walked by Sidney as he gave him a smile and walked back to his rounds.

That moment Sidney's brother Sterling went walking by Kaien. Since they were new to the Sanctuary a lot of people often thought they were seeing things when they dealt with Sidney and saw his twin brother moments after. Sterling walked over and reached into his shoulder bag and pulled out some fruit tossing it it at his brother. Seeing six apples coming his way Sidney was quick to catch all of them.

Except the last one went bouncing off his head. "Bro... you're a hassle you know that. Times are tough for us still. I mean we were starving when we were taken off the streets but that doesn't make stealing right. You're lucky Master Shion went easy on you." Said Sterling as the two walked side by side. "I know but I'm not like you. Everyone hates me. You're lucky you got friends and I'm always alone." Said Sidney with a sigh.

Kaien blinked when he saw Sterling. He stopped and looked carefully as he thought. ~Either I'm seeing double... or that guy has a twin.~ he said as he looked on but then walked away. He headed back to Cancer's Temple.


Manigoldo of Cancer was rubbing his head as he saw Lupus come in. "Kaien... why why why? why are you so carefree with the lower saints... your a silver saint for goodness sake." he said. "You should be eager to fight not eager to please." he said.


Kian shurgged. "what's the big deal... their saints... aren't we all the same... aren't we all humen... I don't get why I have to act differently." he said as he sat down.


Manigoldo shook his head and smiled. "You never change."

The two brothers had gone off to the training grounds after Sidney had eaten. Facing off against two people. Who happened to be the ones to talk Sidney down earlier back at the temple. they were getting ready for a good fight. "So brother these are the two that called you trash?" Asked Sterling. "Yup and I owe their faces some bruises." Said Sidney. "Let's show them how a true saint fights then." Said Sterling. Their opponents just looked at each other and both nodded.

After that the fight begin. Both twins ran in fast. Their strides every movement they made was exactly mirrored as they came in fast at their opponents. Both were practically working as one. A huge explosion rocked the training area that moment and the fight had ended just like that as their opponents were blasted away. Both boys landed on the ground and Sidney and Sterling both gave each other a high five victorious in their spar.

Kiaen was on watching on the Pillars as he looked down seeing the fight. He couldn't help but smile. ~twins indeed...~ he thought as he looked on. He then went to the temple and asked that the next mission would be with the twins. "Yes I wish to go with the Canis twins... is there a problem?" he asked.

All the saints were in shock... even his own silver saints. once again this man prefered to be with the bonze and less with gold and silver... Manigoldo just laughed and clapped he didn't care he knew Kaien was his own man and wouldn't listen to him.

"I see you've taken an interest in my students. Then I suppose I can give you the assignment I was deciding on taking or not and stay here in case I'm needed. "Take the boys and I need you to go south to Cairo. Rumors say Hades might be around there due to the amount of specters terrorizing the area. Go there destroy any enemies you come across and report to us if you see anything not natural." Said Shion with a smile.

Kaien nodded as he walked off. He went to find the 2 as he walked by most of the silver saints and also some of the women on masks... strangely he choose to be lower rank then them and to some they thought he was a joke to be considered a silver saint to begin with.

He met up with them as he waved his hand. "Hey there... got a mission that we will be going on... You guys ready to head to Cairo?" he said smiling to them.

Both brothers looked at each other and then at him nodding. Once they had packed their supplies they had headed out. They'd mostly be traveling on foot and Sidney sighed not looking forward to this long trip. Looking at his twin and at Kaien he said, "Why you and not Master Shion though?" "Orders are orders brother let's just try and make it safely." Said Sterling as they walked.

That and I personally asked for this mission. You see... I haven't gotten to know all of the saints. Well on a personal level and I just want to get to know everyone before the war starts... it is going to happen, sooner rather then later I'm told." he said to them as he continued.

After getting on a boat and then was kindly offered a ride to their location wearing cloaks now to keep the sand and sun off of them they continued to follow the river. "Be on guard... we'll be getting close to Cairo by following the river." he said to them.

Sidney just sat slumped over the side of the boat. He was notorious for getting sea sick even on a river. He had just finished throwing up for the tenth time when suddenly he landed on his ass with a yell as a large alligator came snapping up at him. They had hit land that moment and and Sidney cried, "I'm outta here!!!"

He jumped off the boat and speed across the sand going in land as far as he could just to get away from that damn alligator. Sterling rolled his eyes and walked off the boat saying, "Sorry Kaien my brother has a thing for getting in trouble."

Hearing a loud yell he walked back up through the brush and saw Sidney laying there face first in the sand a camel walking away looking agitated. Sitting up Sidney spit out a mouthful of sand including a beetle. "Eww gross!" He whined standing up and grabbing his water to rinse his mouth out.

I just feel sorry for him. does he have like a bad luck omen around him?" he asked walking up as he got him another canister of water.

"I have a feeling you'll need it more then me. I'm used to it... but I still don't like being out here." he confessed as he smiled to him.

As he walked close to the river Kaien at times looked around and smelled the air. Sometimes it was just to take in the fresh air... but at times he sensed danger then it would pass.

As they got closer Kaien stopped them as he looked back to them. "lets make camp here and travel by night... we're close... very close."

Sidney just collapsed right on the sand feeling overly warm. Once they had put up their tent they just sat around waiting for night to come. Soon the sun had set and they had ventured into the town. Sidney just looked around seeing doors around them snap shut as the people caught a glimpse of them.

He heard crying as a woman was hurrying by them pulling her child along. "Excuse me ma'am." Said Sidney but she just brushed him off and hurried away. Sidney sighed saying, "I never seen such a depressing town. These people are really not friendly at all." "There's more then likely specters here then. And the people probably fear if they talk they'll get slaughtered for defying them." Said Sterling with a soft.

Sidney suddenly jumped hearing the cry of a woman. "Please stop not my son" She cried as a young boy in his teens was being dragged away by a specter. "Shut up you old hag and get lost! We warned you people if you want to live you do as we say! We don't take snitching lightly!" Said another shoving her back. Sindey suddenly snapped and ran over kicking both specters in their faces and grabbed the boy pushing him toward his mother saying, "Run get out of here you two and don't look back!"

"Huh who are you kid!" Said one of the two as he picked himself up. "You scum bags won't get away with this! Cause I'm going to kick your sorry asses!" Yelled Sidney. He suddenly found himself grabbed by none other then Sterling, "You fool you're not supposed to draw attention to us! Just run!" Said Sterling as they sprinted around the corner fast. The moment both specters ran around after them they both were sent flying as both twins aimed a kick nailing both men in their stomach.
