Both twins gave a nervous laugh and Sidney said, "Sorry but who was that freak with the wings Kaien?" "An actual deity brother. Chronos is the messenger of time and anyone who interferes with time is a bad thing. Do that then you deal with him." Said Sterling. "Dude seriously lay off the books. I can't believe I'm related to a walking dictionary." Said Sidney.

Kaien looked at them both and said. "I'm happy you are. at least this gives us some insight... seems like the spectors are trying to mess with time... something we can use and let Athena and the Pope know." he said as he stroked Chloe's hair now.

"well we'll tell them in the morning as for you 2 head back now... I'll be there shortly..." he hinted saying he wanted some alone time with Chloe now.

Both guys nodded and walked off. "Kaien..." Said Chloe with a smile as she snuggled him kissing him softly. The night had passed and Chloe had left to get some sleep around the early morning hours. When the sun had rose Sidney was walking with Sterling who had his nose buried in a book he had gotten from the Sanctuary's library. "Interesting according to this book Chronos can take on many forms and as different creatures." "And why would you be reading about something like that?" Asked A voice behind the twins making them freeze.

Shion stood there as the twins turned. "Well we were at this shrine last night and we uh uh..." Said Sidney. "Both you come with me now. And was there anyone else with you two?" "Yes sir... Kaien and Chloe but please can we at least explain ourselves." Said Sterling. "Yes in front of the pope that is." Said Shion. Sidney and Sterling sighed following after him. Shion had sent word for someone to tell Chloe and Kaien to report to the main temple. Sidney and Sterling stood there waiting. Sterling mostly with his nose in the book until Shion snatched it away.

The doors opened and Chloe came in and walked up wondering what the trouble was. "We got busted I'm sorry Chloe...." Said Sidney with a sigh. "No worries its a good thing you two were there otherwise I'd have been killed." Said Chloe. "Now all we need is Kaien and we can get to the bottom of this." Said Shion.

Iroonicly it wasn't Kian walking up... it was Manigoldo coming up carrying Kaien that was fast asleep still. "apparently this guy was up last night and when he sleeps he sleeps deep... only way to wake him up is.." he threw him into the pond as he counted. "1, 2, 3..." he looked.


Kaien came out gasping for air and coughing also. "damn it I hate it when you do that master." he said as he came out shaking off all the water on him like a wolf would do. "what was... that... for....?" he asked as he saw everyone there as he sulked. "who blabed?" he asked.

Both Sidney and Sterling pointed at each other saying, "It was him!" "I don't care who did it the point is that area is off limits due to the Shrine there being sacred. You broke two rules. One the formal tradition and two trespassing on scared land. I'll decide on your punishment after I heard your reason." Said the Pope firmly.

"First off sir it was my fault I sent a letter to Kaien telling him to meet me there. I really wanted to get to know him better before we married. I had no idea that area was off limits so needless to say if you're going to punish someone let it be me." Said Chloe her head lowering. "Top it off both Kaien and Chloe were jumped by some specters but you won't believe who we saw before that. We saw Chronos." Said Sidney.

"You're saying you saw the messenger of time himself? That's impossible he doesn't let anyone see him at all from what I've heard." Said Shion. "That's true to a certain point master. But according that old book I was reading if someone indeed is messing with time he will show himself. Chances are the specters are doing it some how." Said Sterling.

"He speaks he truth. I can see none of these saints are lying. But if what Sterling says is true then we need to be prepared for more then the same battle we've always fought." Said Athena. "Very well you four are free to go. Chances are since Chronos has shown up he might be watching over us even now. He might appear to either of you again. Be careful now that he's involved things might be more serious. Chloe Kaien I'll lift the tradition so you two can see each other before the wedding." Said the pope.

Thank you, your grace." he said as he walked off with Chloe and the others.

Kaien watched over his temple gate with Cancer Manigoldo as he thought. "he showed himself to me and Chloe. I wonder... if the spectors are trying to get into his temple to mess with time and not only that but see when and where... that would be serious... but who would.............." he then stood up. "I only know of one person that desperate... Hades right arm. PANDORA!" he said narrowing his eyes and tightening his fist.

Shion came walking down the steps and said, "Come you four I've been given orders to guard the shrine with you all since he showed himself to you all. Also we're bringing two others with us. The girls said they'd meet us at the start of the forest. So go pack up we're moving out.

Twenty minutes later they were walking back to the shrine with everything they needed. "I never had a mission so close to the Sanctuary before." Said Sidney. He looked at Sterling who had his nose buried in that book on Chronos again. "Nerd...." Muttered Sidney and Sterling just ignored him.

"Sir Shion I take it the wedding has been postponed due to this matter?" Asked Chloe. "Sadly so." Said Shion. "It's for the best. I would like to get to know Kaien better anyways." Said Chloe snuggling up against Kaien's arm.

Kaien blushed as he saw Chloe get close to him again also he gave a scared laugh. "good to know huh." he said as he walked.


Kira and Katsumi were in the back and constatly stared at Sidney and Sterling. Kira always looking at Sidney with a cheerful smile but also bashful at the same time and Katsumi almost overtop of Sterling as if she was reading his book too to give him the presense that she was watching him.

Sterling snapped the book shut nearly closing it on her nose purposely to show he wasn't pleased she was hounding him. Seeing the shrine come into view everyone dropped their bags and other things. Shion walked over and looked at it. "So this is the shrine right?" He asked.

"Yeah me and Sidney were in that bush over there when Chronos showed himself. And then both Kaien and Chloe got attacked." Said Sterling. "What did Chronos show himself to you as?" Asked Shion as they went to work to put their tents up, . "A young man he was about six feet tall had black hair gold eyes and white wings that sure blew away Chloe's attack like nothing." Said Sidney.

"You attacked him?" Asked Shion shocked. "I didn't mean to. I thought he was a specter at first." Said Chloe softly with a sigh. Once they were done four tents had been set up. "Now we just play it safe?" Asked Sterling. "Yes I have to say it'll be boring for you kids. But this is all we can do." Said Shion.

A rustle was suddenly heard and everyone was on guard instantly. Looking up in the tree Sidney said, "I don't believe it's him!" Shion looked up as Chronos jumped off the branch and floated down onto his feet saying, "You saints catch on quick. Consider this an honor to see me once again humans. I take it you figured out why I've showed myself. Hades followers have gone too far as you think."

"So who is it. Hades himself or perhaps someone under his call?" Asked Shion nearly trying not to faint. "You aren't allowed to know. One detail is all it takes to bring a new outcome and mess up the set future." Said Chronos. Another rustle was heard and everyone turned ready to attack but saw Athena herself stumble through. "Lady Athena?" Said Shion shocked as she walked up to Chronos.

"So we meet again Chronos. How long has it been? I believe before Hades actually stopped coming to earth as himself was the last time we met." "Just because you're Athena don't think I'll say anything...." Said Chronos. "I don't expect you to. We've come to help though. Anything that messes up time isn't a good thing for our world." Said Athena.

"So you plan on fighting blind?" Asked Chronos. Athena smiled and said, "Yes as always we don't know the outcome and base our plans how Hades makes his moves. That's how we will be one step ahead of him. We've already decided what we plan to do."

"Lady Athena... may I have a moment to speak?" he said as he looked at Chronos. "You don't have to say anything to me Chronos just look at me when I ask you this... Is the one that is trying to mess with time... PANDORA?!" he asked narrowing his eyes.


The two girls looked at Lupus in shock as he saw that look in his eyes... mentioning that name... was serious for someone like him.. and this is when even he looked scary.

Chronos just turned and vanished just like that not even taking his eyes off Athena. "Nice going dude you chased him away." Said Sidney. "It's alright Kaien. Things will turn out okay you'll see. We'll get to the bottom of this figuring things out on own. Chronos can't tell us directly but if we find out on our own there's not much he can do either about that." Said Athena.

Sterling was back to reading his book and things were quiet after that. "Lady Athena things might get dangerous why did you come here?" Asked Shion. "No worry I will be fine. I can't just sit around all day when there's ways I can possibly help." She laughed as Sterling was chasing Sidney around a tree after his brother took the book right out of his hands. "Give it back brother!" Yelled Sidney angry. "No I'm bored damn it! Let's go do something!" Whined Sidney. He suddenly tripped the book went flying and Shion caught it saying, "Knock it off you two! You're in the presence of Lady Athena! Show some decency!"

Sidney sat up and grinned as he saw Athena laughing. Sterling sighed and smiled saying, "I'm sure it's been ages since you been able to laugh and smile to freely huh Athena?" She smiled and said, "It's alright you two be yourselves. Don't let the looming war change who you really are." "SASHA!!" Screamed a loud voice and they saw someone running down the hill toward the shrine.

Tenma was running so fast he couldn't stop and he tripped over Sidney's leg and landed face first into a bush with a loud crunch. Jumping fast up he said, "I'm okay." A sudden trickle of blood ran down from his nose though and everyone were all just gaping at him. "Whose this idiot bronze saint?" Asked Sidney.

Kaien was just siting down watching all that was happening. he then heard what Sidney said as he started rubbing his eyes as if he was in pain. "and this is why he's not the smart one..." he huffed to himself. "That's pegasus Sidney... Athena's private body guard so to say." he stated shaking his head.

He still looked to the sky as he narrowed his eyes. ~PANDORA!~ he thought as he remembered the past... the peaceful past before... everything changed.

Sidney blinked. He then suddenly started laughing loudly as he said, "Him Athena's guardian! Please the guy can't even stand on his own two feet!" He laughed even harder until Tenma punched his fist right into his face making him fall back with a bloody nose. He sat up and said, "Why you I'm going to kill you!" He got thwacked upside the head by his twin and Shion said, "That's it we're calling it a night! Everyone to bed now!"

Tenma laughed and jumped up onto the tree branch resting himself on it going to sleep. Sidney meanwhile entered his tent with his brother and was beating his pillow fluffing it infuriated Tenma did that. After a while things were quiet when Shion had offered Athena his tent and leaned back against the tree Tenma was laying up in. And he went to sleep.

Kaien was under the moonlight near his tent as he seemed to sleep and meditate at the same time... chloe was on his lap sleeping also as he stayed silent.


the 2 girls snuck out of their tents ever so quietly like bears do to hide in their enviornment... and made their way into Sidney and Sterling's tent. Kira just snuggled up against Sidney liking his warmth... but Katsumi was a more agressive... she got into his sheets and was ontop of him waiting for him to wake up... the moment he did she smiled to him and said. "now your mine."


Kaien slowly woke up as he held his ears shut and put some ear plugs in Chloe's as he waited for the screams to happen.

The screams came loud and clear. Sidney and Sterling came running out of their tent. Shion jumped up hearing the screams and Tenma landed saying, "A specter?" "No them!" Yelled Sterling putting on his glasses pointing as the girls came out of their tent. Athena came out and Shion said, "We're on a mission! This isn't the time to be screwing around! You four take the tents down and lay them out! You're sleeping out in the open so I can keep an eye on you all!"

"Thanks a lot..." Said Sidney. "If I get covered with bug bites someones going to pay!" Said Sterling as they came dragging their stuff out of the tent. After all was settled and done Shion lit a fire. The boys were back asleep and the girls as well. This time apart from each other. Chloe was snuggled close to Kaien asleep. Athena sat down next to Shion and said, "I can see you got your hands full.
