Pandora was struck and she went crashing into a tree. Before she staggered forward her eyes wide in shock. She then vanished in a wisp of smoke. The others had picked themselves up. "We're going back now you guys." Said Chloe firmly. "But why?" Asked Sidney confused. "One I feel sick two our plans are shot. She's going to warn Hades of us coming. Our efforts were wasted." Said Chloe turning around and heading back to the direction of the sanctuary.

Tenma grumbled and walked after her. Terra meanwhile was picking herself holding her stomach wound. Focusing her cosmo she managed to close to wound and reduce it slightly. "I guess it's not my time to die after all. I'm sorry knew it was too good to be true yet I led you guys out this far anyways. And we all got torn up." Said Dynatos with a sigh.

"Nah don't blame yourself. Stuff happens what can you do?" Said Sidney as he started walking back. Sterling followed. Dynatos looked at Terra and she said, "Get lost I can walk myself.... She missed the vitals at least.

Kaien huffed as he helped the 2 girls that were nearly ripped apart by the battle as they leaned against him. Kira and Katsumi were terribly wounded as Kaien carried them on his back. "This is far from over... I will have to face her again." he said out loud making sure everyone was keeping up.

Sidney suddenly saw Chloe keel over a bush that moment and throw up into it Running up fast he said, "Are you alright. Did you get that thrashed up?" "I don't know but I should be fine." Said Chloe after she finished getting sick into the bush. Both Sidney and Stering helped Chloe move along. Once they got back to the sanctuary Chloe went off to lay down and the boys decided to report back to Athena.

As they entered her temple Athena stood there waiting. Both boys came up Sidney saying, "We're sorry it didn't go too well. Our plans were pretty much shot thanks to Pandora Lady Athena. Nobody died though and we have a new silver and gold saint." "I know I sensed the cancer armor had left the safety of the temple. I'm glad you all made it back alive. Please rest up for now." Said Athena with a smile. Both boys nodded and stood up leaving.

Meanwhile Chloe just lay in her bed knowing very well why she was sick. She was happy but also worried at the same time. The fact that she wouldn't be able to fight when she as needed on the front lines scared her. She sighed softly and just tried to go to sleep.

Kaien went back to the temple sitting inside as he now had a new responsiblity. He closed his eyes meditating as he was getting acustomed to his powers knowing that he was no longer Lupus... he was now the New Cancer. The new gold saint of the fox fire power.

"I fear something else may happen before hand. I must be ready." he said to himself as he concentrated.

Chloe who was unable to sleep just came walking in and sat down next to Kaien leaning on him her head resting on his shoulder. Her eyes closed and she had a smile on her face. Footsteps were heard and Tenma, Sidney, and Sterling came walking up into the temple. "Hey Kaien hey Chloe. It's time to celebrate our new gold saint. We brought goodies." Said Sidney with a grin as he held up a bag.

Chloe seemed to jump up that moment and run off disappearing. The boys just looked at each other and when Chloe returned a few moments later she forced a smile despite the fact she just threw up and said, "What did you bring to eat?" "Uhh you sure you can keep any food down Chloe?" Asked Tenma worried. Chloe sighed and said, "Maybe not...."

Kaien just looked at Chloe a bit concerned as he tilted his head. "okay... you've been acting weird for a while now Dear. What is going on?" he asked her as he looked to the others. He waved them to come closer as he looked inside and grabbed someting to eat.

Chloe smiled and snuggled Kaien and said "You can't obviously be that dense Kaien." She then pulled away and said, "Fine seeing as you are. I may as well tell you. The reason why I'm so sick is because I'm going to have a baby." Everyone who was happily chattering with each other suddenly cut off and then there was dead silence as they all gaped at Chloe.

Kaien looked at her nto knowing what she was talking about because he was practically raised in the Santuary. However once she spilled the beans about her going to have a baby... he looked at her in shock... his eyes wide, his mouth unable to say anything then finally to break the silence he blinked. "WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTT???!!!" he yelled so loud that the sanctuary heard the echo and all the birds flew away in fear. "your going to have a baby? Why didn't you tell me...?" he asked dumbfounded.

"Kaien I just found out for one and two I'd rather not go into anymore details with three young boys with us." Said Chloe with a sigh. "Oi we're not kids you know." Said Tenma. "I hate to say this but I agree with Tenma but it's not any of our business so you can leave out the details." Said Sidney.

Hearing foot steps everyone turned Shion appeared and said, "I thought that was you Kaien. I was all the way in the training grounds watching everyone when I heard you yell. Everything alright?" Asked Shion. "Whoa man you're still alive. And yeah everything's fine. Kaien just freaked because he found out Chloe is having a baby." Said Tenma.

"It's a lot to take in Tenma. So of course he freaked." Said Sterling. "Is this true?" Asked Shion who looked at Chloe. Chloe nodded and a voice spoke up saying, "You are then excluded from being in the front lines. And will be remaining here in the Sanctuary till the baby is born." Athena had come in also hearing Kaien yell and had been the one to say that.

Chloe groaned and said, "I knew you were going to say that." 'Well it is logical what do you want to be the baby in danger?" Asked Sidney. "No of course not. I just wish they had replacements for time like this. Now whose going to oversee the training of these three and the girls?" Said Chloe. "I can try and cover. Is there any specific way of how you train them?" Asked Dynatos appearing.

"Let's see slave labor and constant beatings being run into the ground as well." Said Sidney and Chloe smacked him upside the head saying, "Says the one whose at the bottom of the improvement list! I been keeping track and you're slacking way too far behind! Now would you like to disgrace yourself any further?"

"How the hell am I behind! I've done everything you told me! What am I going to have to move a mountain next!" Yelled Sidney pissed. He then just turn and ran off after that and disappeared. Chloe sighed and said, "He's only behind because he's lazy and whined on everything I told him him to do."

Kaien was rubbing his eyes taking in all of this info into account as he sighed. "got married... became a gold saint... now going to be a father in the worst of cases because the whole world is at stake. Not to mention Chloe is off the front lines... that also means you should be close to Athena... personal bodyguard as a last resort." he suggested to the others. "As for me... I guess I better train with Shion to get a handle of this armor. to lose my lupus to gain this armor... its a little overwhelming." he confessed.

Athena just shook her head and said, "I have to decline that offer. I can't sit around any longer Kaien. If they do reach me they won't get to touch me probably but if I must I will fight to prevent anymore deaths. And besides Tenma will come rushing to my aid if anything." "History or not Tenma should be a silver saint by now don't you think?" Asked Chloe.

"It matters not even as a bronze he's the only one who can hurt Hades directly. But you all don't have to worry about me. I can't stand seeing anymore people dying for my sake while I hide in the safety of this place. It's time I've done something about this." Said Athena.

Sterling snatched the snack bag away from Tenma and smiled saying, "Perhaps you should lay off the sweets and start working on your training more. Or do you want to be a bronze rookie forever?" "Oh shut it! You're one too!" Said Tenma.

"I got a deal for you." Said Dynatos suddenly. Oh and what would that be?" Asked Tenma. Dynatos pointed outside toward a mountain and said, "See that mountain there? If you can run there and return here by sunrise tomorrow. I'll exclude you from the training I'll be giving you bronze saints for three weeks." Said Dynatos.

"Oh please that's too easy! Not that I want to skip training but I'm going to do it to show you how simple it is See you guys tomorrow!" Said Tenma running down the steps disappearing. "Now why the hell would you do that? Now Athena has no protection for sure." Said Chloe. "I can sense the cosmo of about hundred or more specters in those woods. They're semi weak but have been lurking there waiting for orders. I know how Hades works. It won't be easy. He's going to to be worn down. By doing this he'll probably get a better control of his cosmo from using it all night long. There's a power you can only obtain by pushing past your limits. I forbid anyone to help him by the way." Said Dynatos.

He then looked at Sterling and said, "I expect you and your twin down in the training grounds at midnight. Best get some sleep. Oh and no snacking before hand." He then went down the steps and disappeared.

So what's our next move then?" Kaien asked as he folded his arms and sat down closing his eyes.

he was trying to keep a cool head of things but he was also thinking on what was going to happen especially with Pandora.

"I know I shouldn't be asking you all of this. But I have one more important mission for you all. Chloe this will be the last thing you do. After this you will remain here in the safety of the sanctuary till the baby is born. I need you all to go to the shrine of Chronos. We are losing this battle and we need to find a way to make him tell us what Hades is up too. I'm sure you guys can come up with something. I beg of you all you must find out whatever you can of what Hades plans are." Said Athena. "Understood Sterling go get Sidney. We'll met up at the gates in ten minutes. I need to discuss something alone with Athena. So please go with him Kaien." Said Chloe.

very well... sounds like a plan to me." he said as he left as he also called his twins that were now his responsiblilty. Kira and Katsumi were now fully healed and also fully ready and not going to get hurt anymore.

Kaien then just waited patiently as he was sitting on a rock as the twins were standing and leaning on a boulder next to Kaien as they too waited. Kaien has his eyes closed as he was concentrating his cosmo as a way to keep it under control.
