Amelia frowned "if he's trying to escape now he probably sabotaged the boat some other way"she says looking at Sebastian, not questioning how he knew since he could have a network of people for all she knew

Sebastian frowned at that statement. "Check the ship." He ordered her as he turned, his jacket swirling around his legs and he took off towards the man. He did his best to move at a normal speed until he was out of sight, before all to soon he was moving quicker then a normal human to catch the man. The next thing heard was a yell of surprise and fear as Sebastian grabbed the man by the front of his jacket and hoisted him up easily. "You have five seconds to explain before I bleed you dry." He growled, his eyes seeming to glow an eerie red color. As he snapped at the man, in the distance a ship could be seen lurking towards them.
"The nightmare.....She's back." Came the whispers of a few who saw just the side of a ship in the glow of the barely there moon.

Amelia was about to check the ship when she heard the words and looked out at the water and frowned "ghost ships don't exist" she snapped at the men "get to battle stations" she ran in the direction the captain with "captain!" She yelled stopping as she got to him "there's a strange ship off the port stern" she said, looking at him for instruction add to whether they needed to open fire since friendly ships were usual lit and spotted far before they got this close

Sebastian looked out towards the ship. A few choice words came to mind and a few more slipped from his lips as he drug the man by the leg back towards the others. "Get ready. That ain't the Nightmare. That's just a fool who wants to meet a watery grave. You heard your orders, get to it." He snapped as he picked the man up where he was hanging upside down and very unceremoniously dropped him in front of Amelia. "Tie that fool up till I can deal with him."

"rouse the rest of the men!" She yelled "hop to it" she looked at the man and the captain, not having the time to question the extreme amount of strength. She grabbed the guy and dragged him to the mast fastening him there and smiling "the usually aim for the may first, so let's hope you're still alive for the captain when this is over" she says ominously before moving to help with the preparations and battle

Sebastian moved to the wheel of the ship. "Samuel...get below. They are going to need you with moving ammo." He told him. "Hold." He said, as he watched the other ship raise a white flag. He frowned slightly, narrowing his eyes slightly. "I don't trust it."

Amelia came up beside him and looked out "shall I take a boat and parlay?" She asked, figuring it was better to send her then endanger the captain

Sebastian shook his head no. "All of my crew are of value." He stated. "Just make sure everyone is ready. If they are honest they will move on. If not we will be ready." He told her. "I have no qualms with them and we have no reason to fight unless they choose to." Sebastian stayed silent, waiting to see what the other ship would do. As it were, they ended up moving on, deciding that it wasn't worth the fight, either that or something spooked them enough to move on, which wasn't entirely false.

Amelia watched them leave, a frown crossing her lips "Not that I'm displeased at them leaving, but that seemed strange. Why would they sneak up on us if they did not intend to attack?" This concerned her greatly. Had they reacted so fast that the other ship had not anticipated it. Would they follow and try an attack again when they were less ready? She looked at Sebastian awaiting his input "I suggest we get the look out to keep an especially wary eye tonight" she said, glancing up a the crows nest "The moon is slight, it's hard to see. Might be worth sending a second man up. I could go up myself even"

Sebastian nodded once towards Amelia. "It would be best to have two men. But you should get some rest. I'll keep watch. You have been up all day." He stated, glancing towards her briefly then over towards the others. Back to duties and off time." He called out to those that were standing around waiting for orders. He then looked towards Amelia. "It is odd that they would turn so soon, but for now we just wait. I am not one to attack without reason."

"of course" Amelia agreed "if sailors don't respect the white flag then we're all doomed" she nodded her head to him simply "your prisoner is fastened to the mast" she informed him, before taking her leave, her hands shaking a little but she tried to hide it. She had not been frightened by this near battle or anything like that, but rather the excitement and adrenaline was pumping through her. She would not fall asleep right away, but rather spent a few hours simply trying to get herself calm enough to sleep safely

While Amelia went below deck Sebastian dealt with their traitor. A few gurgled cries later and Sebastian was tossing a carcass overboard. He reached up and wiped a drop of red liquid from the corner of his mouth before spitting into the ocean and moving over to take the wheel from Samuel. "Samuel...you need to learn to watch what you say around others." Sebastian chided him.
"Aye. Sorry captain." Samuel stated as he stepped aside for Sebastian to take over. "Do ya think ya will able to trust little miss enough to tell her da truth about us?" He asked.
"Maybe in time." Sebastian stated. "I have a feeling we won't have a choice one way or the other at some point. With Nathan still being around we will likely have more issues to deal with."

Amelia was up bright and early the next morning and doing rounds. Through the following week she got a lot done. The men knew their skills a little better. She kept her promise to Sebastian and broke the arm of one of the men who tried to lay a hand on her and no man ever tried anything after that. She got the men to address her as Sir since they would say ma'am like it was an insult, leaving Samuel as the exception to that rule since he never disrespected her. There were times when one of the men went to help her with something heavy and were surprised when they found their side of the load was the one dragging since she lifted to easier then they could. Done of the men respected her more for this strength, whereas others because too whisper that maybe she was a man disguised as a woman.
Dark clouds were rolling in overhead as Amelia stepped to the help next to Samuel "everything is fastened. Hopefully it's a mild storm and it all holds" she said, looking at the darker clouds on the horizon as the seas began to get rough "you can handle the helm in a storm?" She asked, not doubting him but rather just reassuring herself that he would be alright since it got difficult to control

"Aye miss. The storms are the best at sea." He said, seeming almost excited about the storm coming. "Though I should warn ya little miss...the men get a bit spooked during storms. The rumor that the Nightmare roams the seas during storms get's them a bit spooked." He stated.
Sebastian came up about that time, not caring that the ship was starting to rock a bit from the water being agitated. HE took in a deep breath and let it out slowly before looking out towards the water. "Gonna be a fun day." He said with a slight smirk before glancing up towards Samuel. "What is the bet this time Samuel?" He asked.
"Five men captain. Don't think our one with the broken are gonna be tryin to say she be about today. He be a bit nervous saying to much around little miss here." Samuel said.
"Aye." Sebastian stated with a soft laugh. "Serves him right though." He glanced towards Amelia. "Appologies if there is any confusion."
"The captain and me have a bet going every time it storms to see how many men start talkin bout the rumor. So far I have won every time." Samuel said with a soft chuckle. "He be good at most things, but not with sayin how many like to spread rumors." Samuel looked down towards Sebastian. "What be your number captain?"
"I'm gonna go with eight." Sebastian said. "Men like to talk to much. Worse then a bunch of women at a party." He said before glancing towards Amelia. "No offense intended with that."

"None taken" Amelia shrugged "These guys really believe it, huh? That whole ghost ship thing. They froze up that first night thinking that other ship was a ghost ship. It's dangerous really" she leaned against the rail "What are you betting for? Just for fun or are there stakes involved?" she asked curiously looking at the two, wondering if she might join in and make a little money. She lifted her arm to shield her face as a wave broke against the side of the boat sending a spray of salty water at them
