Sebastian glanced towards Amelia. "Usually with me and Samuel he makes an extra weeks pay if he wins. For you I will do the same. If you loose, no harm." He shrugged. "I am not one to take away when it is all fun." He stated. Sebastian also knew that most likely the Nightmare would be out that night due to the trouble with Nathan being around still. As it grew darker due to the storm the crew was on edge. The first one of the crew piped up thinking that the greenish glow from the see was caused by the Nightmare, which led to two others piping up that they thought they saw it in the distance. To be sure, they only said it where one could hear if they were nearby as they were mainly talking to each other.

"Doesn;t sound very sporting. A bet where you gain at winning but have no risk when losing" Amelia said looking at him, not feeling right about it "I'll best 6, and if you win I'll work double duty some night so you can take it off" she suggested
As the night fell the storm hit as well. Amelia crossed the deck, her footing steady as the ship tossed on the waves and the salty water flushed onto the deck. As the boat tilted she grabbed onto one of the men who was teetering and starting to fall towards the edge and helped him fasten a line to the mast as an anchor so he would not fall into the sea "Man overboard!" Amelia turned hearing the yell and grabbed another fastening line, running to the edge and diving into the raging sea with no hesitation. She kept a firm hold on the line as she dove under and grabbed the man who was sinking fast onto the depths and got him back to the surface, looking towards the ship trying to keep hold of the man and pull herself back to the ship through the crashing waves, which kept throwing them under the surface as they hit

Sebastian let out a sharp whistle when he heard the sound.
Samuel, without any hesitation dove overboard with another line. Sebastian was there in a second with a grip on the rope that held Samuel. "Get yourself aboard missy. I got this one." Samuel shouted to her over the roaring waters as he moved over to take the man. He carefully tossed the man up onto the ship before pausing to look out.
"NIGHTMARE!!" Two more men shouted together in unison as they spotted a ship in the distance.
"That be five captain." Samuel called up as he began to pull himself up the rope, making sure that Amelia was heading up as well.

"Would have been smarter..." she paused as another wave hit "If you and the men had just pulled me up with the rope from on deck" She commented pulling herself close in to the ship but watching to make sure that Samuel was doing fine getting up himself. As they got on deck she helped get the man off Samuel's shoulder so he could get back on deck himself and looked the man over as he still was gasping to breath again "Come on" she pulled his arm around her shoulder and lifted him off the deck easily, not at all concerned about how cold and wet she was herself she brought him into her own quarters since they were drier at the time than the crew quarters and tossed a blanket around him to warm him before heading out to help once more

Sebastian helped pull them up before looking towards Samuel.
"Sorry captain. Got a bit carried away." He stated before glancing out towards the water.
"It's fine. Just next time use your head." Sebastian stated. "Get back to work."
"Aye captain." Samuel said. Once the two got a chance to talk alone Sebastian asked him why he actually went overboard. Samuels response had Sebastian laughing a bit. "Keep the men focused on Amelia and the one overboard since the Nightmare wasn't far out, captain. She came cause of distress. You know the old girl...Her and the crew like to be there if anything happens. Didn't want anyone to see her and take the focus off of the rescue."
"Well next time..."
"I know captain....think of a different way." Samuel stated. "I will do my best. Eventually you going to have to come clean to little miss. She's a smart one, and we both have already slipped a couple of times."
"I know." Sebastian said with a shake of his head.

The seas were starting to calm a little at this point and Amelia was outside, walking the ship in the moonlight looking things over. For just a second she stumble and braced herself with the rails, looking up at the moon that was nearly full The next day would be the first of the night she specified she needed to have off. She sighed, and shook her head, surprisingly not shivering at all despite still wearing the soaked coat

Sebastian was standing at the bow of the ship, starring out over the waters. His arms were crossed, though he knew what all was going on despite his back being turned to the ship. He glanced back towards Amelia as she came out. "How is he doing?" He asked, referring to the man her and Samuel had saved.

"He's sleeping" Amelia shrugged "I just let him stay in my quarters, that way he can rest better and stay warmer" she said coming up next to him "Got him the most dry clothing i could find, and some of the men donated their wool blankets to warm him more. Hopefully the chill passes quickly or we might have to deal with an illness setting in "

Sebastian nodded. "You were foolish to go jumping over as quickly as you did, but I thank you for going in after him." He looked down towards the waters with a slight frown on his lips as he felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. It was one of those odd nights that had even him on edge.

"if I had not he would have been lost" she shrugged not at all bothered at bring called foolish "I would have found a way back onboard of you guys hadn't pulled me up" she looked out "there's something about the sea after a storm, isn't there. Everything is quiet in comparison"

Sebastian nodded. "To quiet if you ask me." He stated, glancing out towards the water once more.
"captain...it be taken care of." Samuel said as he walked up. "Missy." He said in greeting to Amellia.
"Thank you, Samuel. Go get dried off and changed." He told him.
"Aye, captain." Samuel responded before moving off.

"thank you for jumping in to help, Samuel" Amelia smiled at him "it was foolish but it was also brave. Next time though let's just have one of us jump in and whoeveris still on the ship will just have to make sure this lot thinks to help pull the rope to get us out" she smirked. When he left she turned to Sebastian "do you intend to stand guard tonight?" She asked, able to see he was a little on edge. She figured though that if he was staying up anyways she might use his cabin to sleep since hers was in use

Samuel nodded once before he moved off.
"Yes." Sebastian stated. "Go take the captains quarters tonight." He offered. "Just stay out of the black cabinet in there. It is locked and I don't like my things being moved around." He glanced towards.

Amelia raised an eyebrow at him "why would I touch your stuff?" She asked, amused at the notion "I will be stealing shirt though" she said raising her hand in thanks as she moved towards the cabin. She stepped inside his cabin and moved over to the fireplace, lighting the fire. Once it was going she moved and licked the door before hesitantly removing her coat hanging it by the fire to dry a but. She grabbed onto the desk as her head began to swim and her body began to shake. Quickly she stripped of the rest of her clothes and grabbed the first shirt off his she saw, pulling it on then grabbing her coat pulling it around herself and closing her eyes. One she relaxed a bit she moved to the bed, despite her Damp coat, and collapsed onto it, exhausted

Sebastian stayed out on the main deck of the ship, keeping an eye on things. Part way through the morning though, he found his skin feeling a bit burnt, at least more then usual. With a slight shake of his head, he shifted slightly, waiting for the crew to get moving about before he went below.
