Dyten shook his head when he saw a few theives trying to sneak up on them. He stepped out of the shadows, his eyes flashing red as a dark growl escaped his lips. "If you value your lives you will turn around and leave now." When one attacked, Dyten slicked him clean in half with the blade on his back, before turning to look at the others, a frown on his face. They both quickly dropped their swords and fled. Dyten shook his head and flicked the blood off his sword before slipping it back into it's sheath on his back. He then turned and headed back towards Adara. "Theives." He muttered with a shake of his head.

"Of course" she said looking at him "they see a man, traveling with a woman, looks like an easy target. If they get to the woman first the man will comply. Sadly even if they had gotten that far, grabbing me as a shield wouldn't protect them. I don't need you to protect me" she grinned "I can take them all by my lonesome"

"One is dead the other two ran." Dyten said with a simple shrug. "They are no challenge at all. It was not even worth the effort it took to kill the one." He sat back down and shook his head slightly. "I do not believe we will be bothered by them again."

"Or they'll come back in a larger group" she laughed, closing her eyes "Though yeah, you probably could have scared them away without killing one, but you never know how people will react to things" She yawned "We probably have more money then their usual victims though"

"He tried to attack without paying attention to the situation." Dyten said without any emotion to what he was saying. "I am going to try and get a bit of sleep before we move on again." He muttered after a few moments. He leaned back against the tree he had sat down under and was soon sound asleep. He would wake shortly before it was time to move out again.

When he woke Adara was already frying up some smoked meat. She put the meat on a plate along with some bread and handed it to him "Gooood morning dear brother of mine" she said giving him a grin before packing up the rest of the stuff. She had eaten before he got up so she was able to get most of the stuff together already
"It looks like it'll rain by mid-day" she said glancing at the sky "hopefully the forest is dense enough that we can avoid getting wet" she glanced over at him "sleep well?"

Dyten took the food and ate quickly. When she mentioned rain he simply made an annoyed sound in response before helping her finish packing up things. "I slept fine." He finally answered her last question after things were packed. "I am ready to reach our destination." Dyten glanced towards the sky then towards Adara.

Adara looked at him and smirked "I thought the point was the walk" she teased "what if the storm hits?" She threw the pack over her shoulder "would be quicker though. Lsss chance of being pestered by petty thugs too"

Dyten rolled his eyes in response to her statement. "I am ready to be doing something other then walking. That is all we have done for a while now." Dyten glanced towards her out of the corner of his eyes. "And If we are bothered by thieves again the they will end up the same way the other one did." he kept his face emotionless as he spoke. He moved on to walk next to Adara, his senses once again on alert for anything unusual.

"Lighten up Dy" she said pushing his shoulder with her fist "I was teasing on all accounts" she stretched her arms out as her wings shot out. Her wings were black with a redish colour to the tips and white at the base "let's see if we can fly faster then those clouds are moving" she said taking off and hovering as she waited for him to join her in the air

Dyten looked towards her as solid midnight black wings shot from his back, stretching out behind him. he pushed himself up into the air easily, glancing towards her. "Lead the way, dear sister." He teased, with a slight smile once again on his lips. It was hard not to smile around Adara. She was the one good thing in his life that always made him happy, even when he did not show it.

Adara did a twirl in the air air before leading him south, towards their goal. They traveled that was for a while until she lead them to land at the opposite edge of the forest so they could stop in town briefly. Since they didn;t walk that weren't really in need for supplies so they were quick before taking off again. It started to rain around the time most would sit down for dinner and Adara let out a load groan
"I'm going to be soaked through" she complained to her brother making a face,with her hair already starting to drip she looked almost comical

Dyten followed after her not saying much. When she made the comment about being soaked through he shook his hair out of his face which was already soaking wet as well. "We should have stayed in the town and tried to wait out the storm. It is most likely going to be this way for couple of days at least." Dyten grumbled.

[Kiknessa]

"You wanted to fly" she said in a teasingly grumpy voice "Otherwise we'd be in the woods and try" she laughed "Ah well." She twirled fast, throwing more water at him then took a deep dive for the ground,looping up and landing gently on the ground ~Want to wait for the rain to stop inside this cave?~she said, eyeing a cave in the cide of a nearby cliff.

Dyten landed and shook his hair out of his face. "It would be better then continuing to be soaked through. And it is trouble trying to fly through the rain." He glanced towards Adara then looked towards the cave. "Come on. I will see if I can find any dry wood for a fire."
