Adara stood up,working hard to keep her expression a serious one and drew her sword "Here I can cut it..." her face cracked before the end of the sentence "Sorry" she laughed. She cleared her throat "You know Dy." she said, honestly serious now, her expression one of concern "Most people find talking it out to be helpful. I know i already know how you feel but having me read it from your head isn't the same thing. vocalizing puts it out there, so it's not trapped inside" She put her sword away "you know i'm always here for you if you decide you want to talk it out" she said taking his hand "shall we make our way?"

Dyten shook his head slightly. He glanced towards Adara and shook his head slightly. "It is not something I am ready to talk about." he muttered. When she slipped her hand into his, a slight smile came to his lips. "Ready to travel, yes. Ready to deal with sleeping on the ground...not so much." he stated, though he knew that he was not likely to sleep very much.
Dyten glanced towards the flower before heading out with Adara. Surprisingly, he was rather anxious to reach their destination and possibly receive word from the rest of their family.

Adara had suspected he wouldn't be ready to talk about his heartache so she let it go, chatting to him about little things as they walked through the country side. She lifted her hand in a friendly greeting to anyone the passed, always happy to be friendly and kind to anyone. The sun was starting to set when the reached the edge of the forest and she stopped and looked at her brother "Choose" she said cheerfully"You want to collect the wood, or cook?" she asked. They had had a privileged upbringing and though they were not babies about roughing it, they rarely found need in their live to cook their own meals until this trip so it has been a learning experience, and no matter how bad things turned out, they ate it, knowing that they couldn't be picky when traveling

"I will get her the wood this time." Dyten glanced towards her before he immediately moved off to gather the fire wood. He returned a short time later and se down a decent amour near where the fire would end up being. Dyten quickly started a fire, staying silent for the time, simply choosing to enjoy the sounds of nature.

Adara mixed herbs with some fresh meat she has caught while he was getting wood and cut it into chunks. Throwing the meat in a pot with some vegetables she quickly had a stew bubbling over the fires and was rolling out a blanket for her to sleep on once night fell "So at this pace we'll be in Lexing by the end of the week " she said pulling the elastic out of her hair and letting her usual knot of hair fall, shaking her head to help it fall neater before rolling out a map "we should be in the next time by mid-day tomorrow. Are we going to stop or just pick up supplies and pass through?" she asked, looking up at her brother

Dyten thought about it for a moment. "Just get supplies and continue on. Unless we are needed." he stated as he moved over to sit down under a large tree near Adara. "I would rather not have to be stuck in any towns for to long right now. " Dyten leaned back against the base of the tree and closed his eyes. He was completely relaxed, but unlike most, he was also ready to strike at the first sign of danger. It was a natural reaction to his training through the years.

Adara nodded and rolled up the map before turning back to him. She smiled she he had relaxed and decided not to speak. Instead she moved over and stirred the stew, tasting it off the spoon. Smiling happily, satisfied that her cooking abilities had improved, she served two bowls and held one out to him "you're dinner, my good sir" she said with a grin

Dyten opened his eyes and glanced towards her. There were flecks of blue in the gold Of his eyes, usually showing he was relaxed. He took the bowl from her and let it cools before eating. "You are getting better." he muttered as he ate on the stew for a bit.

" you know what they say about practice" she laughed, eating her own "by the time we decide to go home I'll be a chef" she giggled at the thought. She downed her food and reached into the bag. She grabbed out two books. One being a thick old book on plants and herbs and the other was a book of history and legends. Placing the history book in her own lap she glaned at Dyten "want you book? " she asked, holding the plant book

"Not right now." Dyten said, turning down on reading the book for now. He set aside his bowl and leaned back against the tree closing his eyes once again. The lack of a decent nights sleep was finally catching up to him. "Gonna meditate for a while." He opened one eye and looked at her, smiling slightly before closing it once more. Soon he was completely silent. One would almost assume he was dead except for the rise and fall of his chest and in Adara's case, the few thoughts that flickered through his mind.

Adara read her book for a bit then set it aside. She ate a bit more of the stew before dumping the left overs. Grabbing the bowls and the pot she went over to the river and washed everything before returning and putting everything away. She laid back on the blanket and stared up at the stars finding all the constellations she had memorized as a child. Slowly she dozed off into a light sleep beside the fire.

Dyten's eyes snapped open as he heard rustling in the woods. A frown came to his lips as he carefully pushed himself up, already knowing that it was not an animal causing the racket. 'Adara....company.' he knelt down next to her and layed a hand on her shoulder.

~I will check it out.~ Dyten responded as he pushed himself up. He moved a hand to rest on the blade at his hip, his other sword still resting in it's sheath across his back. Dyten slipped into the shadows of the woods surrounding them, almost seeming to easily blend in. He followed the rustling sound to it's source, staying silent and watching the person, determining whether they were a threat or not.

Adara laid back down and listened, following her brother;s movement by listening to the thoughts in his head. She wasn;t the least bit worried. She had only ever seen one person come close to beating her twin in combat, and that was her. The thing was that they weren't totally human. Both of them, though technically half demon, had a something in their blood that set them aside from the rest in the culture of the falcon demons. This aspect of their make up overtook their human blood, making them essentially full-blood demons, despite their human mother.
