Kaien sighed. "and the made their move all to soon." he said as he rubbed his eyes and fell back asleep. clearly he didn't care but at the same time he knew what needed to be done. He was on alert as he enjoyed the comfort of Chloe.
Later on that morning he slowly woke up and saw his heand on Chloe's face... as if he was protecting her. He then yawned and stretched like a wolf feeling his joints unlock.
~I wonder what today will bring.~
Kira and Katsumi were huddled up into like a ball sleeping still as the sun was slowly coming up. they had smiles on their faces even as they slept.

Chloe smiled and woke up when Kaien did. Pulling him down for a kiss she said, "Morning love." Tenma yawned and hopped down from his tree. Seeing Shion awake he said, "You didn't sleep at all last night did you?" "No someone needed to keep watch. Where's Sasha though?" Asked Tenma. "If you mean lady Athena she went back to the tent hours ago.
Sterling was already waking up and putting his glasses on. But he saw his brother still asleep. But something wasn't right with Sidney as Sterling saw his brother. "Hey what's with him he's like twitching in his sleep?" Asked Tenma walking over.
"Don't wake him I normally don't volunteer this but my brother has mild clairvoyance. His Cosmo gives him certain dreams and I'm usually left to decipher them. He might be seeing something useful." Said Sterling. Sidney suddenly startled awake yelling, "No you can't do this!!" Tenma had moved back fast and Sterling patted his brother's back saying, "I need the details." It took a few minutes but after everyone else was up and sitting around the fire Sidney had got his bearings."
"It's quite clear this time brother. I was walking down a path way but the area was unknown. It was night and currently a new moon at the time. Out of nowhere I felt these two monstrous Cosmos and two shadowy figures clashing it out with each other literally destroying the area. I don't know whose Cosmo is whose or who these two people were but I have a feeling one of them is someone we know." Said Sidney.
"Upcoming battle. Your dream signifies an upcoming fight. It could be anyone of us here. Even possibly Lady Athena. Looks like the new moon is tonight as well. We'll see once night time comes again. I have a feeling Hades is making his move." Said Sterling.

Kaien got up and listned carefully as he rubbed his eyes. "that's one way to wake someone up." he confessed as he stretched.
He listened to what sidney and sterling said as he said nothing... he didn't want to say anything about that... nor did he want them to know what he was truely capable of... at least not yet.
"So... what's our next move Lord Shion?" he asked as he stood up and stretched again.

"Our job is to none other then guard this shrine Kaien. Well be switching out with another team in a few days." Said Shion. "Great so we get to spend another few days in the woods out among the bugs!" Said Sidney as he swatted away a few mosquito. "Well we wouldn't be covered in bug bites if those two annoyances hadn't invaded our tents last night!" Said Sterling glaring at both girl.

The girls looked away as they felt ashamed... to much animal instincts got in the way of them being actual humans.
Kaien looked and went over to them and told them to calm themselves for the moment and try to be more freindly then anything else for right now. he the asked for the ointment as he passed it to Sterling and Sidney... "here... use this... its an ointment to help with those bites. Consider it a peace offering from them okay." he said as he went back to Chloe and put his arm around her again, but still was doing his duities as a saint to protect Athena and the temple for now.

Later that evening Kaien and Chloe went off to get some more firewood and something for them to eat. Sidney just seemed to be getting in a constant bicker with Tenma as it was easy to see their personalities were way too similar and they argued about every little thing. 'I'm telling you dumb ass that isn't the way to make a slip knot!" Said Tenma.
"What do you know? This thing could catch a full grown mountain bear with the right bait!" Said Sidney throwing some brush over the traps they were setting up. "We're dealing with specters here not wildlife! That pit hole needs more brush over it as well." Said Tenma. "Look Master Shion said to go make use of ourselves! If you don't like my methods get lost!" Yelled Sidney.
Both then started getting into a fist fight with each other and Sterling could only watch and flinch as they both fell into the pothole they had made with a loud crunch. "You guys Kaien said not to fight! Now look you've fallen into your own trap!" Said Sterling yanking them both out.
"It's his fault!" They both yelled pointing at each other. "I swear you two are so alike it's scary." Said Sterling with a sigh.

Kaien was getting the wood making sure it was nice and sturdy for them. also well enough for them to burn easily. once he was done with getting it ready to be taken back he looked to Chloe seeing her take her time with the water. He just took a chance and got behind her and slowly embraced her from behind. That moment was their moment and he slowly had his hand feel the curves of her body and kissing her neck and cheak almost to seduce her but at the same time as a way to show his affection for her. Now he knew her heart was racing and she was flushed by his advances.
The girls were helping out as usual this time trying to help sterling and sidney and not trying to get close to them. making sure everything was ready for the time being. "there... that better?" said Kira to sidney tending to his scratches.

Chloe squeaked and flushed dropping the bucket shocked. Giggling she suddenly tackled Kaien playfully and lay on top of him kissing him deeply. Getting off him she sat on her knees saying, "Love you too Kaien." She snuggled close to him kissing his neck softly.
"Ack it burns!" Whined Sidney rubbing his arm where she had put the ointment on it. A tree branch went flying that moment and smacked Sidney across the face knocking him to the ground hard. Sitting up he yelled, "Tenma you're so dead!" He suddenly heard footsteps coming their way.
Seeing the woman walk toward.them they all froze. Suddenly screams were heard through the forest as a flash of light was seen coming from the tree tops the birds scattered high in the sky flying away.
Chloe had pulled away from Kaien hearing the screams. Jumping up she quickly sprinted toward the location and came running up only to let out a startled cry. Seeing the blood everywhere both boys and girls along with Tenma were laying there not moving.
Seeing Pandora she snapped and ran over letting out her water whip she cracked it at Pandora who just dodged it and cut Chloe down in an instant. Chloe hit the ground not moving as well.

Kaien smiled with his time with Chloe wanting to get closer to her almost getting to the point where she would show him more of her. But after the screams and such they ran off. Kaien then went in another direction to head off the attackes and then took to the trees.
he then saw what had happened as he widened his eyes as he then saw Chloe get hurt as well... he flared with anger as he jumped into the air erupting his cosmo knowing exactly who it was that attacked them. "PANDORA!!!" he screamed as he focused his cosmo into his fist and was coming down overtop of her. his cosmo looking like a wolf going to bit her.

Her three pronged trident appeared in her hand that moment and she blocked Kaien's attack before she threw him back. Moving back fast she sent out black lightning toward him and it streaked across the ground going right for him.

Kaien moved back then jumped over her streeks of lightning as he went at her again. "STARDUST FANG!!!" he yelled as he powered up his fists to hit her again knowing full well she was going to block him... but he wanted to get in close once more.
"Damn you Pandora... why is it always you doing something so desperate!!!" he yelled at her gritting his teeth.

"If it's for Lord Hades I'll do anything! Even die for him!" Yelled Pandora. She and Kaien clashed violently. Chloe meanwhile dragged herself up. She was a silver saint after all. So Pandora's hit had only hurt her a bit. Crawling over to the boys she checked them over and was relieved to see them still alive. She checked the girls and Tenma as well. Everyone was just out cold it seemed.
"Kaien.... Please don't lose... Please... don't die..." Whimpered Sidney loudly. His eyes opened and he just looked at Chloe as he lay there. By this time Athena and Shion came running up. Running over to the boys first Athena placed her hands on Sidney's face gently using her Cosmo to heal him. She did this one by one for everyone and they all woke up.
Feeling the surge of power Sidney looked up and saw both Kaien and Pandora clashing in the sky above them. He shivered fearfully never having felt such raw power. Athena just hugged him close and said, "It's okay... It'll be alright."
Pandora sent more black lightning at Kaien and she said, "You could have joined us Kaien! You could have been this horrible world's true salvation along with Hades! Yet you became a filthy saint of that woman!"

Kaien continued to dodge and at times even block her lightning moves as he skidded back as he gritted his teeth. "SALVATION!!! Death is not salvation, it is an end... Life is important... no matter how small... you just want to end all of it. I want to love, to be loved, to have a family, to have friends... I WANT TO LIVE!!!" he said as he attacked her again litterally bashing at her trident to get her into a cornor.
"One way or another... YOU WILL NOT WIN!!!" he said as his eyes flared up and Lupus's spirit showed baring its fangs at her. Still he remembered the past of how pandora and him used to play in the fields and have adventures... the gental boy being friends with the strange girl but to him... she was just liek everyone else... but those days were long gone now.

Pandora shot forward and Chloe who was watching the fight let out a startled cry as she saw Kaien get stabbed clear through. She paled seeing the blood soak through his body. A crackle of thunder was heard as the sky darkened. "KAIEN! Screamed Chloe jumping up about to go rush in but Sidney and Sterling grabbed her restraining her. "Let me go he needs help!" Cried Chloe struggling but Shion had grabbed her saying, "Stop Chloe otherwise you too will be killed!"

Kaien coughed up blood as hit triggled down as he grabed Pandora's weapon... strangely enough he pulled it in more as he was very close to her now. "you got me..." he then looked at her. "I GOT YOU! LEGION OF WOLVES!!!" he yelled sending everything he had at her his greatest attack as wolves made from his cosmo came at her from every direction. Kaien was also screaming at the top of his lungs because he was pouring a lot of his cosmo into this attack. "PANDORA!!!" he yelled out.
