Pandora gasped and an explosion went off as the attack made contact. Pandora dropped as well as Kaien. The two of them hit the ground hard. Struggling to get up Pandora used one last desperate move and vanished fast in an instant. Chloe threw the others off and ran over to Kaien.

"Kaien! Kaien!" She cried shaking him as she was in tears. The others ran over and Shion said, "Not good he's going to bleed to death at this rate." "Not if I can help it!" Cried Chloe.

Using her own Cosmo she begin to patch up Kaien's wound. After that she blacked out next to him having used up more then half her own to heal his wound.

Kaien woke up the next day gasping as he looked at where he was stabbed. "i'm still alive...?" he wondered as he couldn't remember clearly what had happened after he attacked Pandora.

He looked around then saw Chloe laying down also.

After the fight everyone had hauled it back to the Sanctuary. Sidney was on the training grounds butting heads literally with Tenma. Their spar had turned into a fist fight. The two were rolling across the ground violently punching each other. Sterling sighed and said, "Come on you two break it up!" Some vines suddenly popped out of the ground as a voice said, "Tangling Mine!" Both Sidney and Tenma were ensnared in them as a silver saint came walking up.

"Now then is that any way for brothers to be fighting?" He asked with a smile as he walked up." "Me related to him!? He's not my brother!" Said Tenma. "Yeah I'd be ashamed to be related to a fool like him!" Said Sidney. "Oh forgive me then now both you hug and make up." Said the man clapping his hands twice. Both Sidney and Tenma landed face first onto the ground with a yelp.

Standing up they both glared at each other and seconds after that another fist fight had broken out just like before. "Well I suppose it's best to let them fight it out." Said the male with a sigh. "Who might you be?" Asked Sterling looking at the silver saint. "Oh me? My name is Thane." He said with a smile. "Oh you were in the top five of the tournament that went on earlier this week." Said Sterling.

Kaien got up and put on his gear as he looked around. He checked on Chloe before he went outside.

"what's going on... ugh! TENMA, SIDNEY... ENOUGH!!!" he yelled out more to sidney like the commanding alpha to stop the fight. "geeze... I got hurt the worst and still these guys are still at each other's throats... can someone tell me what happened after I blacked out. Oh, Hi Thane... good to see you again."

"They're not listening it seems." Said Thane pointing at the two who were still having their squabble. Seconds after that the two were broken apart when ice spikes shot up. "RUN!!" Cried Sidney and he and Tenma quickly ran up the hill to find Chloe in their path.

Skidding off to the side they ran left and saw Shion in their path who actually grabbed the two and banged their heads together then dropped them on their asses. "I've had enough out of you two! Now then Tenma get lost! Sindey, Sterling, Kaien, Chloe you all come with me. I got work for you all.

Both boys sighed and followed after Shion. Chloe grabbed Kaien's hand and followed after them. Once Shion stopped he tossed a blind fold to them all and said, "Put them on. Starting today you'll be training to gain your 7th sense. Once you master this you'll be able to fight on terms with a gold saint. And Kaien no complaints out of you. I know you been holding yourself back. Now this first lesson is simple. You're to keep these blind folds on and rely on your Cosmo to be your eyes. Doing this will strengthen your Cosmo. Everyone following?"

The twins nodded and quickly yanked their blind folds on. "Great so now I'm going to have to stumble my way around? This is gonna be fun. By the way Chloe. You're wearing too much perfume." Said Sidney He got slapped upside the head by Chloe and she frowned putting her blind fold on.

Kaien sighed. "You asked her to put that much on her huh?" he said as he put it on... "still, I like her perfume... it suits her." he said as he gulped and tried to use his cosmo and stared to walk around like a blind man would using his hands and walking very carefully.

"I never get this training..." he confessed as he moved slowly and felt... off.

"Yes your teacher told me to muddle your senses in any way possible. Naturally a strong sweet smell would make you have to work. Chloe make sure you keep near Kaien at all times." Said Shion. Sidney seemed to be doing better off then Sterling as they walked. Sterling had tripped and knocked into his brother the two falling down a hill half way. Shion sighed shaking his head saying, "This is going to be a long day."

As the next few hours went by they seemed to be adapting well. Sidney was walking by and dodged and ambush from Tenma. Both he and his brother sent Tenma flying when they both kicked him. Chloe sighed as she and Kaien weren't too far behind. "Having fun yet love?" She asked She suddenly perked up sensing something that wasn't with the familiar surroundings. "You guys feel it too right?" Asked Sidney. The smell of smoke suddenly caught their noses. Yanking up the blind fold Sidney said, "The village by us! It's on fire!"

Kaien pulled off his blindfold as he looked. "oh no." he ran at full speed as he knew the area... "no time... lets hurry." he said running as fast as he could.

"So much for the training... but I was able to learn the differnece between natural energies and lifeless structures." he said to himself.

Chloe was by his side and the twins weren't too far behind.They didn't get very far when a black arrow stuck the ground in between them. It exploded and they were all sent flying. Landing up against the wall Sidney yelped. Chloe had landed skillfully on her feet though her back was severely burned as a result now. Looking around she could not see anyone aside from the fleeing villagers. It was then she looked at the blind fold yanking it on she stood there concentrating.

Sidney said, "Chloe are you crazy! Now ain't the time to being training!" "Shut up! Let me focus! When I tell you where to aim I want you to hit that spot with full force got it?" Said Chloe coming to a realization that they were dealing with a hidden ranged specter. "Okay then." Said Sidney. A few moments went by Chloe was quiet. She suddenly pointed to her left and said, "There! Now Sidney!" Sidney vanished that moment and punched the building she pointed at.. But instead of the building breaking down a specter had appeared blocking Sidney's fist with his arm. Chloe ditched the blind fold and came in swinging her leg. She aimed a kick at him.

Kaien landed easilly aslo but only with his arm burned a little bit. "You can't hide!!" he called out as he took a breath in, closed his eyes and smelled the area. Thanks to the training he was able to distinguish things faster with his senses and his cosmo. "one... two... three..." he then opened his eyes... "THREE!" he said as he ran to the closest one. "Lunar Flash!" he yelled sending his shockwave kick at the one he sensed closest.

Sidney and Chloe were thrown back and the specter who appeared stood up straight and practically towered over him. Sidney for the first time was shaking in fear. His eyes were wide as he looked up at the specter. This guy wasn't normal. His Cosmo was strong beyond anything that Sidney had ever felt. Shaking as he walked toward him Sidney was startled when the specter walked right past him and stopped in front of Chloe.

"Tell your two little buddies here to leave. I don't want them to get caught up in this." Said the specter calmly as he looked at her. "I see so that arrow was to split us up so you could fight one on one. " Said Chloe. "Actually it was you who I'm more interested in. The others I can care less about nor will I bother with them. If you win I will leave without any other interference." Said the specter. "Very well state your name! I Chloe of Eridanus will fight you! Sidney Sterling both you take Kaien and scout for any others this ones mine!" Said Chloe.

Both boys ran off fast and got Kaien out of range. "I see Eridanus you're the river. A very powerful star on its own. My name is Xanthus as for my powers well you'll just have to see for yourself." He said running in fast. The two clashed that moment and an explosion rocked the area. "Their power is crazy! And I thought you were terrifying Kaien!? Chloe's even scarier!" Said Sidney.

Being sent skidding back Chloe was fast to make ice spikes pop up out of the ground and Xanthus was running fast dodging them. He came up in front of her and she flipped out of the way fast as a sword appeared in his hand him slashing at her. A huge crack had appeared in the ground. "I always did prefer my bow and arrows." Said Xanthus.

Kaien fought off the other spectors as he put his foot on one of their chests as they stared up in fear. "where is she!? where is pandora!!?" Kaien growled as he grabbed the spector now and pinned him to a wall. "ANSWER ME!!! WHERE IS SHE?!" he said as he gritted his teeth like a wolf would... clearly this was getting personal.

unfortunately the spector knew nothing and Kaien just threw him away as he looked at the fight. "she's a river... the pathes she takes can make her grow. and the more she grows... the stronger she becomes... water is soft but fierce... why do you think I was more afraid of fighting her then any others." he said to them.

Shion appeared by the three that moment and said, "You three I got another lesson for you. I know it may seem odd in the middle of this situation but study the fight tell me what do you see?" Sterling took a closer look and said, "The hell he's barely even trying.... It's like he's purposely holding back as if he's trying not to hurt her. But the question is why?" "Not sure but his Cosmo isn't darkened like the other specters. And ah Chloe won it seems." Said Shion. Xanthus had been pierced through with some ice. Not bad for a silver saint. Very well you win this fight." Said Xanthus. He stood up holding shoulder wincing. Glancing toward the others his eyes were directly on Kaien's. "Meet me at sunset in the woods this evening. I need to talk to you one on one. Come alone is all I ask." Xanthus said to Kaien using telepathy. He then vanished after that.

Kaien narrowed his eyes as he took the message in as he thought. ~what's his angle... he gets hurt now he wants to speak with me. I guess I have to go if I want any answers.~ he thought to himself.

"Great job Chloe." he said to her as he walked up and offered his hand. He then looked around and tilted his head. "hold on... 4 spectors and yet... the village was untouched???" he said confused. "just... what's going on?" he asked completely baffled.

Soon night came and Kaien was looking at the moon in Cancer's temple. ~its almost time.~

Chloe meanwhile was in the Sanctuary hot spring with Kira and Katsumi. "So you girls were out longer then me Kaien and the boys were. That must totally suck having to force yourselves to sleep like that." Said Chloe with a smile as she looked at the two.
