Necros shook his head slightly. "I have a couple of things I have to attend to. We will have time to catch up. I do not wish to overwhelm." Necros stated with a bow before he moved to head out.
Dyten glanced towards Adara. "You should stay and rest." He told her. "I can leave you be. I promised to help some of the men with training today anyways." He stated as he moved to excuse himself.
James stood as Dyten came out and glanced towards him. He bowed his head to the young man before seeing Torrent. He moved over towards him as he watched Dyten move to practice with the men. He heard a few of them speak to the man and raised a brow. "General....he must be quite impressive to achieve such a rank so young."

Adara looked at them both and watched them leave. She laid down for a bit intending to get up and in a minute but then slipped into a deep but restless sleep instead
"My father's ward.he was raised asking side myself and my sisters" he said with a slight smile looking over "between him and my little sister i felt a bit inadequate with my fighting skills" he looked over at the man "you knew my father right?" He asked.from what he had understood Dytens parents were friends with his father which was what they understood was the reason for him being left with them

"Matthew. Knew him, have major respect for him, and wish we could have kept in touch." James stated. "Served under him when he was in charge of the military, though most of his focus was directed towards protection of the royal family, not something uncommon with the black falcons." James glanced towards Dyten as the young man worked. "Well if you will excuse me, your majesty." He bowed his head and moved off towards town to see what information he could find. He wouldn't return until later that evening. At the time he was coming up towards the castle he noticed Dyten kneeling in front of his wife's grave and tilted his head slightly. He moved over towards him and noticed Dyten lay a hand on the headstone that bore Jame's name before laying a blue flower down on Lilly's grave. "She was an amazing woman." James stated as he approached.
Dyten glanced towards James as he stood and dusted off his pants. "Wouldn't know." He stated calmly. "From what I understand she died three day's after I was born." He stated. "Or so I was told. If you will excuse me." He turned to move off.
James glanced towards Dyten's retreating back before shaking his head. "There is no way it is him. My son was not a black falcon." He muttered as he looked down at Lilly's grave. "I will find him Lilly. I promise." He said softly. "I wish you could have been here with me. All I know is even if I find him I will not take him from the family he has known. That would not be fair to him or them."

Torrent watched James walk away then moved back inside to write his parents. A letter to both telling them of Adara and her waking and being there, and a letter to his father specifically, telling him of the man that showed up, wanting his father to confirm who this man was and be able to make the call on how to proceed if he indeed was. It was not that he didn;t trust Necros but when it came to family he was very wary of things
Adara was moved up to her room eventually before the night. She slept restlessly that night, plagued by dreams. "Dyten!" she screamed, shooting up out of a dream. A fever had come upon her in the night andShe was in a cold sweat now awakened from her fever dream. She started sobbing uncontrollably unable to help herself her mind muddled and confused and scared all at once

Dyten had been in the room where Adara was, finding comfort in being near her, and wanting to check on her. He was reading through some reports from the men he had sent out on patrol earlier that day. When she woke screaming his name he moved over and sat down on the bed. He laid a hand on her shoulder. "I'm here." He said softly, looking towards her. "It's okay."

Adara was shivering and sweaty, her body also shaking from a strange unfamiliar fear that even before his memory had been lost he had never seen in her before. She instantly clutched his hand unthinking, her breathing labored. For a moment she forgot all about her hesitations with him, his memory loss and the like and leaned against him, laying her head on his chest as she closed her eyes and attempted to calm herself, realizing that she had a fever now from how chilled she was currently feeling as well

Dyten wrapped an arm around her almost as though it was the most natural thing to do. When he felt her fever he laid a hand against her shoulder and pulled away silently for a moment to fix her something for the fever before moving back and handing it to her as he sat down.
A time later found Matthew arriving in Elendron after receiving Torrent's letter. As he arrived he saw James outside. He cleared his throat to gain the man's attention.
James turned and saw Matthew before moving over and bowing fully to him. "Prince Matthew." He stood and looked towards him. He spoke a single phrase in the falcon tongue that had Matthew standing their in shock. "What was the weather the day I left?"
"Raining." James responded. "You took Edmond and Charles with you. You left me because of my wife and the other two were single. Your father sent you off to save your life but the day you left many screamed and blamed you a traitor. Your brother Jerome had already left chasing after Necros." He responded.
"It really is you." Matthew responded. He nodded once and sighed softly. "I need to speak with Torrent." He stated with a bow of his head. "I will find you shortly." he assured him before moving to find his eldest son.

When he came back Adara drank what he gave her, reflexively trusting him and leaned against him once more, eventually falling asleep like that, his presence an warmth calming her
Torrent was sitting in the sitting room with Adara at the time. She was feeling slightly better but she was back to being a little more closed off not yet back to her old self, though she seemed slightly more relaxed, especially when Dyten was around despite the fact that she was still unsure, worried that he'd never remember her and that letting herself believe she had Dyten back would end up breaking her heart and hurting her again
Torrent looked up when his father came in and got to his feet "Father" he said. He would have moved over to his father but he figured since Matthew had not seen or heard from Adara in months he'd want to go to her first
Adara looked up at her father "Hi Dad" she said,a small apologetic smile coming to her lips knowing she had caused them a lot of stress

Matthew looked towards Adara and one could visibly see the relief on his face at seeing she was safe. He moved over and carefully hugged her, whispering softly to her, "I am glad you are back safely baby girl." He kissed her forehead before he looked towards Torrent. "It's him." He said, staying near Adara as he spoke, knowing the news was not likely to make them happy at all. "As much as I know it is likely to pain you though...Dyten has a right to know the man and know who he really is." He looked towards Adara then back at Torrent.

Adara hugged her father in returned and said nothing when he confirmed James' identity, already having heard it in Matthew's thoughts Torrent's face was serious but he nodded "I just wanted to confirm. Didn;t want to be wrong and have Dy get hurt" he ran his fingers through his hair still worried "Who should tell him?" Adara looked at Torrent then at her father "I think first he needs to see the man the raised him. He's still regaining his memory isn't he? if he ever does" she said still skeptical "See if he even remembers Dad. I think Dad's the best choice since he knows Dyten's father and raised Dyten but that doesn't work if Dyten doesn't know who he is"

Matthew looked towards Adara and nodded. "It might be best that way." He looked towards Torrent. "Let me speak with James as well before this happens. He needs to understand hat he cannot overwhelm Dyten with this information especially with Dyten just returning to us as well." He looked towards Adara. "Please write your mother and let her know you are okay. She is happy to hear from Torrent but I know it would help her to hear from your directly." He said softly. He kissed her cheek before looking towards Torrent. "Why don't you join me while I talk with Dyten? Would have help to have someone he does recognize just in case."

Torrent blinked surprised his father chose him over Adara to accompany him but nodded "Of course. He's in the fields right now i think" "I'll come too" Adara said simply, looking at the two "I can write the letter a little later." she said, not really asking

Matthew nodded once. He moved out to find Dyten, letting the shadow's guide him.
Dyten was sitting in his old office when Matthew came in. "Father?" He raised a brow as he came in. "What are you doing here?" He asked, recognizing Matthew almost instantly.
"Come to see you." Matthew said as he moved over. "Welcome home, Dyten." He said as he moved over and hugged the young man.
Dyten stood and hugged him in return but seeing the other two there he seemed confused. "What is going on? The shadow's are stirring." He said, looking between the three.
Matthew sighed softly as he motioned for everyone to have a seat. "The man that came to visit with your grandfather...."
"What about him?" Dyten asked, frowning. "Everyone keeps telling me he looks like my father James, but that is impossible since he is dead."
"That was never confirmed." Matthew stated. "No body was ever found but after being gone so long and the fact that they knew he was captured by the enemy at one point it was stated that he died, but no body recovered." Matthew told him. "Do you remember what you asked when we told you about your birth parents?" He asked him.
"Vaguely." Dyten responded. "Something about wanting to know how I ended up at your home being raised by you and mother." Dyten responded, trying to remember the exact details.
Matthew nodded. "That's right." he looked down, thinking about how to phrase what he wanted to say next, glancing towards Torrent and Adara.
Dyten glanced between the three trying to figure out what was going on.

Adara sat down crossing her arms, listening. She tried hard not to let the fear creep into her face but the shadows began stirring even more. As much as she was hesitant to let dyten in because she was afraid he wasn;t the same person she was also afraid of losing him because of the possibility that maybe he was
Torrent looked between then and then at Dyten "Necros told me but i wanted father to confirm, because we were worried about you getting hurt. and with your not really having all your memories back" he said hesitating now
"He's your birth father" Adara said bluntly, using the bluntness to deflect the fear and dread she was feeling "Dad confirmed it"

Dyten looked between the three but froze when he heard what Adara said. "No." He shook his head before pushing himself and moving over to the window, his thoughts going crazy in his mind as he stood there silently, his back to them. "James Ryder is dead." He stated, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly.
"Talk to him, Dyten. You know non of us would lie to you about something like this." Matthew stated as he stood. The shadows started swirling as Matthew looked towards the boy. "Dyten, just talk to him. I'm not saying go with him, I'm not saying you have to get to know him, just talk to him."
Dyten clenched his teeth as a few memories flashed back in his mind and he held his head. He lifted his head after a moment, reaching up to wipe a bit of blood from where it slipped from his nose before he looked out the window before turning and looking towards Adara for a moment. "The day we turned sixteen was the first time I saw my parent's graves. Adara went with me, because no matter how hard I tried I couldn't go on my own. A part of me never really wanted to believe that they were really gone even though I knew that they were. Now you are telling me that my father is still alive but never found me after all this time. Just doesn't seem like it could be real." He turned and looked back out the window, going silent for several minutes as he let his mind calm from the memories returning. "I'll talk to him." He said finally, a soft sigh escaping his lips. What he had said about the day he turned eighteen was a reminder to Adara that it really was him and that some memories were returning, it was just going to be a very slow process. Surprisingly, however, he believed it more coming from Adara and found comfort in having her there. After a few moments, he turned and looked towards Adara. "How are you feeling today?" He had been keeping an eye on her during her time back, never straying to far away except when he had to go on patrol and then he would always come to check on her before he left and as soon as he returned, always asking about their past, showing his interest in remembering her and that there was still feelings there. The biggest thing he always remember to do was to have a black rose for her in the mornings.
