Dyten could feel the slight pull from the shadows in Adara's direction and excused himself for a moment. He moved outside and saw her training, a slight smile on his lips as he watched her. He then glanced over towards his young cousin's direction and shook his head slightly. "Jakie, what are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be inside getting ready to eat?" He asked him, standing and moving over to the boy.

"I'm looking after Adara" Jakie said looking at Dyten his face serious "I failed you and didn't look after her. I let her disappear. Now that she's back I'm making sure she's safe" He said, looking back towards her "That man. Is he my uncle?" Jakie asked wondering. Jakie was, afterall the grandson of James' brother

Dyten knelt down next to Jakie. "He is your great uncle, yes." Dyten responded. "He is my father." Dyten told him. "And you didn't fail me Jakie, you never could. I am very proud of you and what you have done during my time away and since I have been back." He assured him as he carefully picked the boy up. "Don't ever think you could fail me as the only way for that to happen is if you didn't try and I don't see that happening. I know you tried your hardest and that is what matters. I love you and the rest of the family here and I am not going anywhere again."

Jakie looked at him and nodded "Are you sure it's alright?" he asked. He wasn;t dumb, he knew that he would not be able to do much if something happened other than run for help "I'm happy you're back" he smiled

"I am sure." Dyten assured him. "I am back and not going anywhere and I will keep an eye on her." He stated. "I am glad I am back to." He said, hugging the young boy. "Go inside and get you something to eat, okay? I will be in shortly, and we still have to get you back to training." Dyten smirked slightly before ruffling the boy's hair after he set him down before standing and looking towards Adara. "Adara...you need to eat something as well." He told her.

"What are you, my mother?" she glanced over, a slight smile indicating she was joking as she continued the drills "How was your talk with you father?" she asked simply as she went through the movements as if she were dancing

“You always were stubborn when you were injured.” He stayed before stopping a moment and blinking, not sure what made him say that. He shook his head slightly before glancing towards her. “It went better then last time. Mostly just talked about what I do remember about my life before the war. Asked about the garden and just told me a bit about himself and my mother.”

"Must have been nice" She said as she moved "Afterall you've always wanted to know." she looked at him "Do you feel less out of place?" she asked, knowing that not knowing much about himself and his family always made him feel a little lost

Dyten thought about her words about feeling out of place. He leaned against the railing near where she was as she practiced and tilted his head slightly. "Honestly I cannot give you an answer." he said, being completely truthful. Dyten stood up fully, flinching slightly at the movement on his back.

"That's fair" she sighed "sorry.i was asking as if you were the old Dyten. Guess you don't even really remember how that was before" she muttered "you feel it of place even just because you everyone is remembering you in a way you don't"

Dyten nodded once and looked off to the side. "I am sorry." He said as he pushed himself up. "I will leave you be." He glanced towards her before moving to head inside.
It had now been six months since Dyten's return home. He had gotten to know his father more and was finding he was happy having the man around. However, the biggest frustration to him was not being able to fully remember Adara. Though he had a few more memories return they were small things, such as her favorite drink or her favorite color. He had also tried getting her to spend time with him hoping it would help him remember with little luck. Dyten was growing increasingly frustrated as his feelings for her grew without understanding why. on that particulary day he was sitting outside meditating, his shirt tossed to the side. His back was clearly visible and the damage done by the enemy to his body physically visible. He had not trained or meditated without a shirt on any day since he had returned but that day the fabric had been irritating his skin and he was frustrated. He was confused by the distance between him and Adara because it hurt but he didn't understand why.

Adara watched him leave and sighed heavily shaking her head. She finished up her drill then went inside to join for the meal
Adara was standing in the field that morning being talked to by some of the nobles, though she was not fully listening. One of them, a young noble that had been interested in her since she arrived originally, was showering her and her new haircut with flattery and compliments. Adara just shrugged these off, glancing around the field until she noticed Dyten. A small frown crossed her face as she took in the damage to his body before her attention was called away by a question someone asked her and she turned back to the group

Dyten sighed in frustration as meditation was escaping him. He pushed himself up and moved over to grab his shirt, stretching slightly. One of the soldiers came over and saluted which Dyten returned, having gotten back into working which was something familiar to him. A soft sound of laughter came from Dyten has he spoke to the soldier before shaking his head. Dyten glanced over in Adara's direction but frowned when he saw the noble before looking back towards the soldier. He nodded once and let him know he would take care of it before he moved to head over in Adara's direction as he slipped his shirt on. "Gentlemen." He said with a slight bow to the nobleman there before looking towards Adara. "Trouble towards the edge of town. Care to join me?" He asked her.

Adara looked at him a little surprised by the question. She was going to say no when the noble pipped up "She's the Queen. She doesn't handle trivial matters like-" "Do not" Adara said cutting him off "Presume to speak for me. Ever" she said looking at him "You do not have that right. Nor will you ever" she looked at Dyten "I will accompany you" she said with a nod

Dyten glanced towards the noble and raised a brow at his assumption to speak. He kept the smirk hidden though at her snapping back at him. As he turned to follow after her he let the smirk slip before glancing her direction as it disappeared once more. "Lord Adrama's farmers are rebelling. Stating that he imprisoned the child of the head farmer illegally. I can handle the mob but knew you would be best to handle Lord Adrama and the charges being thrown at him. Things are in chaos so they could not risk trying to bring him to the castle without risking the farmers rebelling and destroying crops."
