Adara said nothing, she just stared. New of his death had shaken her so much that she wasn't sure how to process that he was alive and in front of her.
Torrent looked between then and noticed Adara loosening her grip on her sword and smiled slightly.
She stared for a moment longer then turned away "I'm going to root the scum out of my city" she said simply, moving of without another word, with the intention of finding the rest of the group of men. She couldn't process this and the emotions that threatened to rise up so she would finish the job she started right now and deal with everything else later

Dyten just stood there as she walked away. He shook his head slightly and sighed and looked towards Torrent. "For thinking I am dead she is spitting on the one thing that disgusts me more then anything and that is abandoning family and responsibility." He shook his head before he shook slightly and dropped to his knee. He coughed violently, coughing up a bit of blood before he was able to calm down.

Torrent frowned "i don't care if you don't remember who you are, you have no right to judge her like that" he said a little annoyed "you were her life.everything to her. When she lost you I'm shocked she didn't charge in and get herself killed doing things.she didn't. Yes she disappeared but she's been around. Dealing with things here which are her responsibility just from the shadows. She didn't abandon anyone" he shook his head "why don't you go back to the castle. I'm going to go help her make this city safe again" he said taking off to try and see if he could find her

Dyten stood there for a moment as Torrent took off. He sighed softly and shook his head, feeling frustrated, but also confused. He shook his head once more and rubbed his neck before he headed back to the castle as Torrent told him to. A week later found him sitting in one of the sitting rooms. He had avoided Torrent ant the rest for the week, not really feeling like it was his home at that moment. At that particular time, however, he was meditating in one of the sitting rooms. A few flashes of memories came back to him as he concentrated on trying to remember anything. His brow furrowed as he focused on the flashes of memory trying to make sense of any of it, but only one name came to him. "Ryu??" he opened his eyes and muttered in frustration.
Felicia happened to be walking by about that time and heard her husbands name and smiled softly. "Confused as to how you know that name?" she asked, standing at the entrance to the sitting room.
Dyten nodded once.
"He is my husband." She said softly. "One of the only ones that you actually called a friend. Best friend actually." She said softly. "I believe he should be coming to visit soon. I am due to head home and since Torrent cannot leave yet and I have no one to escort me back, he is coming to take me home." she tilted her head slightly. "He might be able to answer any questions you have, as you two spent a lot of time together training, especially when you were younger."

Adara didn;t return to the castle but Torrent did that same day, having lost track of her. He was saddened that Dyten avoided him but wanted to give him his space, busy worrying himself over the enemies in the city and his sister not coming back. He was surprised that Adara didn;t come to see Dyten yet still which worried him that something had happened
"I came too" A soft voice spoke from the doorway
Alera stood in the doorway, Torrent having written home about Dyten's appearance and lost memories she had decided to come with Ryu to get Felicia. She looked tired and worn from the journey. There were bags under her eyes from her grief from Dyten's loss and her worry for Adara who she had not heard any news about. She stayed at the distance, not knowing if she would mean anything to her adoptive son at the moment without his memories and she knew Dyten;s general nature well enough to know not to approach if he wasn't sure about you

Dyten heard Alera's voice and looked over towards her, a look of confusion on his face, before he tilted his head slightly. "A single red rose, black ribbon. Last one I left was white, though. The day before I left. A man in black was with you. He wanted to go as well but stayed knowing that he would be needed to help at home.
"Momma..." Felicia turned and looked towards her mother, smiling softly before looking towards Dyten as he spoke. "You always left the rose for momma. The red one for her and..."
"Black for Adara." He said softly. "She was the only one I gave the black rose to." He stated as he pushed himself up. "I am sorry but names escape me." He stated softly as he looked towards Alera. "The names I do know, there are mixed emotions with them. Confusion mostly. I am sorry."

"I'm Alera" she said softly smiling at him, not bothered at all "It's alright, sweetheart. You don't need to remember." she stepped in a little but didn;t want to move too close without permission "The man in black was my husband, Matthew" she smiled "We had the pleasure of raising you"

Dyten nodded once as she spoke. "Alera...." He muttered the name before holding a hand to his head and shaking it slightly. He leaned back slightly against the wall as several scenes played out in front of him. "Chocolate coated strawberries?" He muttered confused.
"Your one addiction courtesy of mother." Felicia said with a soft laugh as she looked towards Alera then back at Dyten. "Is Ryu outside?" She asked, wondering where her husband was.

Alera nodded looking at Felicia "He didn;t want to come in and overwhelm him, so he;s waiting down the hall" she said softly before looking back at Dyten "Yes. The strawberries were always a personal favourite of mine, and you took after me with that. Too many days sitting with me and snacking" she laughed looking at him fondly

Felicia nodded and slipped out, easily slipping down the hall. She took off at a run as soon as she saw Ryu, throwing her arms around him as soon as she could, having missed him greatly.
Dyten nodded once. "Forgive me....you should sit and rest." He said, moving aside so she could sit down and relax. He glanced towards her briefly, not really sure what to say at the moment.

Alera laughed and nodded moving to sit "even without your memories you're still my sweet boy" she said softly, looking at him "I do not want to overwhelm you. Please do not feel uncomfortable. I just wanted to see your face" she smiled "I have no expectations. You take the time you need. If you get your memories back that's wonderful, but even if you don't get them fully, i look forward to getting to know the new you. You as you are right now, like this"
Ryu laughed and hugged her back holding her close "There's my heart. I wondered where i left it" he said softly

Felicia laughed softly as she nuzzled her face against his neck. "I missed you." She said softly. "So much has happened." She lifted her head and looked towards him.
Dyten nodded as he moved to lean against the wall. He had several questions but he wasn't sure what to say or do at the moment, but he suddenly looked up and over towards the entrance of the room then back down at the ground. He looked over towards Alera and finally spoke. "How long have I been gone?" He asked her, honestly not sure how long after the war it had been, just knowing he had been in captivity for nearly two years, or so he thought.

Alera smiled sadly and looked at her hands "Three years ago when the war started you left to lead the troops" she said softly remembering that day, so full of emotion and worry "It was almost a year ago, not quite even, that we had been informed that you had been killed. Wrongly, apparently, but that was the earnest thought" she said softly "Adara kept it together at first. Don't think she quite believed but after a few months she began to fall apart....and then she disappeared. Not completely. At first it was just a few hours at a time, then a day or two, and then suddenly about two months ago she just didn't come back" she said, drifting off topic thinking of all the pain they had felt. She seemed to get lost in her head for a second then shook her head as if trying to clear it and cleared her throat "Sorry. The answer is three years. it's been three years since you've been gone from here"

Dyten nodded once. "So it was only about six months into the war when I was taken captive then. A year at most." He said, glancing out the window for a moment. "I remember pieces. The day I was captured. The day I escaped. I remember them tsunting me with names but after a while the names meant nothing to me. Like I had sealed the meaning away." He looked back towards her. "Six months ago I escaped after one of their men mentioned something about a family in Akrita. I am guessing now they were referring to all of you." He frowned for a moment before shaking his head slightly. "I was in and out for a month after being found. Then traveled this direction after I read the name Dyten on the swords I carried. I wanted to find their owner. Wasn't even sure how I had them at the time but I realize now they both held significantcance to me. Both were gifts to a general. One from Elendron and the other from Akrita. One man picked both out though so that they were evenly balanced and well honed." He looked towards her. "That man is here?" He was referring to Ryu. "If so...can I meet him?"

Alera nodded "Of course, sweetheart" she got to her feet "Wait here a moment" she smiled moving out into the hall. Once she was out she lef tout a deep breath and took a moment. She wiped the tears from her eyes and collected herself before heading the rest of the way down the hall to Ryu and Felicia "Ryu" she said softly "He wants to meet you"
Ryu looked at Alera and nodded, moving to his mother in law and placing his hand on her shoulder to comfort her a little before kissing Felicia's cheek and walking down the hall, not sure what he was going to say when he saw his old friend, but knowing the man might not know who he was. He knocked on the door before stepping in, still wearing his travel clothes and his sword strapped to his side.
