Dyten listened silently before glancing over as Jakie and Felicia left then back at Torrent. A slight frown came to his face. "I am sorry I cannot remember him." He stated, showing more compassion then was common for Dyten, even though the man had always felt compassion just not one to show his feelings. His brow creased together as he stared at the cup of tea in his hands. "If it is not a problem I think it would be best that I get some rest." He downed the tea and set the cup aside. "Perhaps the rest might help some." He stated.

Torrent nodded "That is what the tea is for" he said, agreeing that it was a good idea for him to rest "You've had a lot of information thrown at you for one day. I will make sure the castle staff is aware that you don't remember and they should not harass you too much" He said getting to his feet "The clothing in the closet are yours.pretty much all black since that's all you ever wore" he smiled before taking his leave so Dyten could rest

"Thank you." Dyten said, looking towards him briefly. Once he left the room, Dyten settled down into the sheets of the bed and sighed softly. He stared up at the ceiling lost in thought, though those thoughts were shielded. It wasn't until he fell asleep that the nightmares began. It was all the tortures he had gone through during his time away from the castle. The horrors he had been put through and that had racked his body daily.
Sandra was sitting in her father's office when the nightmares started and Dyten was unable to shield it. She reached up and touched her forehead. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly as she focused on blocking it out as she had been taught to do, before opening her eyes and looking towards the servant that was cleaning in the room for a moment before looking back down at the book she was reading.

Torrent looked up from his desk and noticed her touching her forehead "Is everything alright?" he asked, knowing sometimes she did that when she needed to block something out
On the edge of town a small group of enemy soldiers made their way in, disguised as travelers and broke off into smaller groups. One group approached a small house on the outskirts of town and soon they had that family backed against the wall, the wife weeping as she feared for her life and those of her children, the father on the floor beaten by the men who decided to use this house as their place to hid out in town to avoid drawing too much attention. Outside the house a figure stood looking through the window from a distance. Her face was wrapped and hidden, her hair short like a boys. She drew a sword from her back and stepped forward
"Prince Torrent!" the guard burst into Torrent's chambers as he was preparing for the night "I'm sorry sir, but something had happened in town. You really need to see this"
The family sat in the care of the castle staff. They were splattered a little with blood but other than the husband none were wounded. Back in their home the three attackers laid dead, the walls splattered with their blood and the proof of their allegiance to the enemy was laying out in plain sight

Sandra nodded once. "He is having bad dreams." She said softly.
Dyten was moving along outside the castle, avoiding the guards as he did not want questions or anything along those lines. In truth, he wasn't sure what he was doing. when he heard the commotion he raised a brow and moved inside to see if there was anything he could do to help.

Torrent was just getting ready to head out when Dyten came in "Oh, You're up" he said, a little shocked, turning and watching the family get taken into another room before looking back at him "Apparently they were attacked. Someone saved them but they're not sure who. Heading out to the house to see what i can find out" he explained to Dyten, figuring he was curious as to what was happening

Dyten listened silently. He followed along as well, figuring it couldn't hurt and might even help him with recovering his memory. Dyten was silent as he looked around not looking towards the bodies yet when they arrived.

Torrent walked in and looked at the men frowning "Enemy soldiers....there's probably more if they're trying to infiltrate the city" he knelt down by the one body and looked at it "I know you don't remember your old life Dyten but I'm curious what your take on this whole situation is. Think one person could have taken these guys out like this, alone?" he asked, looking around at the bloody mess

Dyten turned and looked towards the soldiers at that point. Memories flashed in front of his eyes like a video. The war, and the events leading up to his capture. As he looked over the faces of the men he reached down and pulled off the helmet. "Does a soldier named Jacobson still live?" Dyten asked. "I have seen these three before." He moved to each and looked them over. "This was an act of revenge as much as an attack to protect. Revenge more so. Anger and rage towards them." He looked towards Torrent. "You said Adara and Dyten...I mean myself, were close?" He asked. "Just how close?"

Torrent frowned a little, thinking he might be seeing where this was going "Grew up together. You felt out of place and didn't really go out and make friends. Adara was the only person you really seemed to like. Spent every day together, at her side. You only ever spoke in front of her for almost a year. You stayed close all the growing years and then you two eventually realized that you were more than friends....You always felt like you needed her more than she needed you, but she needed you just as much, it just wasn't as obvious....you two are soulmates. You two are way more than my wife and i could ever be, your bond is forged in tears and blood, joy and suffering...and in time" he looked at the bodies "And you two trained together. Both of you, strong powerful warriors....she'd definitely be capable of taking on a group like this alone...though she's never killed so brutally before that I have ever seen"

Dyten saw a few more scenes play out in front of him as Torrent spoke. Eventually he had to ask to be excused so he could step outside. Even though he could see these scenes, his mind was completely blocked from anyone else, preventing even the strongest mind readers from reading his mind. It was something that had come to him to protect him from the mental damage that the enemy had tried to force on him. He had already forced his memories away but they had still tormented him until he had learned that he was able to block them from it. He had used it to make them believe he had been broken and that was why they could see nothing in his mind anymore, when in truth it was him just blocking them and only allowing them to see what he wanted. Some small form of control in a bleak existence.
As Dyten stayed outside he reached up to clean the blood away from his nose caused by the strain. He took several deep breaths and let them out slowly as he tried to sort through the different memories, trying to make some sense of them. The only name that kept coming to him that made any sense however, was Jacobson, the man he had asked Torrent about being alive or not.
Meanwhile, heading towards the boarder, Treva was in her full demon form and padding through the forest, her sense sharp and alert for anything that might come their way. She glanced towards the side then shifted forms and looked towards one of the men. "How is Jacobson doing?" She asked, glancing towards him, knowing that the young man had been taking it harder then most when the news of Dyten's death had reached the family. Knowing now that he was alive, she was curious if anyone had bothered to tell him.

Torrent looked over as Dyten walked away unsure of what was happening but the men called his attention back to the work
Outside in the bushes one of the other men from the group that had split off stood, watching. The man pulled an arrow from the quiver on his back and notched it, drawing back his bow and taking aim, his sights set on Torrent. There was a sudden cry and the man flew out of the bushes and fell within Dyten's view. The short haired woman stepped out of the bushed tossing the man's bow aside and holding her own sword in hand, stepping towards the man with deadly intent. The enemy soldier got to his feet and drew his own sword holding it with obvious skill and attempted a strike which was easily repelled by the woman, the man's sword knocked away like swatting a toy away from a child. Shadows shot out, seizing the man's wrists limiting his ability to move as the woman took a stance, ready to lunge her sword at the man when she was suddenly knocked aside by another man, sent falling almost at Dyten's feet She didn;t seem to even notice Dyten when she got to her feet, wiping a bit of blood from her lip, her mask having fallen off Adara Corrington had cut her hair very short, but her identity was clear to all who knew her. She kept her focus on the men who were attempting to retreat and lunged forward to attack, ready to slice them both in two
The Soldier she spoke to looked over at the man in question "He's doing better, M'lady. Still a little off but with it enough that he's going to walk a patrol or two"

Dyten turned suddenly at the cy. However, when Adara landed at his feet he was left speechless as he saw her face. Something trigger in him though when his sights turned to the men. Regardless of the fact that he didn't have a blade on him, his eyes darkened. A dark growl escaped his lips and his eyes went almost pure black as he shot forward past Adara, shadows swarming around him. Only a short time later he stood with blood dripping from his hands and his breathing heavy as he fought to get himself back under control as the shadows disappeared. He stood looking at the remnants of the two men before spitting on their corpses. "Die the way you lived scum." He muttered under his breath as he shook the blood from his hands, his claws shrinking back to normal. His back was still to Adara at that point but by the way he held himself it was clear who he was. As he turned, his eyes landed on Adara once more. His thoughts were empty even though several memories were swimming through his mind just from seeing her face. He tilted his head slightly in confusion as to why she seemed to familiar to him.
The soldiers that had moved to protect Torrent, moved only when they were sure things were okay. One looked towards Torrent. "He has not lost his touch." He stated, referring to what Dyten had just done before he moved over to the two bodies to deal with what had to happen next.
Dyten looked towards Torrent at that point. "I would apologize, but I am not going to." He stated. "That one there played a big hand." He glanced towards the body before moving back over. He knelt down and fished around in the man's jacket before pulling out a small journal like book. He moved and handed it over to him. "I remember him writing in this several times. Including ase locations. Remember that from the times he thought I was unconscious. One of the benefits of training I am guessing. I could make it seem like I was unconscious when I wasn't." He rubbed the back of his head slightly, before glancing over towards Adara. "She seems familiar, but I do not know how. I feel like I should know her and that she is important to me somehow."
Treva nodded once. "I am glad to hear." She said. "Hopefully getting back into his normal life will help him. I know he took it hard when Dyten traded himself to keep Jacobson safe." The only reason she knew about it was from reading Jacobson's report after he had returned.

Adara stopped when someone dashed past her and watched coldly as the men were ripped apart, her focus now on the back of this man who did this, not understanding who this person could be or their violent reaction that caused him to butt into her fight. When he turned and she saw his face her own face went pale and she couldn't move. As he spoke to Torrent she was shaking a little still staring blankly like she was seeing a ghost Torrent was about to respond to Dyten about the men when a soldier noticed Adara "You're highness!" the soldier said, excitement and relief in the man's voice Torrent turned and saw his sister to took a lot of effort not to sink to his knees in relief "Adara-" she jerked her arm back as he reached to touch his sister and she took a step back, still staring at Dyten "It's him, Adara. It is. He doesn't remember who he is but it is him" Torrent said, lowering his hand as he looked sadly at his sister. Adara had always been so kind and friendly and now as he looked at her it pained him to see how she had cut all her hair off and taken on this cold stance, fighting enemies violently from the shadows "Dyten, this is Adara...my little sister and your Fiancee from your old life that you don't remember" Torrent said softly. Adara shook her head "No. No he's dead" she said looking at him still "This is a trick, a trap" her hand gripped her sword tightly and she shifted how she stood, ready to attack this spectre, this fraud that stood before her that dared to wear his face , the shadows stirring around her

Dyten easily forced the shadows away from her as he nodded once in response to Torrent. He moved over and reached up to take the remnants of a blue flower that had been in her hair. "You are staying in my old house in the woods. The one given to me by my grandfather before he moved into the castle barracks when him and Jerome started working in the special ops section of the guard. Dealing with supernatural." He stated. "Blue violets. They were his daughter's favorite, my mothers. He planted them there for me as a reminder of her and my father." He looked towards her. "What your brother speaks is true. I don't remember everything. Bit's a pieces." He lowered the shield in his mind where she would be able to see the swarmed tangle of memories. What stood out the most, however, was from the time he tried to save Jacobson all the way to his arrival in Elendron." He didn't care if she struck him or not, knowing that if she really believed him dead and that he was an imposter she would have already struck. Something told him she wouldn't though. "Tell me...what reason would I have to trick you? I gain nothing from this. In truth, the only reason I came was to figure out who the swords I had belonged to because they had your families crest on the handle next to the name of your fiancée." He stated.
Dyten moved back over towards the bodies and knelt down next to the one that had the book. His hand changed to nothing more then a shadow as he shoved it into he man's chest. He clenched his teeth slightly before pulling his hand back and shaking the remnants of his hand before he stood as the body seemed to just disintegrate. "They are feeding a trap." He said with a slight frown. "That was a double." He turned towards Adara and the others. Dyten stood but stumbled slightly, a bit shaky from the effort. He shook his head slightly before looking towards Adara. It was then that he caught a familiar scent which brought back a few memories that had been gone to him. "You have been staying in my old cabin, the one at the edge of the woods. My grandfather gave it to me after he joined the elietes as a special task force to deal specifically with issues that needed someone who could deal with them that wasn't necessarily connected to the crown." He blinked. "He had planted blue violets there because they had been his daughter's favorites....my mothers." He blinked as he reached out to touch a flower he saw resting in her hood. He hesitated though and pulled his hand back. "I am sorry that was...." He stopped not really sure what to say at that moment. He had never told anyone about the blue violets as they were something that was sort of a special thing between him and Necros and they were rare. He had not even told Torrent where his supply of the petals came from which were used to cure a specific poison. Only Dyten and Necros knew about them and Dyten had not even seen Necros since his return.
