Calix showed up before any of the guys had gotten then and nodded to Zack
"Captain" he said, respectfully enough "I didn't expect you'd be here yet. I was going to get warmed up before you evaluated me"

"You have me a little on edge." Zack stated as he stopped his training and turned to Calix. Zack was simply in a pair of pants and had bindings on his hands and wrists to help support his wrists. He had a few scars along his stomach and lower back, but his muscles were clearly defined despite his thinner form. "Why are you really here and what do you plan to do with Lilah?" He said, keeping his tone even, despite how irritated he was with Calix.

"I transferred here, I told you that" Calix said, moving over to the lockers and pulling off his shirt to show his muscular frame "Lilah...I didn;t even know she was here now until this morning. When I saw her practising on the field with the cheerleaders" he smiled to himself as if remembering something "She was always so much better than any of those bimbos." he looked over "I kept track of her, even after i moved, after i broke up with her. She developed quite the reputation. Part of it is probably my fault. Still just as hot as ever though"

"So while you are here, I will tell you this once. Don't screw with those that are under my protection. Should you join, that means you protect them, but you don't lay a hand on them in any way." Zack stated. "The guys in the group, they are what help detour the idiots and the bimbos from messing with those who seek our help." He stated, crossing his arms over his chest. "Can't deal with it, turn and walk out now. This is a way of life, not just some club."

"Sounds fair" he said, standing up. "Tell me" he said, going into to a bag to practice "Do you know what my reputation is so far at this school?" he smirked "Hot guy, who rejects all the girls who ask him out, but is a lot nicer about it than Zack. Lilah's already bitter and nasty towards people, do you think being with someone like you, who treats others like you do, is good for her?" he started practising "I hear you're rich. and that you got her into a fashion show." he glanced back at him "I bet she loves that. But has she ever told you that she loves you?"

"I don't rightly care what the trash says. Most of them have cones something to harm another. And I didn't choose my reputation. It chose me." He stated, watching Calix warm up. "I never pushed her into the relationship. She chose it. And she doesn't have to say she loves me. I can tell without those words." He stated, not reacting to Calix's words. "And the way she treats others...ever think that you are the cause of that, not me?"

"I love how egotistic you are. 'Most of them have done arm to others.' So by that logic it's alright for people to be mean to Lilah and treat her like 'Trash' as you said. Talk to a girl named Aliena Gomez. She bumped into Lilah once when then were in middle school, and Lilah pushed her down the stairs. She was in the hospital for three weeks, and is now in a wheelchair." he said "But that time we were dating, she wasn;t mean so a single person." he smiled "I changed her for the better. She used to tell me everyday that she loved me."

"And you are the reason she resents others now. I know that you dumped her a week after you slept together." Zack stated. "And after that, she told me was when she started to push herself away from others. Easier to be mean and keep them at a distance then to draw them close and let them hurt you." He stated, easily sending the punching bag near him to the other side of the room with a single punch. "Keep trying to screw with me, Calix, because it won't work. You are wasting your time." He then turned and walked out. "Your on the team." he stated before he grabbed his shirt, slipped it on and headed off to meet up with Lilah. He was angry at Calix, but simply shook his head and waited out by the car at the end of the school day.

"My family moved, I had to" Calix said unbothered. He watched Zack leave and smirked. Then fact that Zack had even bothered throwing the punching bag across the room as a show of strength let him know that he was indeed getting to Zack
Lila stepped out of the school and was approached by a girl
"Rumour has it you know that guy Calix" she said smiling at Lilah, Lilah said nothing, but looked to be listening "Can you give this to him for me?" she asked blushing
Lilah smiled "Sure" she said
The other girl smiled happily and thanked her, skipping off
As soon as she was done Lilah rolled her eyes and ripped the love letter in half, tossing it in the garbage before heading towards the car

Zack smiled when he saw her and moved over, leaning down to kiss her. "Sorry about skipping class." he told her. "Had to deal with your former friend." he stated softly. "Want to head out to grab a bite to eat before heading home?" He asked, trying not to bring up the issue with Calix at the moment.

Lilah nodded quietly and kissed him back "Sure" she said, seeming a little distracted still. She got into the car and when he got in as well she glanced at him "How do you feel about abortions?" she asked. "I have to write a paper for class on the subject so I'm just trying to get everyone's views on it. I already know how Ava feels but that's thanks to her current condition a little i think "

"I am not for them, honestly." Zack stated, looking towards Lilah. "I would rather the child go up for adoption over abortion." He stated softly. Most of this was because of his daughter, but he was not one for abortion, even before she was born. He started the car up and headed towards a nice place that they could grab a bite to eat before heading home.

Lilah nodded. When they went out to eat she tried to be more herself, asking him questions about the fashion show. after a bit she looked at Zack and hesitated "So..did you let Calix join the team?" she asked him, unable to curb her curiosity any longer
