Zack nodded once as he looked towards her. "There is something off about him." Zack stated. "It's like he is trying to make me questions myself and you." He muttered softly. "Like trying to bring up how you were before we met and when you two were dating. Tried getting me to question if I was good for you or not because of the reputation i have gained because of a bunch of idiots that didn't like getting beat up when they acted like idiots."

"Calix likes getting what he wants" she said softly "But he never does it violently, he's a very..... gentle person." she said, touching her arm lightly as she spoke "we dated for almost a year and i never saw him raise his voice, or his hand, to anyone"

Zack nodded once. "He seems to think you are going to leave me and go back to him." He stated softly. He knew that it would upset him and hurt him greatly if Lilah left. However, he wasn't gonna make her stay, not if she really did love Calix. Above all else, he wanted her to be happy. Would he go blow off his anger, most likely. Would he leave the school and probably find a different lifestyle, chance were yes. But he would do it if it ment her being happy.

Lilah looked honestly surprised by this "He want's me back?" she asked, not seeming to believe this "Why?" she asked incredulously "He broke up with me almost three years ago"

"I don't know." Zack stated. "I'm not going to tell you what to do, but...I will tell you this. I don't trust him." He stated. "There is something off about him that I don't like. Such as his stalking you, breaking up with you the way he did and now wanting you back." He shook his head slightly as the waiter came over to take their orders.

"I don't know how I feel about all this. I'm so confused" she said softly "At one point I would have sworn that i loved him and that he was the only guy i wanted in my life...." she reached out and put her hand over his "what would you do?" she asked, not knowing what she would do "If you found out suddenly that you could have Cassandra back...which of us would you choose?"

"You." Zack said without hesitation. "I loved Cassandra once, yes." He told her. "I have you now." He told her. "Cassandra was in my past and that is where she needs to stay." He reached out and touched her cheek gently. "I know this may be soon but...I know now that I do love you. And even if you chose to leave, nothing would change that." He moved his hand back to rest against the table. "You drive me crazy, in a good way. I feel different around you, and I'm not trying to be mushy in what I am saying. I am just telling you the truth. I want to make you happy."

Lilah closed her eyes when he touched her cheek and opened them again when he pulled his hand back, taking it when set it down "I want you to be happy too" she said softly. She glanced down at their hands "But...you don't know what I've done in the past..."

"It's in the past." Zack told her with a shake of his head. "This is a new start. A new experience and a new chance at things." He smirked. "At least that is how I am choosing to see it." He kissed the back of her hand. He wasn't upset that she didn't say I love you. He knew that if she chose to, she would say it in time. If not, he wasn't going to harp on it. He could see that she cared in the way she acted and that was enough for him.

Lilah nodded slowly "I'm really sorry for all this" she said "I never thought that any of this would happen" she looked at their hands "I don't know what the right thing to do is. If it wasn;t for you, i wouldn't hesitate to go back to him. And knowing that...It feels like it's unfair to you. I've only ever once doubted myself like this, and i think then i made the wrong decisions, so I'm so....scared, to make the wrong decision again. But how do you know which is the right one?"

"Unfortunately...you don't. Not until the decision is made." Zack told her looking at her as he spoke. "Lilah...I will support you no matter what your decision is." He promised her, not wanting her to feel like he would hate her if she chose to walk away. He would, however, not forgive Calix for it.

Lilah got up and walked around the table. She pulled out his chair and sat on his lap, layoing her head against his chest

Zack wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "It will be okay." he assured her softly. He kissed the top of her head, barely glancing up when their food was served. He was more content at that moment to hold Lilah and let her do what she needed to at the moment.

"I don't want to hurt you"she said looking at him "And I don't want you to just roll over either" she touched his face "This next week is going to be very confusing for me and I need you to fight to keep me with you." she paused " Not physically" she added, not wanting Calix to end up beaten up

Zack nodded once. He leaned down and kissed her softly before saying, "Anything you need." He hugged her once more before turning her a bit so that she could reach her food when she was ready to eat.
