Zack glanced towards Hedone when he saw her talking to Lilah. He ran a hand back through his hair before glancing up for a moment. He shook his head slightly before moving to lounge on the bleachers while he waited for Lilah to get finished.

Lilah didn't answer but instead told Hedone to get back to practicing, feeling a surge of possessiveness since she knew that Hedone wanted Zack for herself. After practice instead of staying to practice more on her own She walked over to Zack, not seeming to notice Calix waiting to talk to her, too focused on keeping Hedone away from Zack

Zack was lounging on the bleachers when Lilah came up. He glanced towards her and smiled as he jumped down off the bleachers and moved over to her. "How did practice go?" He asked her. "I apologize for being a bit late to show up, I stopped by the dojo to check on the new guy that was just joining."

Lilah shrugged "i was practicing.i honestly didn't notice when you came " she smiled a little then sighed " it's your loss really. I was pretty hot out there"

"I can imagine." He said with a teasing smirk on his lips. He wrapped his arms around her and leaned down a bit to kiss her lips gently before pulling back and looking at her. "Ready to head home or was there somewhere else you would like to go?"

"I'd hope so" she smirked in return then she shrugged. "Nothing specific really. Could maybe work more on the party planning for your event since that's not far off and I've got millions to spend" she said lightly, still not sure if even she was capable of putting a dent in that budget

"As my lady wishes." Zack stated. He wrapped an arm around her and smiled as he shot a glanced over towards Calix. He lifted his hand in greeting before he moved off with Lilah, letting her decide where they went. He, honestly, was just happy to spend time with her while he could.

Lilah spent the evening with Zack in the hall ordering people around and making phone calls to order other things they still needed

When they got home, Zack was more relaxed the he had been earlier. He kissed her softly as they entered the building before looking at her. "What is bothering you?" He asked, being able to tell something had bothered her with how possessive she had been after talking with Hedone.

Lilah shrugged "this whole situation is stressful.i don't like how it's making me feel, how it's making you feel" she looked over at the couch " how it's making Hedone feel" She muttered quietly . she Shook her head " i wish i knew what to do" she sighed "but talking about it bums you out so let's not talk about it"

Zack held her close. "Lilah, I am going to fight to keep you. You are one of the best things that has happened to me. But ultimately, I want you to be happy." He payed a hand against her cheek. "I love you." He said before kissing her softly, not pushing for a response.

Lilah nodded and smiled a little, touching his face just for a second "I'm going to go take a shower" she said, kissing his lips softly once more before moving away to go do as she had just said

Zack kissed her back, holding her for a short time before he let her go when she pulled back. He smiled softly towards her as she walked towards the bathroom to shower. After he heard the water running he moved over to the window and stared outside. When she came out she would find him lost in thought on what had happened and what was still to come. He turned slightly when he heard the bathroom door open and smiled softly, only to look out at the sky when he heard the rumble of thunder and saw the flash of lightning that hit close to the house.
A few days later, though it was a school day, Lilah would wake to find Zack gone. A note was left for her about his returning home, having been called back by his father. At that particular time he was standing in front of his father listening to the newest update on information from who had attacked his brother. He knew there was not likely to be anything new on the situation but he could hope.
