Vane chatted with Zack till lunch was over. Then he excused himself and headed with Azalea towards their next class.
Zack glanced around and noticed that Lilah had disappeared and shook his head. He got up and headed out towards his next class, still trying to figure out why Calix was there and Lilah's reaction to seeing him.

Lilah was waiting outside the class, since they had it together anyways and looked at him. She moved over and hugged him quietly, resting her head on his shoulder and closing her eyes

Zack was a bit surprised by this, but wrapped her arms around him. He wanted to ask what was going on, but decided just to keep his mouth shut about it for the time being. He had a feeling that was why Vane had suddenly spoken up during lunch, was to give Lilah a chance to escape and calm down.

"It's fine." Zack said. "I should have waited until we were alone." He told her, kissing the top of her head. He lifted her chin and kissed her softly, makings sure she knew that he wasn't upset.

"I never got over him" she whispered "He...he made me feel safe, loved, and then when i finally gave in...he was my first" she said softly "and then a week later he just dumps me and i...So i started doing the same to guys, using them and leaving them, not caring about feelings or love...when i saw him i felt like that girl again, the one who so easily fell for him, and I'm so confused now, i don't know how i feel or how I should feel"

Zack frowned when he heard. "Doesn't sound like a guy that's worth your time." He stated, laying a hand against her cheek. "I will keep an eye on him." Zack told her. "I'm not going to let him use you, which seems to be what he did." He told her softly.

Lilah stayed quiet now, her mind still muddled, wondering is maybe he had not been using you. He had moved right after dumping her, so part of her wondered if he had still cared about her. It was confusing for her, especially since she was not with Zack. She knew that if she had been single right now, she would have run back to Calix in a heartbeat

Zack sighed softly as he walked with her into class. He was a bit irritated with Calix's sudden arrival now, and until this moment, he had been considering letting Calix join. Now, he wanted the guy gone.

Lilah was quiet through class, saying nothing more. Afterwards she kissed his cheek softly and moved off to her next class
"Hey Zack" Azalea said hesitantly, walking over "can i talk to you for a minute?"

"What is it?" Zack said, looking towards Azalea. He was in a bit of an irritated mood, but made sure not to put it off on anyone else, knowing that it wouldn't do any good to get mad at others who had no control over the situation.

"Calix" she said softly "I..." she hesitated "I can sense that he's got a strong pull on Lilah. Lilah....she seems confused, unsure" she bit her lips "He seems nice to everyone. Definitely doesn;t seem like someone who would play girls, and from what I can see he's...honestly interested in Lilah. I don't know, everything i sense and know about him makes him seem like a good guy...but i have a strange feeling...like I might have seen him before....when i was with my dad"

"Think you could find out from your father about him?" Zack asked, his suspicion of the guy growing. "If he is out to hurt her in any way he is gonna pay for it." Zack frowned. He was honestly worried about Lilah, and this Calix guy. He also didn't want to risk loosing Lilah to someone else and wanted to find a way to get him away from Lilah.

She shook her head "I don't think he'll hurt her." she said "what i sense from him is a little more like regret." she looked at him "Maybe...you should just ask him directly what his intentions are" she suggested "i'll see what my father can tell me, but if I'm right, there have been gods and demi-gods in Lilah's life a lot longer than she knows"

Zack nodded once. "Thanks." He said before he headed off to martial arts a bit early, skipping the last class of the day, which wasn't a big deal since they were just watching a video in class that day.
