"If you don't mind Adara....I would prefer some time alone." He looked towards her, hoping he wouldn't hurt her. In truth he was hoping he could sort out a few of his thoughts while she slept. But he didn't want to upset her by his words or his thoughts.

Adara sat up and looked at him, shocked "O....ok" she said, surprised by this. She got up off the bed not actually knowing what else to say "I'll...i'll see you later then, i guess...."

Dyten spent the rest of the day stretched out on his bed thinking. He was frustrated that there was no one he could really talk to about what was going on. He wanted to talk to Adara, but since she was the current object of his confusion it did not work very well.
He finally felt into a fitful sleep late that night. Occasionally he would toss and turn, muttering Adara's name in fear. He snapped awake as the sun started to rise, and sat up in a cold sweat. He sighed and staired out the window. He was in only his night pants as he had tossed his shirt in the corner before he had fallen asleep.

Adara was outside with the rise of the sun training. She was really troubled with how Dyten was acting so she was pushing herself in the training. The young guard from before came out to talk to her and she set her sword aside, though she was still agitated

Dyten pushed himself up from the bed and limped over to his window. Unfortunately it overlooked the training grounds. When he saw Adara with the same young guard, he felt his eyes turned red with jealousy once more. He slammed his fist into the wall next to the window, before resting his forhead against the cool glass. After a moment, he stumbled back, growing dizzy. He was pushing himself to much, and his body was finally rebelling. 'Adara....' He thought before he leaned against the wall and slid to the ground. He leaned his head back agianst the wall, sweating as his fever started to return.

Adara suddenly felt like something was wrong and shot into the air. She came in through the balcony and saw Dyten on the floor. She ran over and touched his head
"Dyten you idiot" she muttered, pulling his arm around her shoulder and hoisting him to his feet, leading him over to his bed and making his lay down. She got a cold compress and put it on his head "Stay in bed when i;m not around. " she scolded

Dyten didn't say anything as he focused more on calming his breathing and his racing heart. AFter a moment, he finally went into a meditative trance, the cool compress helping to cool him down. As he meditated, his thoughts focused completely on Adara. The main thought was, 'I cannot loose her.'

Adara sighed brushing some hairs out of his face and leaned down and kissed his forehead "Moron" she said lightly, moving over to make him a herbal mixture for the fever, using one of his books as reference

Dyten stirred about an hour later and coughed a bit before looking towards the door. "Someone's outside." He muttered, knowing it was one of her family memebers. It was Felicia, who had brought some food for the two.

Adara replaced the cloth on his head with a new one and got up opening the door "Can you stay a while and make sure he stays in bed?" she asked, before slipping past her out of the room

Felicia was a bit surprised but nodded once in response. She closed the door behind Adara before moving over and setting the food down. She looked towards Dyten who simply lay there stairing up at the ceiling. "Are you okay, Dyten?" She asked softly.
Dyten reached up and touched the cool compress. "Confused."
Felicia smiled slightly. "About your feelings for Adara?" She asked as she moved over and sat down. "Everyone know's you care for her, Dyten. You love her don't you? ANd I'm not talking about loving her as a sister."
Dyten glanced towards Felicia a bit surprised. "Dyten....you were muttering her name when she brought you in. While you were sleeping you kept saying you can't loose her." Felicia reached over and used a cool rag to wipe his face and neck gently. "Hiding it from her isn't going to do either of you any good though."

"Even i could tell it" Torrent said from where he now stood in the doorway. "Adara;s oblivious though, so i agree with Felicia. Tell her. Right now she doesn;t know and how you're acting right now is just hurting and confusing her right now."

Dyten looked away from the two, his cheeks and ears red from embarassment.
Felicia smiled slightly before glancing towards Torrent then back at Dyten.
Dyten clenched his hands into fists before relaxing them. "She thinks of me as her brother." He said after a moment.

"Last i checked you thought the same way about Adara" Torrent pointed out "You and Adara have never been siblings, you guys have just been to thick to realize it."
