Dyten shook his head, straightening out his hair. He turned his head slightly and looked at her out of the corner of his eyes. "Doubt she sees me the same way." Dyten muttered before looking away from her again. Dyten sighed in frustration and fisted his hand in his free pillow.

"Awww Don't be silly Dy" she said ruffling his hair again "Any girl would be lucky to have you. If this girl you like doesn;t like you then she's got to be crazy. Just do something for her. Give her flowers or something."

Dyten burried his face back in his pillow with a muffled, "I already do." He closed his eyes and simply tried to drown out his surroundings at the moment. Finally he gave up and just turned his head so he was stairing at the wall and delt with the headache he was getting.

Realizing he had a headache Adara went quiet, trying to figure out who the mystery girl could be. She laid down on the bed and stared at the ceiling as she thought, her hand still on his head

Dyten had his eyes closed and eventually relaxed as his thoughts finally settled. He let out a soft sigh, but it wasn't in frustration. It was actually in boredom.

As he lay there, one scene kept playing through his mind that was causing him to tense up a bit. 'I am sorry Adara. I should never have worried you like that.' He thought, his hand tensing slightly. 'I just wish I knew why I feel so differently around you.' He moved slightly, trying to get himself relaxed again, but her hand on his head was causing him to blush again.

After a bit there was a quiet knock on the door and Adara got up to answer it. Once again it was the young guard, who now leaned close to Adara, whispering something in her ear. Adara smiled and nodded to him, whispering something in return

This time Dyten didn't bother blocking the growl that came through. He didn't like having others in his room aside from Adara, to begin with. But the young guard was really starting to get on his nerves. His eyes were already red and if it weren't for his leg he would probably have had the gaurd pinned against the wall at the moment.

The young man stepped back when he heard the growl and glanced at Adara
Adara looked at Dyten surprised then glance back at the guard then closed the door behind her as she walked in more
"What was that about?" she asked confused "I know you don't like people in your room but that was a little unnecessary don't you think?"

Dyten didn't look at Adara. He let his eyes return to their normal honey gold as he did his best to stay calm. 'The problem is, I am being jealous and I need to stop. She won't look at me that way.' He shook his head slightly in frustration but refused to speak aloud.

"Dyten" she moved closer and touched his face to make him look at her "Tell me what is up. Please. You're acting weird. What is bothering you?"

"Nothing. Don't worry about it." Dyten said, turning away. He hated upsetting her but he was so confused with her around. He couldn't make sense of what he was feeling around her.

"Dyten....." she dropped her hand to her lap and bit her lip "alright" she said getting up off the bed and walking to the window quietly, staring out at the courtyard.

Dyten sighed as she walked away. He instantly felt bad when he saw her walk over to the window. He carefully pushed himself up and looked towards her. "I'm sorry." He said after a moment. "I'm...just confused." He stated and looked down at his legs. "I guess the near death experience shook me up more then I realized."

Adara came over again and sat down beside him again, letting out a sigh, and leaned against him "I know." she said softly "sorry"

Dyten lifted an arm and wrapped it around her shoulders. "Go get some sleep, Adara. I will make sure I do the same." He promised. "Besides...you can't force me to stay put if you are tired or sick."
