Dyten clenched his hands into a fist before he reached up and pulled the cold compress off his forhead. He set it aside before sitting up, being careful not to move to quickly. His muscles flexed slightly, rippling under his scarred skin. "Even if I did tell her, Torrent. She seems to be more interested in one of the other soldiers."

Torrent frowned in confusions "One of the soldiers? What are you talking about?" he asked, then realization dawned on his face "Oh you mean Nathan?" He laughed "Nathan idolizes you. He's been talking with Adara about arranging something to cheer you up while you're stuck in bed"

Dyten looked towards Torrent in surprise. "What?" He blinked, confusion and surprise clear on his face. "Why?" He asked after a moment, not understand why anyone would idolize him. He was, in his eyes anyways, a heartless fighter. His only emotions he willingly showed around anyone aside from Adara was anger or no emotion at all.

Torrent shook his head "You're ridiculous" he laughed "You're a top notch soldier who stand up for what's right and trains only the best soldiers and takes no one's crap. Any Soldier would idolize you"

Dyten looked towards the window, frowning slightly. He went to get out of bed only to find himself pushed back down with Felicia's hand on his shoulder. "You may not consider yourself my little brother but I do. So stay put before you make yourself worse." Felicia said smiling softly. "Besides...mother would be quite unhappy with you if she found out you went and made yourself sick again."

"She's right, you know how mom gets"Adara said coming back into the room
"Where did you run off to?" Torrent asked with a grin
"Mind your own business" Adara said sitting down next to Dyten and touching his forehead "Once your fevers down we can think about maybe doing something outside the room"

Felicia looked at Dyten. "Tell her." She told him before she stood up and grabbed Torrent's arm. "Come on." She said smiling at him as she pulled him from the room, closing the door behind them.

Dyten glanced down at his hands, unable to meet Adara's eyes at the moment.

"Yes boss" Torrent said leaving the room
Adara looked at her siblings confused then back at Dyten "Tell me what?" she asked "What did i do?"

"Nothing." Dyten said, shaking his head slightly. He glanced towards her. "They are referring to the way I have been acting since we made it back. Which has been...out of line." He stated, looking down. He carefully took her hand into his as he tried to think of what to say.

"Which part? You growling at people or you pushing me away?" Adara asked quietly, looking down at her hands. "You almost died on me. I personally dragged you back here"

"I wasn't trying to push you away." Dyten said, looking ashamed of himself, knowing that is exactly what he had done. "As for Nathan....I was jealous." He stated, glancing down as his ears turned red. "I...jumped to conclusions and I shouldn't have."

[Kiknessa]

"Wait you jumped to conclusions about Nathan?" Adara asked confused "Dy, you're the most important person in the world to me. I love my family, i always will, but you've been by my side since we were born. Do you really think i;d replace you in any way?"

"I thought maybe that...." He took a deep breath and looked down, growing frustrated at how nervous he suddenly was around Adara. "I thought you liked him." Dyten said after a moment. "And I got jealous."

"Why would you think i liked him?" She asked confused "I'm friendly with everybody, one of the guard just makes it make even more sense"

Dyten sighed as he glanced up at her. "I..." He looked back down not really sure how to word it. He looked towards he window. 'What do I say....' He thought in frustration.
