Dyten nodded once. "Alright." He said without arguing. He pushed himself up from the tree and glanced towards her. "Let's find a place to set up camp then." Dyten rested a hand on the hilt of his sword, more out of comfort then anything. He glanced towards her then out at their surroundings.

Adara nodded cheerfully walking along with them. She paused suddenly and threw the knife she had in her belt. It hit a rabbit, killing it, and she sauntered over, picking it up
"Dinner" she said, grinning at Dyten, content

"Might want to get at least one more." Dyten suggested. He glanced around then back at Adara. Something felt a bit off to him. His nerves were on edge because of it.

Adara nodded "I can easily find another" she said cheerfully. She put her arm through his "stop being so tense silly. It's just you and me here."

"Something just feels off." Dyten muttered, glancing towards her. He looked away again as they walked, going silent once more. He finally looked out at the sky, pondering things.

Adara let go of him and ran into the trees returning with a second rabbit "There food for both of us. " she paused and looked at him with a small frown "Wrong how" she said softly, knowing well enough to trust his instincts

Dyten glanced towards her. "Just get the feeling something is going to happen." He told her. "I can tell no one besides us is around." He glanced towards her and moved over, taking the two rabbits from her. "Let's find a cave and get these cooking."

Adara nodded quietly and followed along with him until they found a cave "Here" she said taking them back "I'll clean them. you get fire wood" she said, knowing that with the bad feeling he had he wouldn't want her going out alone, thought he would not say anything

Dyten nodded once before he turned and headed back into the woods. He collected enough fire wood that would last them through the night. As he collected, he thought about everything that had happened over the past 20 years.

Adara was ready for him when he got back an dwent ahead with cooking the food. She was silent and Dyten would know she knew exactly what he was thinking, but she made a conscious effort not to bring it up, knowing he would bring it up when he was ready to

Dyten sat against the cave wall, staying silent for the time being. He glanced towards her after a moment. "Your birthday is comming up soon." He said after a moment. "Have you decided what you want for yuur birthday?" He asked, glancing towards her then towards the fire.

"Our birthday" Adara corrected. her parents had decided to call her birthday his because they were both only a couple days old when they found Dyten. She paused then shrugged "I don't really need anything. I have a great family and the best, best friend ever" she said shooting him a smile at the last part "So what more do i need? Unless you want to find me a boyfriend" she teased, sitting down next to him "What about you?"

Dyten shook his head. "There is nothing I want." He said as he crossed his arms over his chest. In truth, he would have liked to visit his birth father's grave in the falcon kingdom, but it was not something he wanted to do alone. But since he never went anywhere without Adara, he chose not to voice it aloud.

"Why don't we go visit your parents" she suggested after a while, hearing his thoughts and leaning against him "your real parents." she moved her hand to his and placed it on top "We can go together" Adara said softly

Dyten looked towards her. "But..." He hesitated. "I don't want to take you away from the family on your birthday." He said, glancing towards her. He never did refer to them as his family but never said they weren't either. He would simply say the family, as though including himself in it.
