"I...thank you." Kenneth stated before Andrea moved off. He then looked towards Kaida. After setting out things for them to eat he glanced towards her. "So how have things been for you here?" He asked.
Aiden moved to sit next her, laughing as well despite his own lungs burning from running and the cool air. "That was..." He paused not really sure how to describe it. He ended up shrugging and pulling her into his arms before he smiled towards her. "Thank you." He said softly before he pressed his lips to hers briefly.

Kaida shrugged "Dirty looks and whispers" she said, this being normal. Though the royal family was not being bad about it it was still a shock to the nobility to see so much of her legs but she refused to dress any differently
Azura laughed and kissed him back "Why?" she asked him smiling "You could have been running around all winter" she touched his face, knowing full well that he was usually more collected and reserved. She was glad that he was able to be more carefree when with her

Kenneth nodded once with a slight frown. He didn't like the fact that people frowned upon her just because of her kingdom's differing views. He held up a plate to her and raised a brow. "You could always come to Lumia." He responded. "The nobility there are more open to differences." He stated.
Aiden laughed softly. "You know I am not that type." He told her. "But...when I am with you I enjoy the difference." He brushed a few strands of hair out of her face. "Around you I don't want to be the collected and reserved prince that everyone has come to expect of me." He stated.
Even as he spoke to Azura, word was already reaching the castle of Aiden's wild run through town with Azura. Treva just rolled her eyes and ignored it.

"I'm at my cousin's disposal" Kaida replied taking the plate, the only reason she was Akrita being that she had been ordered to stay with Azura
Azura smiled "being unexpected is half the fun" she kissed him again "I think you should feel free to be whoever you want. But if I can bring out a side of you others can't then I'm glad for that too"
Violet laughed hearing them talk "and whenever I go running through town I have to stop and wait for him catch up. No fair"

Treva looked towards Violet. "Sometimes loving someone brings out a different side that even those you are close to cannot always do." Treva stated. "But the fact that the nobility is bothered by this makes me roll my eyes. I swear...at times they expect so much from all of you that it makes me sick." She shook her head with a soft sigh.
Aiden kissed her in return before smiling softly.
Kenneth nodded once, tilting his head slightly. "Why do you continue to follow his rule?" He asked. "It's clear he cares nothing about you and is simply doing this to torment you." He stated before taking a bite of a piece of fruit. Kenneth then looked up towards her. "What control does he have over you here? He made it clear he didn't want you there and does he even check in on Azura?"

Kaida looked at him"you criticize people judging and yet a so do you"she said, but in a mean was but simply pointing it out "making assumptions about a man you've never met." She looked out at the garden "what need has he to check on her.i am with her. Time passes differently in Avalon. There are no seasons to mark the passing of time. Our lives are so long such things have little meaning. To my people, Azura and I have only been away a short time. What are three years compared to the 111 she spent there?" She looked back at him"I obey out of loyalty to me people. The same as why I hold to our clothes. But also because Azura is my family. And she has always accepted and cared for me"
Violet laughed "I think it's just so different it's throwing them off. If dad ran through town they wouldn't bat an eye. It's just or if character for Aiden"

Kenneth shrugged. "Do we not all judge at some point." He stated. "But my point isn't the judging. It's sometimes you need to take time to do things for yourself. To find happiness for yourself and not worry about others and what others want." He pushed himself up. "If you care to much about what other people think and want you to do you end up miserable. Be selfish and find what makes you happy." He looked towards her. "Even if it means going against an order from someone who is likely to never know."
Treva nodded once.

"If i wasn;t going to stay here on my orders I'd go home" she said simply, not really thinking about it "But going home would be pointless because I'd just get in trouble for leaving Azura, and I'd be alone." She looked at him "I am here for Azura. I exist to serve the royal family, That's who I am" she said, that being what the king had raised her to be. She had gained respect from people in her homeland, not as a relative to the royals since that was the source of what had shamed her to begin with, but in her position serving as a tracker and almost bodyguard for Azura.

Kenneth sighed and shook his head before looking down at his hands for a moment. He then slipped them in his pocket and leaned against the tree. "So do you intend to remain single your entire life then?" He asked. "Simply to serve your cousin?" He looked out over the garden. "To remain locked here and never see the world. Never experience what love is? Because if so...then you my dear are naive, and need to learn what life can be outside the bubble your people have created. It is no wonder that your cousin craved and still does crave adventure." He leaned his head back and closed his eyes letting out another sigh. He opened his eyes and pulled out a gem she would recognize that could only have come from the fairy Kingdom.

Kaida looked at him steadily as he talked, raising an eyebrow "Do servants not fall in love and have relationships in your land" she asked "What does serving have to do with love?" she said, not letting him calling her naive bother her, rather she was somewhat curious why he cared so much about whether she found love or not "My father fell in love, and that's why he died. My father's love is what made me a pariah among my people"

Kenneth still looked at the rock as he spoke. "They do." He responded easily. "People are less likely to marry for riches or title gain, though there are those that do." He said softly. "But to me....love is worth the risk. Because if you truly love someone....you don't care what others think. You don't care because the only thing that matters is the one you love and you would willingly give your life to keep them safe." He took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "It wasn't love that led to what happened to your father. It was peoples demand for tradition." He said, sitting out tradition as though it was venom on his tongue. Part of the reason he was back in Akrita was because Sandra had insisted that he take some time away from Lumia after he had been attacked by thugs hired by a noble family he refused to marry into. It was a tradition his mother's family had started years ago when Lumia was still a very singular minded kingdom that focused on traditions. His mother had been saved from the tradition due to the fact his father had been of money, but when Kenneth had refused to marry lady Silvia on the stands that he did not love her and would marry who he chose to and would not be driven by tradition, Silvia's family had taken it as a slander and had hired thugs to attack him. Due to his ability to slip away easier then fight, he had managed to escape, with some damage, to the castle. He had recovered there until he could leave and had taken Sandra's advice to escape until the crown could deal with the attack. Tradition was a venomous thing to Kenneth. He tossed the stone up to Kaida. "Here."

"My father died because he was unfaithful to his wife. That is a bad things even here. When the girl, Violet got married. She vowed to love and be faithful to your friend for as long as they both live, or whatever. My people just add magic in with the vow, and make it unbreakable. If you are unfaithful, your life ends. Is it bad to take a promise seriously" she caught the stone and looked at it "What's this?" she said. She knew the rock but she was trying to figure out why he tossed it to her

The stone had been a gift to his grandmother as a sign of his grandfathers love to her. His father had received it and given it to Kenneth's mother. It had then been passed onto Kenneth recently. "Conskder it a gift." Kenneth stated. "I am beginning to see that you do not view me as someone you would be willing to grow close to, but despite that I still act the fool every time I am around you." He laughed softly. "Love causes pain, I will admit, i know that well." He turned to head back inside. "It hurts even more when the one you hope will see me as I see her is blind either blind, or to cruel to just say that she has no interest in me." He flinched slightly and stumbled before dropping to one knee as he held his chest. "Damn it to hell." He said under his breath.

Kaida examined it as he spoke "I barely know you. It's foolish to expect confessions of feelings" she glanced down at him "I am disappointed that you give up so easily though" when he fell to his knee she frowned. She moved and used her wings to float down from where she sat and walked over "What's wrong?" she asked, not sure if he was injured or something
Azura looked back at Aiden as they now walked through town, not really able to do much wedding prep while running about "Violet asked me what song we want to dance to first" she commented, having been thinking about it. She wasn;t sure, not able to decide if she wanted to dance to a song from her homeland or something from Akrita, a little worried that he'd feel uncomfortable trying to dance to their music

"You have known be since before the war." Kenneth gasped out slightly. When she moved over to ask what was wrong he managed to push himself up. "Nothing." He stated, shifting slightly. He could feel a bit of blood under his hand knowing that one of the more severe injuries had not been as healed as they had believed and had most likely pushed himself to hard. "And I never stated I was giving up..." He looked towards her. "That is something you should know by now." He smirked, using the charming smirk he usually directed only towards her. "But does it hurt to inform you that you are so focused on your duty that you don't seem to want to find what makes you happy?" He asked, going back to being a bit more serious. "Does it hurt to tell you that I don't have the luxury or time for you to get to know me the way your people do? Four years may seem like a second to you, but even to me, with the longer life spans because of my fairy blood, is still a lot of time. That's why people of this area date and get to know each other through those dates. We don't have the luxury to know every single aspect of a person. Heck....even my father who will most likely outlive me doesn't even know everything about my mother and they've been married for years. That's part of it, part of what can help keep things alive and interesting."
Aiden kept her hand in his as they walked, still a little bit out of breath from running. "Well....we could stir things up a bit. Teach me to dance to your favorite song, I know my sister would love it, and if it is what you want...then I am happy to learn." He told her. "I don't want you to have this wedding be based off of my culture here or in Lumia. The wedding is more for you, to celebrate the bride so it should, no matter what, be what you want it to be."
