Valeran stepped in after Dyten and closed the door behind himself
"Princess Alexia asked me to inquire about your sister's condition, m'lord" Valeran said, bowing to Dyten as he answered his question
Adara opened her eyes and looked up at her brother "well, My lord" she teased, her voice weak and cracking "answer the man" she smiled weakly

Dyten felt a growl escape his lips at being called m'lord. "I swear if i am called one more time, someone is going to loose an arm." He muttered. "As you can tell my bratty little twin is fine. And my name is Dyten, not m'lord." He turned and looked at Varen. He knew that Adara was already getting a play by play of what happened by reading his mind, so he didn't have to worry about explaining his attitude at the moment.

Adara pushed herself up "You got quite a beating because of me" she said looking at Valeran "I'm so sorry"
Valeran looked at her, his emotionless expression faltering "I'm sorry, M'lady, i don't know what you mean"
Adara smiled weakly "you hide it well, you're pain. You're sister is very lucky to have your loyalty"
Valeran stepped back then turned, swiftly leaving the room

"Adara....i would watch the mind reading around here." Dyten said, looking towards her. "From the looks of things....women are exactly treated equally here." He leaned against the wall after closing the door behind Valeran. "I have a feeling some interesting events are about to happen. one in paritcular is me probably going off on someone." He chuckled.

"Really. From what you just said about women i think i'm more likely to be the one offing someone" Adara smiled "And he won't say anything. " she pushed herself up but her arm gave out "i really should have listened to you about resting"

"And for once I believe I am the one that gets to say your favorite line. I told you so." He said, smiling. "Feel up to dealing with the hot headed King? He's gonna hate this one." He smirked before it disappeared as quickly as it arrived when he heard guards outside the door. A dark growl escaped his lips as he looked in their direction.

"Well can i get my health back first maybe?" she teased. She glanced at the door when he did "I'm surprised you decided to come here in the first place. But then again, she is very pretty" she laughed

"I didn't want to." Dyten assured her. "I really didn't have much choice. You were passed out and I would only have been able to fight back for so long." He stated. "How are you feeling aside from being tired?" He asked after a moment.

"My head hurts, the throat's sore, and i'm freezing, probably because of the fever. But it's not as bad as before. I should be ok, soon enough" she smiled slightly "I think we found the hidden city i wanted to look for though"

"Do you need me to make up something to help with the fever?" He asked. "I am sure I could get what I need here." He said, looking towards her. He would put up with any annoyance to make sure she was okay and comfortable.

"We should have the stuff in our bags right?" she asked softly "I want to get on my feet as soon as i can so your medicines are welcome"

Dyten nodded. He moved over to their bags and started to rumage through them. About twenty minutes later he held a small glass out to her. "Drink before it get's cold." He told her.

Adara made a face "I hate drinking this stuff. It's gross" she grumbled, gulping it down and making a face. "blah, Dyten, can;t you make this stuff better tasting, i mean really." she shook her head and put down the cup "Alright, let;s get into some trouble then"

"No, unfortunately at this time there is no way to make it taste any better." Dyten said shaking his head. "But it's better then being sick." Dyten held his hand out to help her up. "And trouble seems to follow us."

Adara took his hand and got up "Valeran was sent to check up on us because the princess is confined to her quarters. Prisoner in her own home" she said looking in the mirror and straightening up her hair
