"Jeez Dy. As stubborn as ever. I was falling, not landing. Falling. You must really hate this guy if it makes you forget the difference. Which mean....." she looked at Alexia and smiled at her "You must be why he;s putting up with your friend. I hope he;s nicer to you than he is to your friend"
"He's perfectly nice" Alexia said quietly "but aren't you...Queen Adara?"
Adara smiled "Please, just Adara is fine. "
She looked at Dyten "And you. You didn't exactly greet me either, silly. So how about meeting me half way here Dy"
Alexia looked at Valeran in confusion and Valeran just shrugged

Dyten finally let out a laugh as he scooped his twin sister into a hug and twirled her around a bit. "I missed you, Adara." When he finally set her down before turning to Alexia nd Avaleran. "Might I introduce, Her majesty, Queen Adara Drant, also know as my bratty little twin sister." He smirked before the emotion disappeared rather quickly. He looked towards Adara. "Wait a minute. Falling? And how the hell did that happen? What were you up to?"

"What do you mean by that? Can;t a girl fall without having been up to something. Sheesh" She said, leaning over and planting a small 'all too innocent' kiss on her twin's cheek before turning to the others "It;s been a while since we had pheonix's in out country. Welcome, Princess Alexiandra and to you as well Valeran. Thank you for the save. And thank you Alexia for tending to my boneheaded brother's injuries. Hope he didn;t cause you too much trouble"
"Not at all" Alexia said with a small smile "But how did you-"
"I'm a reader" she said explained before the question was finished
"A reader? really? I have never met one before. It is a great honor even more so, your majesty"Alexia said bowing
"Ugh, Please don't bow. It makes me feel like some big mean aristocrat " she said to Alexia
"Sorry"Alexia said "Umm...." she glanced at Dyten "You never mentioned she was your sister"
"it's because he's embarassed by me" Adara said with a grin

Dyten rolled his eyes. "No. At the time I did not know who you were so I simply remained silent. And if you had looked, you would have noticed the Corrington family crest on my ring. I never hid who I was, I simply never chose to state it aloud either. My sister's protection is my first priority. And until I knew who you were exactly, I had no reason to reveal who I really was."  Right as he said that he heard a rather loud, "UNCLE DYTEN!!!!" In the voice of a four year old girl. Dyten turned and caught the little flying child who acctually forced him back a few steps when he caught her. "WEll....Felicia is here I see. And hello to you Andrea." He chuckled, shaking his head a bit as he set the little girl up on his shoulder. "I'm glad you are back uncle D." Andrea giggled. Dyten looked back towards his sister. "So where is Davon and the rest of the faimly? And how is mom?" |

"Waiting at home" she looked at their guests "MY apologies for such a messed up welcome, but you understand"
"Of course"Alexia said with a weak smile "I feel the same when Valeran would return from a long trip"
Adara nodded, of course getting the story from Alexia's head "Shall we fly home Dyten, or do you prefer walking these days?"

"WAs showing these two the way here." He stated before spreading his wings. "Lead the way Adara." He said floating off the ground a short distance. He still had Andrea on his shoulder as he spoke. A smile rested on his lips a bit. "And don't tell mom I am home yet. I want to surprise her." He had the perfect idea in mind. "Oh...before I forget." He reached into his pouch. "I found your favorite flower." He pulled out the small rose head and handed it to her with a wink.

Adara laughed "You always seem to magically have one when you see me" she said with a smile before turning to their guests "Shall we?" she asked Alexia
Alexia shook her head "I can't"
"Of course you can" she turned to Valeran "Your mistress is tired, are you willing to put aside your pride for her sake" knowing exactly how she should speak to him to get what she wanted
Valeran hesitated "As you wish, your majesty" he said bowing
"Good" she offered him her hand "I assure you, i am an excellent flyer"
Alexia smiled and fiery wings shot out from her back. She stretched them out before taking Valeran's other hand "Shall we?" she said, before Adara and Alexia together took to the sky, lifting Valeran up with them

Dyten followed after the three, listening to Andrea chatter on about this and that. When they landed, Dyten moved over to Adara. "Mind getting this one off of me. She doesn't want to let go." And sure enough, Andrea had pretty much latched onto Dyten with no intent to leave him at the moment.

Adara set down Valeran with Alexia and turned to Dyten "Come here, Uncle Dyten wants his head back" She said, taking Andrea from Dyten and handing her back to her mother. She turned to her guest
"I hope you can excuse me fore a bit, my friend Risa will be happy to show you around" she said, motioning to a human girl who was waiting "I'll be back to welcome you properly" she said before grabbing Dyten's arm "Come" she said with a smile. "I want to show you something"

"Excuse me." Dyten said.
"Adara...can I atleast get my hug from my little brother first?" Felicia asked as she held Andrea who had started sniffling a bit when she was taken from Dyten. Felicia calmed her daughter down before setting her down. "Go play with your cousins Andrea. you will be fine. i'll come get you when dinner is ready." Andrea nodded and raced off to go find her cousins Jordan and Violet.

Adara nodded letting Dyten;s arm go so he could greet Felicia before flying up out of the castle once more, knowing Dyten would follow. When he did finally come out she tackled him in an embrace hugging him tight "Thank goodness your alive" she said, finally putting away the formalities she had strived to uphold somewhat in front of her guests and let her true concern show. Of course she had known he was alive, just as surely as he had known she was, but she had been unable to block all concern

Dyten hugged Felicia who managed to tell him that she was glad he was safe and home once more. He nodded and let her go before heading off after Adara. When she tackled him in a hug, he nearly fell. He held her closed and nuzzled her shoulder. "I'm sorry I had you worried. I would have come home sooner if I could have." He was glad to be home, and glad that his family had made it through safely. WEll...that was all but his uncle. He did not know if they knew about Jared passing during the war yet.

"You better be sorry. " she said pulling back and wiping a tear from her eyes. "Uncle jered died and we had no word from you...course I'm queen so there no way and can go look for you. Too important or what not. Stupid system. "

Dyten nodded once. "Who all know's about Uncle Jered?" He hugged her once more before flying back a bit. "I had to stay and fight, Adara. I couldn't just leave them to fight alone. Torrent had his kingdom to run and you were needed here. Politics has never been my strong point. I was more useful on the battlefield." He looked down with a sigh.
