Alexia was still shaking a little when Valeran took down the last of them with Dyten's help. He stopped once the battle was finished and gave Dyten a brief look of respect before rushing over to Alexia
"M'lady"
Alexia grabbed onto Valeran's shirt, still shaking "I'm so useless" she said quietly "My....my powers are stronger than your yet i freeze up and.. and.."
Valeran put a hand over hers "I would not want M'lady to dirty her hands with the blood of such men. I should have been more attentive" She smiled a little at him and knelt before Dyten again "You reopened your injuries" she said, her voice shaking a little "I'm...i'm sorry you had to do that. I was so....scared" she said, picking up the cloth again, "I should have been able to defend you without you needing to hurt yourself again. I'm sorry" she said, tending his his injuries again, her hand not quite as steady as before
Valeran frowned at this but said nothing

Dyten lowered his wings slowly as the shadows disappeared. Before she could help him, he fell to both knees. The strain of using his power over shadows had finally drained him. He carefully sat himself down, breathing a bit heavy. "I...must heal fully." He muttered soflty. He did not know why but he was trusting them to not harm him as he went into a meditative healing state. Before he did so however, one name was whispered from his lips. "Adara." With that name whispered, his eyes closed and his head slumped forward as he allowed himself to heal with Alexia's help.

When he woke he would be fully bandaged and a blanket wrapped around him.
Valeran and Alexia were not too far away. Alexia was laying on the grass, so would seem almost totally recovered from the incident, expect for the hand that she kept on Valeran's knee for reassurance. Valeran was sitting next to her, legs crossed
"Look, it's the goddess Fira" she said, pointing as a shoot star crossed the sky "Off to visit her friends among the stars. How grand it must be, to live up there" she said softly.
Valeran looked up to see the star cross
"What did you wish for Valeran?" Alexia asked
Valeran looked at her
"Nothing, m'lady"
"Liar" she said sitting up "come Valeran, we are family are we not? You can tell me"
"I am not worthy to be called your brother. I'm a bastard."
Alexia rolled her eyes and stood up "I wonder when Dyten will wake." she said, changing the subject since she knew it would get her no where
"He is already awake, M'lady" Valeran said, not even glancing Dyten's way

Dyten felt a slight smirk cross his lips when he heard Valeren's words. It, however, quickly disappeared as he opened his eyes. He stretched his wings and nodded once, glad to have full use of them once more. He finally pushed the blanket off of his body and stood, glancing around. He slipped his sword back into it's sheath on his back, made of the same shadow magic that had created the sword.
"Where are you headed? It is not wise to wonder these lands without a reason." He reached up and started to pull away the bandages that were covering what was left of smaller injuries. In place were simply a few faint scars now. He then looked towards Alexia and bowed his head respectfully, in thanks for her help in quickeing his healing, and for protecting him. He did not, however, show much respect yet to Valeran, as he had done nothing to earn it at this time. At least not enough to impress him.

"I am glad to see you're alright" Alexia said with a smile, bringing him a bowl of stew and offering it to him "We're heading towards the falcon kingdom"
"M'lady..." Valeran warned
She ignored him once more "The war made the humans restless and bold. My people had been allied to both your people and the humans for generations, so when the war started we did not pick sides" she said "The human's decided that if we weren;t with them, we were against them, and slaughtered our people. Valeran and I are the last of us. We were hoping we could find refuge in your lands" she said softly, looking up at him "I have heard great things of the falcons. Of the great king Matthew of Akrita and Princess Adara of the falcon lands. Or have they made her queen already? I heard that they were....sorry i'm getting off topic" she said with a small giggle "Anyways, you said the name Adara before, right? You were talking about the princess, right? " she shifted a little and bowed to him "I would be eternally grateful and in your debt if you would but get us an audience with her. I know you have no reason to help up but....."

"She is queen now. Or was known as such before the war started." He stated, shaking his head in reguards to the stew. "I will hunt later." He then blinked a bit when she said that he had spoken his sister's name aloud. "I might be able to, possibly." He looked towards Valeran. "That is if you do not might traveling with someone who is not exactly...unknown around these parts." He looked back towards Alexia. "And King Matthew's wife is the ruler, not him. He would even tell you as much. We should leave soon. There will be a swarm here soon as they retreive the bodies of the fallen. Or at least what is left of them."

Alexia straightened up "Anything you could do would be most helpful"
"How known?" Valeran asked quietly, looking at Dyten.
Alexia looked at Valeran "What?"
"He said he was know around these parts. I would like to know how known. Simply known? Or known enough to be more of a danger then a help?" he replied
"Don't be silly Valeran" she said
Valeran did not look at her but still at him "I am grateful that you helped when we were attacked but my first priority is to her safety."

"She will not be harmed if traveling with me." Dyten checked to make sure he had everything before looking towards them. "And known well enough that you do not have to worry about being safe when with me." He simply left it at that. "If you are ready to go then let's move." He turned to look in the direction of home, a slight smile on his face. 'Home at last.' He thought taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly.

Alexia nodded "But please eat, we have extra and it seems such a waste" she said as Valeran gathered their things. She set down the bowl near Dyten and went over to help
"It's alright M'lady, i've got it" Valeran said quietly
"Come now, let me carry something" she said with a frown
The frown seemed to bother him some so he handed her a small, light bag, which seemed to satisfy her
"Please, lead the way, Dyten" she said with a smile, Valeran taking his place by her side

While they got ready, Dyten gave in and ate quickly. Afterwards he turned and started towards home. He knew the roads rather well, showing he had been through the area many times. He knew it would be at least a day longer traveling by foot, but such was the case for the time being.
As they drew closer, he could almost feel his connection with Adara growing stronger. He smiled once more, but kept it where the other two could not see.

Alexia, after a while, left Valeran's side and moved to walk next to Dyten
"Forgive me for being so bold" she said quietly "but could i ask you something?" she said smiling at him
Valeran watched silently from behind, having not really said much since they started anyways
"Your wings are jet black. I hear that's uncommon for Falcons, am i right?"

"It is. There are only two at any time that have the solid black wings." Dyten stated, glancing towards her momentarily. "The same goes for white wings. A balance of good and evil. Or so it goes." He shrugged a bit, glancing back ahead. "King Matthew is the only other to have the solid black wings." He glanced at Alexia out of the corner of his eyes. "Why are do you ask about it?" Not many brought it up, so he was a bit curious.

"Good and evil? That doesn;t sound right" she said with a small frown "you aren't evil, from what i've seen. Maybe a touch grouchy here and there but evil? Nope, don't buy it" she said looking ahead with a small smile "And from what i've heard, neither is King Matthew" she looked at him again "I was brought up with only the basic knowledge of the actual Falcon traits and such. and since i spent all that kind staring at your wings while i patched you up, it stuck in my mind" she blushed a little looking forward "I'm sorry. I never got out much, so my curiosity wins me over sometimes "

Dyten shrugged a bit. "Doesn't bother me. Reminds me a bit of my family." He looked around once or twice before saying, "We will need to stop soon. When it get's dark here it is a little more troublesome to travel. We will get there tomorrow." He rubbed his neck once before looking towards the sky. He was wishing he could have flown there as he would have been stepping on the castle steps by now.
Shaking his head once, he looked towards Valeran. "Be prepared when we reach the town." He glanced around. "There will be some that are shocked to see me alive. Most thought I perished during the war no doubt."

Valeran couldn't help but crack a smile "Really? I would think those who know you would think you too stubborn to die" he said, heeding Dyten's warning though and moving closer to Alexia
"Now Valeran do- oh!" she stopped suddenly as they were passing a lake and ran up to the edge of the cliff facing it "Look Valeran! The sea" she said excitedly, her face lighting up "Isn't it beautiful?" she said.
Valeran walked over "Yes, M'lady it is"
Alexia tripped while trying to get closer and Valeran caught her before she fell off the cliff into the water "Forgive M'lady" Valeran said to Dyten as he set her securely on her feet "Our lands to not have such bodies of water"
Alexia laughed and looked at it "It's wonderful isn't it" she said, before turning to Dyten "are there many..."
"Lakes, M'lady"
"Right, Lakes. Are there many of these lakes in your lands Dyten?" she asked looking at him with excitment
