Chloe jerked away from Kaien and picked herself up off the ground. "That's right little girl I knew you couldn't beat me down." Said Terra with a smirk. Chloe snapped yet again. This time Terra had gone flying and Chloe didn't even touch her. Slamming into a pillar Terra flinched and fell to her knees. "That was a warning! Don't come near me!" Said Chloe walking off after that. "Lady you got owned." Was all Sidney said and Sterling nudged him shaking his head.
The two went after Chloe and found her sitting up as high as possible in a tree nursing her wounds it seemed. But Sterling nudged Sidney again and the two of them actually heard her crying softly. Both climbing up with a bit difficulty. Sterling and Sidney made it to the branch above hers and just sat there. "Chloe we appreciate you stuck up for us but we would have kicked her ass ourselves. I never seen you like this before are you alright?" Asked Sidney.
Chloe just said, "I'm fine and I really don't need to be seen crying like this alright? Now shoo the two of you please. "No we won't Chloe. We're friends right? Sure you may be older then us but still we're friends and we won't let you be in any kind of pain." Said Sidney. Chloe sniffled slightly wiping off her face. Both boys found themselves pulled into a hug suddenly when she was on their branch.
"You guys are great you know that. But seriously I don't know what's wrong with me. Usually such things don't get to me and lately they have been. I'm sorry if I worried you both so much." Said Chloe. Sterling and Sidney smiled. Sterling finally spoke up and said in a hoarse voice, "Just ignore that crazy lady Chloe. She's not worth our time or our anger." He winced and held his throat. "Easy don't speak if it hurts." Said Chloe.

Kaien looked at Terra as he shook his head. "Tell you... do you feel strong? Or do you feel weak... because in the end... its not how strong you are... its how strong are you and the others behind you. Keep that in mind Terra... a lone soldier... is a dead one... in this time of war." he said to her as he walked off.
He then went to see where the others went as he looked to them and to Chloe. "guys... come on down here please. And Chloe... please... come here." he said offereing her almost like a hug since he wanted to be close to her.

Sidney and Sterling both climbed down first. Chloe went to climb down too but the branch under her suddenly snapped and she fell with a startled scream. "Shit Chloe!" Said Sidney. He and Sterling both ran forward only to have her land on them thus breaking her fall. "Both boys let out a groan and Chloe winced her arm having got cut from a branch nicking it.
She quickly got off and said, "Are you two alright? I have never been so clumsy in my entire life." "Either that or you gained weight... Why else would the branch break like that." Said Sidney sitting up with a grin. He pulled his brother up. "I am not fat!" Huffed Chloe as she nudged Sidney in the ribs with her foot. She then went over to Kaien.
"Sorry about that... That woman just pissed me off." Said Chloe. "Yeah I think he's more worried how you almost broke your neck just now." Said Sidney walking up with Sterling.

Kaien looked to Sidney. "You have no idea how right you are." he said as he hugged Chloe in his arms and stroked her hair. "hey its okay... just because she's fast with her mouth doesn't make her right all the time... she was wrong to talk to you that way, and wrong with treating Sidney and Sterling harshly. if she continues it she will have no allies to come to her aid... or want to at least." he said trying to comfort her.
"come on... lets get back." he said as he walked with them holding his arms around Chloe as they walked.

Chloe smiled and nodded as they were walking though they stopped short when they actually saw Athena in the garden they were passing through. Athena was just staring at the sky like she was lost in thought not even noticing they were there. Chloe could easily see Athena was in some kind of emotional pain from the losses so far. She couldn't explain how she knew. She could just feel it. Pulling away from Kaien Chloe walked over saying, "Lady Athena is there anything I can do for you?"
Athena snapped out of thought and quickly looked and said, "Oh Chloe you startled me. I'm sorry what were you saying?" Chloe walked over and whispered something into Athena's ear and Athena just nodded but kept that same smile on her face. She looked at Sterling and walked over saying, "I heard you got hurt bad a few days ago. You healing alright?" "Yeah he's fine he's been stubborn actually." Said Sidney with a grin.
"Yes but I believe you to be the ore stubborn one. You and Tenma haven't been getting along." Said Athena with a smile. "Ugh he's selfish, annoying, a jerk and the biggest thick head I ever met!" Said Sidney fuming. "Hey I heard that!" Said the bush behind them. Tenma jumped out looking not happy. "Please don't start fighting you two." Said Chloe with a sigh. Sterling clubbed his brother across the head and said in a soft voice, "I'll be taking him now." He then dragged his unconscious sibling off and the two disappeared.

Kaien sighed as he walked over. "Its okay Tenma... your both to much alike... you'll stand firm and hold your ground to do the right thing." he said as he walked up. "Lady Athena... its good to see you. I'm sorry that you have to see and feel our losses... but know that we will not stop to fight the good fight." he said as he looked at her... she could see the pain of his past remembering the woman that made him into what he is today.
He went to Chloe and put his arm around her back and waist as he smelled the air and looked around. ~what more can we do... we have to keep fighting... will we have to result to going to see Chronus?~ he thought.

"Don't compare me to him! I'm nothing like that bird brain!" A shoe suddenly thwacked him upside the head and Sidney appeared there saying, "Come and get me smart ass!" Chloe suddenly vanished and appeared behind Sidney who froze. Looking at her he said, "Uh oh..." Chloe struck the boy in the back on his neck swiftly causing him to collapse out cold. "That oughta put him to sleep for a while. It appears his brother went easy on him." Tenma looked freaked as he said, "Man she's scary! Kaien are you sure that's your woman!"

"yes... every part of her from head to toe." he said. "and I wouldn't change anything about her... I love her for who she is." he said as he stretched. he looked and felt a spector close but in the house of cancer as he narrowed his eyes. "I have to head to the house of Cancer. I'll be back later." he said as he ran off.
Once there he walked inside carefully knowing full well there was someone inside... he didn't want to take chances but he had an idea who it was. "Dynatos... is that you?" he asked looking around.

Dynatos jumped down from the pillar he sat on and said, "Here I thought I actually did a good job masking my Cosmos. Even Athena didn't feel me. I even took the liberty of keeping my armor off and waltzing in as a civilian" "Actually I knew you were here the whole time.But you don't feel too hostile. Just to be in a lot of pain." Spoke Athena walking in.
Dynatos couldn't even look Athena in the eye as she came walking in. He wasn't expecting her to be this young let alone waltz in without more protection. "It's alright you don't have to hesitate in front of me you know." Said Athena walking up to him without any hesitation. She placed her hand on his face gently and Dynatos finally looked at her. "So why have you come?" Asked Athena.
"I'm sure you been receiving unsigned letters as of recent telling you what Hades has been doing or has planned but it's quite obvious eve with the heads up you lost quite a few forces. I fear I've been found out. The information has been false that I've heard. And I'm sorry for that. But I've come here for one thing only. And that is to open a path for you to attack Hades directly. His forces are few around the castle that much I can see. I ask you send your strongest fighters and maybe if anything we have a chance to take him out." Said Dynatos.

Kaien nodded and thought about it. "If we lead a strong enough force then maybe we can get a sneak attack in as well. Its time for Pegasus to take his road. Time for us to take ours Athena. Allow me to take Chloe, Sidney, Sterling, Terra, Kira, Katsumi, and any others willing to join us. Its time to go on the offensive now. And may be our only shot." he confessed as he tightened his fist. ~time to take a stand.~

"I understand then you all have my permission to go. But please come back safe." Said Athena with a smile. Tenma who heard this ran off to tell the others. After everyone had gathered. They went on the path to Italy. Dynatos was quiet the whole time. He knew he wasn't going to make it out alive but he had no regrets. And was determined to do this.
"Are you sure we can even trust this guy?" Asked Terra annoyed breaking the silence. "He's going to give up his life for us to make a break through and you actually have the nerve to say that Terra? You're even more horrible then I thought." Said Chloe. "Listen here princess. I'm very cautious in how I do things. I don't trust him. Oh and stay outta my way if we get jumped. I don't do the whole team work thing. " Said Terra.

Kaien just stopped right in his tracks as he heard that comment. He then looked back right at Terra and once she was close all they heard was a slap so hard that she fell to the ground as he stared at her. "You will do as the team says... or I swear... you will regret crossing me or my wife." he said as she saw his monstrous cosmo... he was a silver saint but something really had changed since his training... he was clearly at a level of Gold Saints... just didn't have any gold armor. It was scary.
Both Kira and Katsumi were shaking at the sight of Kaien... he was scary before but this his power was beyond what they thought as they went to Sidney and Sterling a bit frightened. "hey... has Kaien... been... training a lot?" asked Kira to Sidney quivering a little.

'You ass how dare you hit me!" Yelled Tera jumping up. She shoved Kaien back so hard he fell against the tree. She suddenly was grabbed by Chloe who slammed her into a nearby tree. "You listen here and you listen good! I warn you! Touch any saint or even my man like that for any matter! I will see to it you have your status as a saint stripped from you! And you'll be imprisoned! Got it!" Snapped Chloe losing her temper.
"Get your hands off me!" Said Terra pissed. "Would you like us to treat you as a hostage instead of a team mate? Now answer me do you understand!" Said Chloe not letting go. She was pulled off Terra by Sterling who said to Terra, "Get lost... you're not needed. You're going to get us killed." He coughed slightly still having trouble talking. He then pushed Chloe along gently saying, "Come on guys let's leave her." Sidney had helped Kaien up and they group carried on not even glancing back at Terra.

Kaien nodded as he went with them as they continued on. as they got closer the memories of Kaien's past started to come back and at times overwelm him. "ugh... this place... its forcing me to remember." he said as he held his head. Finally they came to a clearing as he widened his eyes... "What... no... this is Itally but... why does this place... look like the ruins of my old home." he said as he looked almost in horror... "is this an illusion?" he questioned tightening his fist.

The question Kaien had asked seem to be to no one as the others were gone. Sterling and Sidney were wide eyed as they saw their home town right in front of them. Sidney's eyes watered up as he tried to run forward but Sterling stopped him and said, "No... remember brother our home was over run by specters. It's not around anymore. It's an illusion...."
Chloe on the other hand was standing in the middle of a beautiful country side. She just looked around not seeing any of the others. A hand rested on her shoulder and she whipped around seeing Dynatos. "What is this?" Asked Chloe. "It appears you and I are from the same region. Whoever is doing this will show himself any time now." Said Dynatos.
