Barret nodded as he had the plan and spent the night hearing Marlene's stories. Xion was eager to learn everything from them as he listened in... then that morning Barret left patting Marlene's head telling her to watch over Xion... he needed it.
Xion on the other hand that morning was looking at Cloud's swords as he traced his hands over them... he felt he could weild any of them easily but he was afraid... because... he didn't know why he was capable of already being able to fight... with no memories whatsoever.

A hand patted his back and Cloud who had appeared behind him said, "Go on pick one up. Give it a lift and you'll see they're a little heavier then they appear to be." He smiled at Xion.

Xion nodded as he then felt one of the swords... it was the hardedger... the small but very sharp blade on both sides that looked like a paddle. He lifted it as he widened his eyes. "It is heavy... really heavy." he confessed.

Cloud smiled and said, "I told you so. Shall we go practice together a bit. Pick anyone to your liking and use it." "Feeling better Cloud?" Asked Tifa appearing with a smile. "Yeah much but you look pale a ghost. You alright Tifa?" Asked Cloud. "Morning sickness it'll pass love. You boys go have fun." Said Tifa.

Xion looked over all of his swords as he then saw one... it was almost like a katana but wider and heavier as he picked that one as he felt it. "Geeze..." Xion said in shock. he following Cloud trying to keep the sword from falling down. he was carrying the butterfly edge... simillar to the Sorce Stealer.

Once they were outside Cloud drew the blade he carried on him and said, "Alright we'll start with something simple. Just come and try swing that thing down on me. Come as hard and as fast as you can."

Xion gulped as he had no choice but to hold the sword like an axe from behind as he nodded. "ugh! okay." he said as he charged at Cloud as he then saw he was going to hack him.

Cloud just stepped to the side and Tifa came out seeing Cloud move and Xion lose his footing suddenly. She flinched as a loud crash was heard. He ended up tripping and knocking into the trash bins by the bar. "Xion you alright!" Said Tifa going over to him worried. "I don't get it. He kicked the asses of those two goons that attacked our bar back at the church. Why is it so different now?" Said Cloud with a sigh. Tifa heaved Xion to his feet and brushed him off.

Xion got up as he looked at his arms. "way to heavy." he said a she had to drop it. he then grabbed just an ordinary pipe that was half his height as he felt it. "much better... and easier." he confessed. "Can I try again?" he asked Cloud.

Hearing a whistle a sheathed sword landed by Xion's side and Reno appeared saying. "Try that on for size kid." Cloud noticed the sudden length of it and his eyes went wide. "Where did you get that?" Asked Cloud. "Think about Sephiroth himself used to be part of Soldier a long time ago. Shinra's responsible for designing such blades and weaponry so it's no wonder there's more then one of the blade Sephiroth use to wield. Anyways you better finish up. Reeve is on his way to talk to you here soon." Said Reno.

Xion looked at the sword as he slowly grabbed it and examined it. "its... not that heavy but... its really, really long." he said as he looked at it. He got into a 3 point stance with the sword up over his head. "okay... can I try again?" he asked to cloud... his stance was nothing like sephiroth's but this was odd. There was a strength omitting from him.

Cloud stepped back and nodded. Reno just perched himself against the wall and stood there watching. Getting ready Cloud just kept his eyes on Xion..

Xion quickly charged focusing on his speed from his legs as he slashed horrizontally at Cloud to see what he would do... He seemed to keep his feet balanced and able to react quickly.

Cloud stepped to the side and swung his own sword up. Reno threw himself out of the way fast as the blade was knocked out of Xion's hand flying toward him. A black car pulled up that moment and the sword landed on the windshield putting a huge crack in it. "Aw man Cloud you did not just do that. Well I'm outta here!" Said Reno not wanting to be around when Reeve got out of the car after that happened. "Your grip is too slack Xion. Not too tight but no too loose either. Otherwise well you see what would happen." Said Cloud.

Okay..." Xion said as he went and got the sword back as he held the hilt again understanding to keep his hands relaxed not tight.
Reeve stepped out as he looked at the windshield. "I swear Cloud... you know how to 'cut' it close." he said as he watched him train Xion.
