"Well if I could have done worse. Maybe blow a tire or two." Said Cloud. That moment a loud pop and a fizz was heard as the car went lopsided when a tire had gone flat. Tifa bit her lip but suddenly started laughing softly. "I'll go call for a tow truck. And arrange for a cab to take you back here in a few." Said Tifa going inside. "Xion I want you to go help Marlene clean. I need to talk to Reeve here alone." Said Cloud patting the kid's head. Cloud then said, "Come with me now please Reeve."

Xion nodded as he went inside sheathing the sword and leaving it outside as he went to help Marlene.

Reeve looked at the car in complete shock. "I swear I really don't know how you do that." he said as he walked with Cloud. "What do you need to know... hopefully you know enough about Xion... Personally, Xion could be a threat later... but, I trust you on this... So what is it..?"

"Aside from selling the Midgar ruins and letting Phantom get a hold of the Jenova information. What other blunders have you morons done? I'm sick of having to clean up after you people. My gut tells me that Xion is a man made remnant of Sephiroth but at the same time I can see he's innocent as a kitten. Innocent but deadly as you say. That's if he was in the wrong hands he could turn corrupt. I need to know everything about Xion. How he was made what he is all the above."

"Cloud we don't know much more then what I showed you." Said Reno walking up. "Oh really? How do I know you're not lying?" Asked Cloud. "Because the information on Xion was taken with the successor of Hojo's research. He's gone missing and hasn't been seen for over six months now. All signs point he went and joined Phantom. That's all we know." Said Reno.

What Reno says is true Cloud... but what I know is this... before the transfer of power was made to Rufus... President Shinra knew that the soldiers that were rebelling was because of a few things he didn't know... the Jenova cells causes changes but it depends on the one injected. What I do know a few times is that Shinra wanted to create Super Soldiers that could easily defeat Jenova strain warriors... or even those from Soldier... think of it as an army of Sephiroth clones with no Jenova cells... but they couldn't do it with actual people so... Hojo went to basics... making the cells from stratch and growing them. So... as a way to say, Xion is the very frist human with no Jenova cells... and the very first Super Soldier." he said as he explained.

"That's horrible. He has no mother he has no father... and he's just a test tube subject. "Said Cloud softly. "That's right he's a tool nothing more Cloud. I think it's time you let us take him back and put him under lock and key. If Phantom gets him back we don't know what will happen. You'll be endangering your unborn child and Tifa keeping him with you." Said Reno.

"I can't do that. What so you can kill him? That's not fair to him. You think he asked to be born this way? But you're probably right. I can't fight and protect him along with Tifa and my kid at the same time. I hate to do it but you can take him..." Said Cloud softly.

"You sure because if you are positive you can handle it we'll leave him with you." Said Reno. "Take him but you better not kill him. I'll fight to give him a chance of a normal life. I'll take out phantom and make him be able to live freely." Said Cloud.

[Lao]

Reeve listened. "I'll make sure he's kept safe and not killed Cloud... you can make sure of that... however, I want your permission to do tests on the boy... maybe figure out more about him to fill in the blanks." he said.

Cloud just gave a nod. "Give me a moment to go get him and to make sure he doesn't think I'm abandoning him I'll be coming with and hanging around for a few hours till he's at ease." Going back inside he disappeared. A few minutes later he came out with Xion. Reno had called up a worker for a ride. "Xion we want you to come with us for the time being. We're going to explain everything on the ride there." Said Cloud messing up the boy's hair.

OH, okay..." Xion said feeling Cloud pat his head as he couldn't help but smile. As long as Cloud was with him he would be safe so he thought.

As Cloud got in the car when it pulled up. He helped Xion in and once the car started driving Cloud said, "Xion listen to me. Starting today I'm going to be leaving you in the care of these two men. Those already agreed to make sure you won't get hurt. I'm sure you can understand Tifa is going to have a baby and well it's hard on me having to guard you and her at the same time. Some really bad people have been coming around and it's been getting rough. But I promise you I'll be by to see you when I can and I'll bring you back home some point eventually once this mess clears up. You understand?" Cloud looked at Xion hoping he wouldn't freak out.

Xion teared up. "its not because I did something wrong is it?" he asked hoping this change of things wasn't all because of him.

Reeve gave a look to Cloud as if to lie or tell him no it wasn't... they didn't want him feel betrayed or hurt.

Cloud just hugged Xion close and said, "Of course not buddy. We just want to protect you. It'll be alright me and Tifa will come see you every chance we get. Just don't start crying. You need to be strong Xion."

[Lao]

Xion fought the tears but was glad to hear that it wasn't because of him. HE sniffed a few times to stop some tears. "Thanks Cloud." he said trying to smile but he did like the fact that Cloud was telling him he wanted to protect him.

After a few they pulled into a fenced in area. The gates closed behind them. Getting out of the car Xion was helped out by Cloud. "So this is Shinra company the new one?" "You can say that.. We have quite a few facilities so we never stay in one place very long." Said Reno as he closed the car door. "Well I hope it'll be not too much like a jail for Xion." Said Cloud as they walked inside. "Lovely white walls." Said Cloud looking around shaking his head. "Welcome back you two and hello Cloud Xion." Said Juvia appearing. She had her arms full of files she had been organizing.. "You work here?" Asked Cloud. "Pretty much I'm Reeve's assistant. Just been doing some organizing." Said Juvia with a smile.

[Lao]

Xion just blushed as he saw Juvia. "h... Hi." he said as he couldn't help it but walked to her and took some of the files from her to help her. "Don't want you hurting your back... or having an accident." he said giving a shy smile.

"A lot like you when your were with Tifa back in the old days, huh Cloud." Said Reeve patting his back.

Juvia smiled and said, "Thanks you're such a sweetheart." Reno smirked and whispered toward Cloud and Reeve, "Is it me or do we all see puppy love?" Cloud actually laughed which was rare for him but he just gave a nod and said, "I suppose I should be going." He walked over to Xion and clapped a hand to the boy's back saying, "You take care Xion I'll be back in a few days to see how you're doing." Juvia smiled and said, "Follow me with those files Xion." The two of them disappeared down a hall and Juvia opened a door and said, "Now we set them on the table here."
