Three years had passed since the defeat of Sephiroth. Things were at peace around in the new town of Edge that had been built. Shinra seemed to be no more since the reactors were destroyed in that final fateful battle back in Midgar. As the sun was high up in the sky the sound of a motorbike was heard as Cloud was riding through the ruins of Midgar. He had just finished his delivery and wanted to get home a bit quicker then usual. Riding through the ruined city that held so many memories sad, happy, old, and new memories he kept his eyes focused on the path ahead of him. He was currently riding past one of the fallen reactors. Slowing down he ran a finger through his blond hair. For some reason he had an instinctive feeling telling him to go that way. So he got off his bike and turned it off walking in the direction that lead inside the reactor.

Inside the ractor it was just like how Cloud remembered it when he and Barret used to destroy these things... but because of the stopped production and the events of Meteor Fall some hidden passages were shown... but out of everything a single pod still running on what said "Stasis." in Blue letters as what appeared to be a young man frozen in time with mixtures of water, mako and other chemecials within that seemed to make this child or man stable but also unaged.
Right next to it was a terminal... trying to run but the proper code wasn't put in yet... it was like a recording that was stuck on a loop that just showed someone trying to fix the camera.
Inside this man was dreaming peaceful dreams but twitching as a vision of this long haired man holding a giant sword stood in front of him... not turning... it was as if this boy was in his shadow... but why?

Cloud was startled to actually find some part still running. Walking up his first thought was this must be one of the labs that Hojo worked in. He had no memory of what he and Zack went through at the hands of that man but he knew all too well due to what Vincent had told him. Walking back out he returned a moment later with his sword as he was going to destroy this before whatever it was fell into the wrong hands. Running forward he went and slashed through the test tube and he machines shut down. As the liquid was gushing out Cloud just turned and went to walk on out of the place feeling satisfied.

It was then that the pod went red saying "Warning Warning... Pod comprimised." and the door flung open... whatever was left inside came pouring out and the young man inside fell out limp as he groaned... unclothed.
This would trigger some sort of flashback of when he fell out of a pod and Zack pulled him out and carried him out of the lab... was he going to do the same for this boy?
The boy had black hair with white and grey highlights as he laid there groaning... he opened his eyes a few time as his vision was blurry and couldn't see well. All he did was groan.

Cloud froze that moment and turned seeing the boy laying there. Slowly walking over he just looked at him. Part of him was saying to kill him having a sudden feeling that he was a remnant of Sephiroth. Raising his sword he was about to bring it down but froze when he felt a hand on his ankle. Looking down he just was unable to. Whoever this person was he was sure they didn't wish to be put into this situation. Leaning down he picked him up and managed to find an old lab coat laying around. It was dirty but it was better then nothing. He wrapped the young male up in it and carried him on out. Cloud got on his bike with him in front of him and sped off making sure to hold him while riding back to Edge.

The boy when in and out of consiousness as he looked seeing the man holding him but would fall back out of it... his body was in a state of recovery... but from what?
He did get a good look at him and seemed to have eyes just like Cloud... they shined but his was unique... they were yellow... but as he looked to Cloud while riding on his bike he just saw him and just fell asleep.

Tifa meanwhile was wiping off the counter of the bar when the door opened and Cloud walked in. Tifa was surprised as she walked over and said, "Cloud welcome home." Seeing him holding someone she just said, "The back room you can put him there. Cloud carried him there and lay him on the bed. He then pulled the blanket over him and Tifa said, "Who is he?" "I found him in Midgar... I was riding through when something told me to go into one of the old reactors. He was in there in a test tube. I destroyed it and well I didn't expect him to be alive still." Said Cloud. "I hope you know then Shinra has to take him back." Said a voice behind both Tifa and Cloud making them turn around. Seeing the familiar red head Reno grinned and waved slightly. "The door was open so me and Rude just walked right in. "The only reason why I said that was because we're trying to clean up our mess. Why didn't you kill him? It would have been wiser then bringing him back here." Said Reno. "I tried to but I just couldn't bring myself to slay a defenseless unarmed person." Said Cloud.

Rude took out a comm unit looking at the records recovered from Hojo's experiments... he then was scanning through until he saw one... it said... project AS no name... no info.
"That's strange..." he said showing Reno.
As for the boy he then started to rustle because he was feeling odd... then he narrowed his eyes as if wincing... "s... stay away..." he whimpered. In his dream Sephiroth turned to him and was walking towards him. "Stay away from me! I'm not like you... I'm not like you!" he said in his dreams.
"But you are... I'm your elder brother... and you will do as I say... XION!" Sephiroth said as his eyes changed.
The Boy suddenly woke up screaming and shaking... "N... no... no no no no no no no no!" he said shaking from fear. "I'm not like you... your bad... I'm not bad." he said trembling.

Reno looked at the data and said, "That's interesting. He must have been something unfinished then." Everyone was startled though when the young male startled awake screaming. Tifa turned and walked over to him. "Hey be careful he might be dangerous." Said Reno but Tifa ignored that. Pulling the boy into her arms she seemed to make him go quiet. Stroking his head she said softly, "It's okay you're safe now." Looking at Reno she said, "And what would Shinra do with him if you guys take him back."
"Destroy him of course like I said we got a mess to clean up. Aside from planetary issues we caused to our world we also need to make sure no more of Hojo's experiments get out." Said Reno. "What do you mean more of them. What's going on Reno? I want answers now." Said Cloud. "Hurry up and tell him Reno. We don't have all day." Said a female voice as a woman with black hair and bright blue eyes walked in. "Who are you?" Asked Cloud. "Alicia Carter former first class soldier. Pleasure to meet you finally Cloud Strife. Anyways start telling him Reno." She said.
Reno sighed and said, "Alright Cloud I'll make this as point blank as possible. You might be in danger. How you might want to know. First off have you ever heard of Phantom?" "That new mercenary guild? Yeah they've become popular the last few years. Everyone knows of them." Said Cloud. "Yeah well as of late they been trying to merge with Shinra. What's even scarier if the fact they own nearly one third of the global economy. This take over begin a few years back just after the last fight you probably had. But somethings not right. They claim to be doing this for the sake of the restoration of our planet but in reality it seems like its a global take over money wise you following so far?" Asked Reno.
"Yeah but what's the point to all this?" Asked Cloud. "Let's just say we found out some very disturbing information about Phantom itself. They got a hold of the Jenova project Cloud. They hacked our systems and stole the information. Now we don't know as to why. Rufus Shinra is trying to look into that right now. Watch your back Cloud considering your actions back in the past you are a threat to Phantom. They're going to come after you. So keep your eye out for anyone or anything suspicious." Said Reno.

The boy did in fact calm down as he opened his eyes and relaxed but as he looked around he saw Reno and Rude. His eyes focused on them but then he got a flashback.
"This will make Soldier as a base program, President Shinra... with the data I now have gathered about the ancients and the Jenvoa project... we can create a new breed of warrior... Such as this one... Project AS... code name... Xion." said Hojo to Rufus's father.
The boy just freaked out and pulled away real fast and seemed to be huddled into a ball shaking in Tifa's arms. "I... Don't want to go back... I don't want to..." he said shaking hating his memories.

"Shh it's okay baby it's okay." Said Tifa as she held him close and rocked him. "He's like a little kid." Said Reno looking at the boy who was being held in Tifa's arms. He sighed and said, "Alright let's go Rude." "Aren't you going to take him?" Asked Cloud. "Nope as far as I'm concerned we never found him. And besides I doubt he'll be anything dangerous if you two take care of him. Now this conversation never happened." Said Reno walking out and Alicia followed. Tifa and Cloud were now alone with the boy Cloud had brought home.

The boy finally looked up seeing them gone as he looked around... He felt safe as he slowly let go of Tifa and relaxed. As he looked around he seemed to be be more calm. "T... thank you." he said to them.
He looked to Cloud and tilted his head. And did the same to Tifa. "Big Brother... and Big Sister?" he asked wondering.
He had another flashback of something but this time of a woman... with flowers all around her. "Huh? where am I?" he just looked at the woman puzzled and seemed to hear gental whispers.
Rude looked at the info then looked back. "You sure its okay Reno... Phantom might actually come for him... this kid, you saw his eyes right... they looked like... the nightmare." he said still shivering from those kids eyes... sephiroth's eyes were blue his were yellow.

Cloud watched as the young male fell asleep. He then said, "We should run a bath for him when he wakes up. I'm sure I can find something for him to wear." He was about to leave but Tifa stopped him by wrapping her arms around his waist. Turning he suddenly found himself kissed and his face turned slightly pink. Tifa pulled away and Cloud said, "And that was for?" It was obvious he had enjoyed it by his smirk. Tifa playfully elbowed Cloud and said, "Get serious will you Cloud. Oh wait you're always serious never mind don't take that advice." Cloud actually started laughing with Tifa. She then wrapped her arms around him and said, "Cloud I'm pregnant..." Cloud looked at Tifa wide eyed.
Aeris smiled and said, "It's okay sleep now. Don't be afraid you won't be hurt anymore."
"We'll just have to wait and see then won't we. Until then he's fine in their care." Said Reno.

The next morning Xion woke up and saw some clothes laid out for him... he looked at them then gladdly put them on as he looked in a mirror but then he noticed a numerical tatoo. he had the number XIII on him but he touched it. He remembered one thing... he was the 13th of something important.
HE walked out smiling as he felt his stomach growl. "I'm... hungry." He said blushing.

Marlene who was at the stove said, "Already on it just waiting for Cloud and Tifa to come out from their shower." That moment the kitchen door swung open and both Cloud and Tifa came in at the same time only to get wedged into the door way together. "Cloud move your big rear." Said Tifa squirming to get unstuck at the same time as Cloud. The two of them fell forward and Cloud caught himself and Tifa by her belt loop before she fell to the floor. Tifa laughed and stood up straight and kissed his cheek then said, "Morning Marlene." Tifa suddenly yelped jumping when Cloud snapped the towel getting her rear with it. "Cloud!" Cried Tifa loudly and she ran and shoved him back out of the kitchen. "You guys breakfast is going to get cold." Scolded Marlene. She sighed and said, "If this is how people act when they are in love I never wanna grow up and get a boy."
