Samuel stepped out as she knocked looking a bit withdrawn. "Lass." He said in greeting as he moved past.
"Come in." Sebastian stated. He was sitting at his desk going through some papers before sitting back and looking up at her.

Amelia took a step inside but stayed by the door "thank you" she said simply looking at him "it's been a long time since I drank that much, and then I was angry, so I almost did something stupid out anger and drunkenness and you put a stop to it despite the fact that it really was none of your business to do so. So thank you" she said simply

Sebastian nodded once. "You are welcome." He stated as he stood and moved around from the other side of the desk to where he was a bit closer. "I am guessing a long time of training to be able to handle the amount of liquor you did?" He asked her, having heard what Samuel said about how much liquor she had downed in trying to compete against him.

Amelia shrugged "I was raised by farm hands. Once i was old enough they took me to bars with them. That;s also how i learned not to let any man touch me when i didn;t want it" she smirked, knowing that most girls were too meek to react to simply being touched but endured it quietly whereas she would break the man's wrist "I was drinking with them since i was 14 and then after that i was sailing. And you know how sailors drink"

Sebastian wasn't buying the story but nodded once and just let it rest at that. "We will be leaving tomorrow so make sure anything you plan to get done gets done today." He stated, glancing towards her.

Amelia nodded then turned to leave but paused "do people really do that?" She asked looking at him "train to win drinking contests. I just thought they were guys that already did drink just normally that wanted to think they were tough" she shook her head then left

"Samuel did for a bit." He stated. "He has a naturally strong tolerance to it though." He stated, which wasn't entirely a lie, though not entirely the truth either. "He takes every chance he can to compete against others."

"I've got a natural tolerance myself. Never really had any problems. Guess it just happens. plus, hes a big guy" she then left to go get some stuff from town

Sebastian nodded once.
Samuel ran to catch up to Amelia. He walked along next to her for a bit before finally speaking. "Ya ain't fully human are he?" He asked only loud enough for her to hear. "And before ya freak out, I guessed due to da fact you drank just as much as I did and that be more then a standard human can. And judgin by a few other things you probably ain't thinking I am human either, at least not fully."

Amelia turned and looked at him steadily for a minute "I challenged you so I could see if my hunch was right. Sebastian already suspects so I figured you knew too" she said calmly, trying to gauge things "I was just confirming my suspicions with you"

She looked at him steadily "half what?" She asked curiously. She got the feeling he wasn't the same as her. They're were to many things he did differently, but at the same time she had never seen or heard anything that confirmed that anything other than what she was even existed

Samuel smirked, showing off the tip of one sharper then normal canine. "I am not a werewolf or any of the were creatures. And being half allows me to be I the sun." He stated. "And the whole thing with crosses and water be a joke." He laughed softly.

Amelia stared at him for a moment processing this "funny. I haven't seen any dried up corpses around" she commented, referring to the other thing people though of vampires "you're kind of a were something. Werebat" she smirked a little "so... The captain?" She asked, wondering if he were the same thing

Samuel shook his head. "Don't drain 'em." He said glancing towards her. "And cap'n keeps bottles on board for me so I don't have to worry about bittin. Don't like messin with that anyways." He stated with a shake of his head. When she asked about the cap'n he just smirked but didn't answer, knowing it wasn't his place to do so. "Ask him." He finally said.
