Sandra came back in about that point. "I apologize about that." She responded. She heard what Violet said and smiled. "Yes, it's going be a cold meal." She told her. "I figured it would be in order due to the heat." She stated.

Torrent looked up and got to his feet when Luther entered with his family
"How was the trip?" He asked the man
Luna was sleeping in Scarlet's arm

Luther bowed to the group when they arrived. "A bit tiring." He confessed.

Treva moved over and hugged Luther. "Glad you made it safely." She said as she looked towards Scarlet. "She's adorable." She said, having only met Lunda a few times. "She's getting big." She smiled.

Sandra looked over towards Luther and Scarlet. "Glad you three made it safely. Luther.....no business until tomorrow."

"That works for me." He told her. "Gives us a chance to settle in."

"Just to warn you Luther you might get approached by some people while you're here" Jade said looking at the man "There's a group out there that disapproves of Sandra taking the throne. They think that it should have been given to the Kings son" he said softly "I honestly think I am part of the problem. They don't mind humans horribly but there's still a little tension after the war with Evan's people all those years ago and now there's a human on the throne...."

Scarlet smiled "She's grown fast" she agreed "I want her to stay small forever but it looks like that isn;t about to happen" she seemed far less tired than Luther but the fact simply was that she had made the trip from Elendron to Lumia many many times growing up going from Ruby's house to her father's

Treva nodded. "They always do grow up to quickly." she said, glancing towards her twins then back towards Scarlet. "Enjoy it while you can."

Luther shook his head. "They will get the same response they always do." He stated. "I have no desire to rule the country and considering my start here, I am not the best choice. I have a better opportunity serving as the ambassador to Elendron." He stated.

Jade nodded "I knew you felt that way, just wanted to warn you that the group exists "

"I know" Scarlet laughed "The servants were whispering when i came in. Congratulations Violet" she said looking at the girl before looking back at Treva "I don't know how I'll feel when that time comes around. And you bring up the thought of Luna being married and having a baby to Luther he'd probably give you quite the look. He's just still processes having a child."

Luther glanced towards Scarlet. "I'll make any guy regret looking even thinking of asking to marry her." He responded, showing his protectiveness of Luna was growing with each passing day before looking back towards Jade. "Thank you for the warning."

Treva looked towards Luther in shock before looking towards Scarlet. "That was unexpected."

Scarlet laughed "That;s just because you haven't been around a panther father before" she pointed out "Plus the wolf side is protective too"

"Oh, I have." Treva reminded her. "I grew up in Lumia. I know how protective both parents can be." She stated softly before looking over towards Sandra then back at Scarlet.

"I guess but you haven't lived in Lumia for almost 30 years" Scarlet said. She also had heard the rumors about Sandra's father so she asked from that that Treva and Sandra's father had not been the protective type just like her mother had not been

"Yes, but I have visited often enough. " Treva said softly. "And no....my experience is not from my own father." She stated before excusing herself to take a seat, the conversation turning to something she didn't wish to get into.

Sandra glanced towards her mother briefly before looking towards Scarlet. "Feline mothers tend to be more protective from what I have seen. At least...that is from what I have experienced." She smiled. "But my mother is right...Luna is getting big. Please...have a seat. We were about to eat." She said, glancing towards Luther, deciding to change the subject completely.

"Hmm....before i became a mother myself i had never experienced the protectiveness of a Panther mother" she pointed out taking a seat "The opposite actually" she looked down at her baby "I find i can not even fathom my mother's mind... how come i can love this child so deeply, but my own mother hated hers" she looked at Luther and smiled "But the past is the past. Thank goodness for the loving families we all have now"

Luther nodded once in agreement.

Treva smiled softly. "Agreed. Sometimes it is hard to understand, but it is better to be happy and thankful for what we have now." She then looked over towards Sandra. "So are you busy the entire time we are here?"

"No." Sandra shook her head. "I have the council watching over things for at least one day while all of you are here so that we can spend some time with all of you during your visit."

"Luther, Scarlet, some of us are going swimming later to fight back this awful heat, want to come" Violet said with a smile
Luna stirred a little in her mother's arms "Swim..." she muttered sleepily
Scarlet laughed "I guess that's a yes" she looked over at Ariel "Which spot were you thinking?" she asked. Though she had not lived full-time in Lumia for a while she had visited at least once a year since she was five, excluding the last three years, so she knew most of the places around there fairly well

"The one out by that dense forest of trees. Out to the south of town." Ariel told Scarlet, not sure if she knew which spot he was referring to.
