Adara ate her food along with him striking up a conversation about the "monster" at the edge of town again
Torrent moved over and smiled at Ryu and Felicia "would you two like to join Treva, Sandra and I for an outing this afternoon"

Felicia looked towards Ryu then at Torrent. "I would love to if Ryu is not busy." She said, glancing towards Ryu. She knew he was in charge since the second was out that day.
Dyten easily joined in to the conversation, talking over some of the things they had found that could lead them to a better way of finding the "monster."

Ryu looked between then and sighed knowing he was needed by the guard
"Dyten " Ryu said interrupting their conversation "think you can handle being in charge for a few hours?" he asked the man looking over

Dyten looked over towards Ryu. "Yes." He responded. "Just running drills and sending out patrols. The general should be taking care of the patrols soon though." He told him. "Think Adara could help me with the training? No offense but she is one of the few that actually pushes me to do better." The only other ones were Torrent, Mathew and Ryu. Ryu because of his method of using tricks and advantages that most would not think of. Torrent because of his white falcon abilities and Matthew because of his years of experience and being a black falcon himself.

"Of course" Ryu smiled "keep him in line, Adara"
Adara smiled "we'll do fine" she said smirking satisfied that she and Dyten could handle it with the men "I wanted Dyten to help me with something sparring related anyways"

Dyten finished eating before looking towards Adara. "Let's get going then." He told her, ready to be back to work. He grabbed the dagger and dropped it off in his room before heading down to the training field to get back to work and to help Adara with the sparring related issue that she had.

Adara helped Dyten get the guard through the drills and out on their patrols before moving off to the side with him to spar. Instead of her normal sword she picked up too smaller training swords and she looked at him "I've been feeling like something in my fighting style is holding me back" she explained "So I want to try two handed" she smiled "And i don't want lessons or practice, i want to see if from watching you and with my own knowledge i can hold up against you" she said. It was strange for her to make such a radical change to her fighting style and even stranger for her not to practice it before fighting in a sparring match. She held up pretty well against Dyten with her single sword and fighting style but she had never defeated him and she was determined that she would become an actual challenge to him one day, someone who he actually could lose to

Dyten raised a brow. "This isn't like you." Dyten responded as he moved to grab two blades, which was his usual fighting style. Dyten had trained both ways and with a staff, though preferred two blades over one or the staff. He was not skilled in archery though, hating the bow and arrows. He took his usual mixed offense and defense stance, motioning for her to make the first attack.

"I know"she smiled "But something i was doing wasn't working, so i figured maybe i just need to be something different" she twisted the swords in her hands. Although she had never used two swords at once before she had made a point of practicing in sword use with both hands, so she twisted with her less dominant hand just as well as with her good hand. She twisted and made her attack. She fared surprisingly well for her first time using two blades actually managing to keep up with her usual pace with blocking him

Dyten kept his attacks up, never backing down. He was moving at his usual pace when fighting with Adara, pushing her as hard as he could and always looking for an advantage when she slipped up to knock her down, knock a sword out of her hand, or to win the match.

It took a bit but eventually he did win but Adara smirked "Well i say success." she said "Since this is my first time with two swords i didn;t expect to last that long against you" she smiled, holding her hand out for him to help her up from the ground

Dyten took her hand and pulled her up. "You did well." He said. "But you need to watch your footing." He stated. "You have to hold yourself differently and balance on your feet differently due to the added weight of the extra sword." Dyten put his training sword away before looking out at the sky. "It is starting to get late." He looked towards her once more.

"I think I'm going to get custom swords made. maybe something a little lighter. I still have to work on the footwork but i think i was slightly slower movement wise due to the weight" Adara glanced over to the side for a second "Looks like someone is waiting to talk to you" she said.
Eleanor was sitting over to the side having come out to watch the two of them. She had an embroidery project in her lap having been working on it while she watched

Dyten nodded. "May be best." He glanced over and saw Eleanor before looking back towards Adara. "Were we done?" He asked. "I would recommend not going with a basic iron sword if you are going lighter. Something stronger would be better to counter for the fact that it's lighter." He stated.
Meanwhile, a young prince was on his way to Akrita from a neighboring falcon kingdom going by the name Haven. He had sent word on ahead that he was visiting, his family and kingdom looking to gain allies among the human kingdoms that bordered their kingdoms or allied kingdoms. Akrita bordered one of there allied kingdoms so they were going to try and meet to discuss an alliance that would benefit both.

"I know swords well enough Dyten. Don't you worry about that." she smiled slightly "I'll see you later" she said, moving off to go into town to order the swords
When she was headed back she took the long way around needing to clear her head a little. She paused, catching a thought. Her eyes widened and her wings shot out and she took off
As the Prince approached the town, getting closer to the castle as arrow shot out, heading straight for him. Adara tackled him aside and the arrow whizzed past their heads just barely, actually scratching her cheek a little. Without missing a beat Adara got up and went straight for the source of the arrow drawing her sword and easily pinning the bandit who had made the attack
