Dyten shrugged before moving to get back to work.
The gift was a simple necklace with a sealed pressed flower petal inside. It was the petal of a black rose. There was also an engraving on the back with her name done in gold. Dyten had spent a decent amount getting this gift made for her, wanting it to have a personal touch of something he knew she would like. The box was wrapped in a black silk ribbon with a black rose carefully tied to it. Dyten had her lady in waiting place the box on her pillow when he got up that morning.

Adara smiled seeing and shook her head knowing Dyten probably spent a lot of money on it. Smiling she slipped it on and headed back out to the training field with it around her neck. She watched Dyten practice for a bit then looked down at her sword. Lately she has felt like something in her technique was holding her back from what she could do. Looking back at him she considered things as she watched his form

As lunch time rolled around Dyten called a halt to his group and saluted. He then moved over and put away his training sword. He stretched slightly before glancing over towards those watching, his eyes scanning for Adara.
Felicia was sitting quietly outside under her favorite tree on a small bench that had been built for her. She was drawing while she watched Ryu and the others train.

Adara raised her hand to get Dyten's attention and moved over "I claim you after lunch" she smirked "I want to test something out on you"
Ryu moved over to her and kissed her, then touched her forehead gently
"I'm really happy you're out here but are you sure you're OK?" He asked softly

"Okay." Dyten said with a nod. He noticed her wearing the necklace and smiled slightly. "Take it that you like your gift?' He asked. Once she answered he excused himself to go get something for lunch.
Felicia looked up towards Ryu. "I am doing a lot better." She told him. The fever broke last night and I was finally able to get some sleep." She said with a smile. "And it felt nice outside so I decided to come out and work on my drawing of Dyten to try and get it finished up. Easier when I can see him to ge the true angles that I need."

"Well you do know me better than most Dy" she pointed out. "I love it, thank you" she smiled heading inside with him for lunch
Ryu nodded relieved that she was feeling better and sitting next to her "I'm glad" he said softly "your art is so amazing". He smiled

Dyten nodded once. "I am glad you like it." He said with a smile.
Felicia blushed slightly at his compliment of her art. "It's no that great. The one who taught me is much better then me." She said, leaning against him when he sat next to her.

"We all spend our lives trying to emulate our teachers" Ryu said softly "rarely do we actually realize when we catch up or surpass them because of how we've remembered them" he looked over at her with a smile
"Wasn't really much chance that I wouldn't. You've never given me a bad present"

Felicia smiled and looked down before folding up her sketchbook. "Care to join me for lunch?" She asked him. "Most have already eaten, since you and the men usually don't stop till after everyone else has eaten." she said.
Dyten moved into the dinning hall and sat down as food was brought out for him.
Treva was padding along through the halls. She had caught the scent of someone where they shouldn't be so was going to check it out.

Adara sat down with him to eat as well
"Pardon the intrusion" a servant approached and bowed her head "lady Eleanor left this for you, sir Dyten" she said putting a box down in the table
Ryu smiled and nodded "of course. It will be my pleasure"

Dyten nodded once towards the servant before looking at the box then at Adara. He reached over and took the item, opening it to see what was inside that Eleanor had left him.
Felicia smiled as she stood up and moved to head inside with him. They arrived right as Dyten was opening the gift from Eleanor. She glanced towards Adara and tilted her head slightly.

Inside the box was a custom made dagger with a falcon at the top of the hilt with a small not saying thank you for him cheering her up and taking her for the walk  |

Dyten pulled out the knife and looked it over with a raised brow. "That was....unexpected." He muttered, surprised by the gift. He was not used to receiving such gifts from anyone aside from Adara or the rest of her family. He glanced towards Adara, curious as to what she thought of it.
Felicia smiled when she saw it. "That was sweet."

Adara shrugged not really reacting " she was grateful that you got her to come back and that flight was something I told you she excited about." She said simply
"Plus she asked when your birthday was" torrent smiled coming into the room " she seemed disappointed that she had missed it "

Dyten glanced towards Torrent and nodded once. He set the blade back down in the box and put the lid back on before he glanced towards Adara briefly, wondering what was bothering her so much. He shook his head before he turned back to eat, knowing that there was still much for him to do hat afternoon between work and helping Adara.
