Zack nodded once. "I figured she would go there." He said.
Astral blinked as she looked at Ava. she then reached out and touched her stomach and smiled. She flinched back and hid behind Zack when Chance walked up. "That one's mean. Grandpa said he is bad."
Zack laid a hand on Astral's head. "Not anymore. That is Chance. He's good now." He told her. "come on. We don't want to miss Lilah and Azalea's performance." he said.
Astral nodded and moved back over with Psalm like she was supposed to.

“this one is actually the daddy to the baby in my tummy“ Ava said with a smiled moving over and kissing Chance before sitting next to Zack “you and Lilah will be fine, just don‘t tell her why Zeus is keeping Astral from you. If she knows it‘s because of our Dad she‘ll feel like she‘s just putting Astral in more danger“
The curtain was brought up and the room when quiet. They went through most of the show, Lilah and Azalea getting the closing slot becaue Azalea was already somewhat or a celebrity at the school. The music started playing before either were on the stage, Lilah coming out first and Azalea coming i with her part of the duet
(Look up the glee version of “holding out for a hero“ and that‘s what i‘m imagining for this. Lilah being the blond one in personality and Azalea closer to being the brunette)

Astral looked down, trying to hide her head since she had already done what Ava had told Zack not to. At the end, Zack stood with the rest of the room, clapping for the two. When they all sat down, Astral climbed up into Psalms lap and whispered in her ear that she had seen Lilah and what she had told her before looking down, upset that she might have messed up her father's chance with Lilah.

Psalm looked over at Zack “Lilah knows about Mars“ she said simply “she believes that her being around makes Astral less safe“ she said, guessing that that was why Astral said she made Lilah even sadder. She paused “go“ she said to Zack, meaning for him to go back stage and take to Lilah

Zack nodded once and glanced towards Astral, brushing her hair from out of her face. He smiled at her before he headed towards the back stage. He made sure that he got there before she could slip away. "Lilah...we need to talk." He told her.

Lilah glanced over “No“ she said stepped over to him “we don‘t“ she kissed him “I care about you, but having me around isn‘t good for your kid“ she said softly “I‘m the type of person people avoid introducing their kids too, because I have a bad attitude and I‘m selfish. You don‘t need her exposed to that. Plus it‘ll put her in even more danger of Mars doing something. I‘m sorry“ she turned to walk away

Zack grabbed her arm and pulled her back. "No. I put her in danger with Mars because I was willing to get her mother pregnant at the time. You didn't do anything." He told her. "And from the way she was talking about you, She was extatic to meet you. She actually feels bad that she made you sad apparently." He looked her in the eyes. "I already told you that i'm not letting you go Lilah." He smirked. "So don't think you are gonna get away that easily. We'll get through things together."

“I‘m the one who has to live with it if something happens, Zack!“ Lilah said looking at him “I‘m a terrible inflence for a child and you know it and the fact that you‘re protecting me will make Mars want to hurt you even more. I‘d rather hand myself over to Mars then let you or that kid get hurt for me“

"For the fact that you are willing to sacrifice yourself for a child you have met once makes you a good influence, not a bad one." he stated. "And she is living with Psalm now. Mars would be an idiot to try to take her from there." He pulled her closer and wrapped his arms around her, not letting her get away from him. "Besides...you were right. It is my responsibility to take care of her, not anyone else. if that means her living with someone else that I can trust, then that is what I will do. And my father won't let anyone hurt her. The girl has him wrapped around her finger. If things get to bad, i will take her home to him. He will keep her safe." He pulled her face up towards his. "Don't leave me Lilah."

Lilah still hesitated a little.
Azalea walked by humming a little of the song they had just sung before leaving the area completely
Lilah let out a sigh "Oh screw it" she said, throwing her arms around his neck and kissing him deeply "I'm too selfish to keep arguing" she muttered against his lips

Zack smiled and held her closer to him as he kissed her back. He spun her around a bit, happy that she had given in. When he pulled back from the kiss he looked at her with a smile. "Now...please don't freak out on me, but... Astral want's to talk to you." He said. "She's right outside the door."

"Nope" she pulled away "No, no, no. I can;t do that. I don't know how to treat kids. I can;t just randomly talk to her, I'm not ready for that" she said looking honestly anxious at the thought "I'd rather talk to Mars, because at least i know i can;t make things worse with him"

Zack laid a hand on her shoulder. "Lilah...calm down." he said softly. "Talking to Astral is like talking to your sister. But if you want to wait we can." he said softly. "AS I said, she is living with Psalm now so I will be able to at least see her a bit more often." He shook his head slightly. "Anyways...you were amazing earlier." He leaned over and kissed her softly.

"I'm terrible to my sister" She said looking at Zack. She kissed him back "Thanks" she sighed "Bring her in, might as well get it over" she said begrudgingly "But don't get mad at me is i say the wrong thing or if she hates me"

Zack nodded once. "I don't think you will upset her as easily as you think." He stated but simply moved over to let her in.
Astral came into the room slowly and glanced towards Lilah. "I am sorry I upset you earlier, miss Lilah. I didn't mean to. I just wanted you to know that Daddy wasn't at fault for me not living with him, and why Grandpa was controling where I lived at the moment."
