As Azalea had pointed out, it was not common knowledge that there were issues between him and Lilah right now, everyone wonedring what Lilah was doing and not realizing that she and Zack hadn;t spoken all weekend

Zack eventually pushed himself up and headed outside. He was hoping to talk with Lilah, but it seemed to him, like she was still trying to avoid his presence. Finding ways to stay away from him. He leaned against the side of the building and closed his eyes. "I should have just told her at the start." He muttered to himself. "It was stupid of me to keep it from her but it was for Astral's safety as well. I couldn't bear if anything happened to her." He muttered to himself.

Lilah walked outside for a minute, not realizing he was there and let out a sigh. When she noticed him out of the corner of her eye she jumped in surprise

Zack opened his eyes and glanced towards Lilah. "Hi." he said, looking towards her then down. "Ready for the talent show?"

Lilah rolled her eyes and flicked her hair over her shoulder “of course“ she said confidently “i could have gone in without practicing and still one this thing hands down“ she said with her typical confidence

Zack nodded once as he glanced towards her. "Just like with your chearleeding." he stated. "Astral is living with Psalm now." He told her. "She is going to be here shortly. She wanted to see you and Lilah sing."

Lilah paused, caught off guard by this and shook her her head “That‘s ...“ she didn‘t know how to react to this. She had been prepared to make up with Zack but the idea of meeting Astral that day totally threw her. She turned and ran back inside. Finding an empty classroom she leaned against the wall and sank to the floor trying to process this all. She had never so much as talked to a child since she was that age herself

Zack smacked his fist against the wall. What he didn't realize was that Astral was already there.
Astral was coloring in the nearby corner of the class room. She looked up when Lilah came in. She tilted her head slightly. "Hi." She said softly, blinking. "I'm Astral." She smiled sweetly at her.

Lilah tensed instantly not knowing how to react to the girl “go find your father“ she said turning her head away from the child “he‘s probably very sad right now“

"so are you though." she said, tilting her head as she stood up and set her things aside neatly. She blinked before asking, "You are singing with Azalea?" She asked as she moved over, still staying a short distance from Lilah. "Daddy realy loves you. He kept trying to call you. I am sorry that I made you two fight." she bit her lower lip. "He didn't want to keep me from you. Grandpa made him to keep me safe from uncle Mars and the others that would use me to hurt daddy. Grandpa said it was for my own safety."

Lilah kept her head turned hiding the tears that were starting to come to her eyes “then maybe i shouldn‘t be with your daddy“ she said quietly “because as long as I‘m with him Mars will an even greater threat to you“

Astral finally moved over and reached out, brushing away the tears. "You love my daddy though. And he really loves you." she stated, kneeling down in front of Lilah. "If you love him you should be with him. I am living with aunt Psalm down so I will be okay. She won't let anyone hurt me." She stated softly. "Please...don't give up on my daddy. He didn't mean to hurt you. He really does love you."

Lilah flinched a little at the girls touch and got up, leaving the room.
Azalea found her back stage getting ready. She noticed something was wrong and frowned “are you ok?“
“we aren‘t friends, stop pretending we are“ Lilah said simply “let‘s just win this thing and get it over with“
Psalm stepped into the room where Astral was “come“ she said in her normal soft voice, offerinf Astral her hand “let‘ s go find your dad“

Astral nodded, looking a bit upset by Lilah leaving. She took Psalms hand and walked with her.
Zack was waiting outside the room where the show was to be held. when Astral saw him he went running over. Zack picked her up and spun her around, smiling slightly. "You been enjoying your stay with Psalm?" He asked her.
Astral nodded once and said, "She let me decorate my room and I get all sorts of goodies." she said, smiling. "I got to meet Lilah. She was sad though. I think I upset her more." She said as Zack set her down and took her hand.
"You didn't do anything, Astral. I messed up." He ruffled her hair before glancing towards Psalm. "Has she been doing good?"

“you realize Lilah‘s never been around kids before in her life, right?“ Ava said walking over “she was probably afraid of doing something wrong“ Ava smiled at Astral “I‘m Ava, Lilah‘s sister. Nice to meet you Astral“ she glanced at Zack “Lilah was at my place all weekend“
