Adara was gone longer than she would have liked. When she got back with the herb she ran over to check Dyten in a panic, praying that she hasn;t been gone too long for him

Dyten was laying on his back, his head propped up by his shirt. He had removed it, trying to get cool, with little success. His body was tense and he was whispering Adara's name along with, surprisingly, Matthew and Alera's names on occasion. He sounded like he was in fear of something and in pain.

Adara rushed to prepare the herb into a salve and smeared it over the bite, hoping she had gotten the right one then grabbed his hand "Hang in there Dy" she said softly

About four hours later, Dyten's body relaxed and his breathing evened out. He still had a bit of a fever, but it had gone down quite a bit compared to what it used to be. He was not out of the woods yet, however.

Adara gave Dyten a tea to drink that helped him sleep and relax and when he woke up he was back in Akrita and Adara was sleeping with her head on his chest and his wound had been treated by the doctors in Akrita and patched it up properly

Dyten looked around, a bit startled to realize they were back in Akrita. He pushed himself up slowly, but instantly regretted to movement when the room started to spin. He took a deep breath and let it pass before looking down to see Adara. 'She stayed with me.' he thought, looking away. Something felt different when he looked at her.
The one thing that had run through his mind the entire time he had been sick was the he was going to loose her. And that tore at his heart. Adara ment everything to him but when he looked at her, he realized that he didn't just see her as a sister. She had always been there for him through everything and honestly...he felt more for her. HE shook his head slightly after a moment and glanced down at the blanket that covered him.

Adara shifted a little in her sleep and muttered his name quietly
"You've been asleep for about a day" Torrent Corrington, Adara's older brother, was leaning against the doorway, smiling "She hasn;t moved from that chair the while time. Not even to eat. She stayed away the whole time too, she's only been sleeping for about 20 minutes now" he walked in and put a hand on Dyten's shoulder "Good to see you;re alright by the way"

Dyten glanced at Torrent and then away. "I shouldn't have been out for so long." He frowned as he looked down. He was berating himself for leaving her alone for so long. He clenched his hands slightly before glancing towards Adara. "She's going to end up making herself sick."

"Adara drugged you to help you sleep, from the smell in the cup i think she made it a little strong" he said with a slight smile "but it was an impressive attempt. Especially since she never paid attention in our herbology classes" he leaned against the wall "and don;t worry. She didn't leave to eat but i brought her food"

Dyten stayed silent, but the confusion in his eyes was evident. He glanced towards Adara then towards Torrent after a moment. "Is there any way you can get her to sleep in her own room? she will rest better there, then being stuck here with me."

Torrent held up his hands and shook his head "Not a chance. If you want to wake her up and tell her to go be my guest. I suggested that she go and let me sit with you but she almost bit my head off. "

Dyten acctually laughed softly at Torrent's words. "I could imagine that." He said after a moment. He finally looked towards Adara. He reached a hand out and gently ran his fingers through her hair. "SHe probably already know's I am awake."

Torrent gave Dyten a particular look when he did this "Something's different" he said simply with how Dyten was acting towards Adara "Can;t put my finger on it, but something is different"

Dyten glanced at Torrent out of the corner of his eyes then back at Adara. He finally rested his hands in his lap and leaned back against the headboard. "Just realized something finally." Dyten stated looking towards the shadows in the room. They shifted slightly as he watched them before he finally glanced towards Torrent. "How is the rest of the family?"

"Mom spent a lot of time in here sitting beside you as well, but she actually did get self sick so she;s upstairs in bed" Torrent answered "Dad was with her last i saw. Felicia's somewhere" he said glancing out the door "She didn;t really tell me where she was going..."
"And Torrent's been driving the doctors crazy by double checking all their work with the herbs for your leg" Adara muttered grogily, sitting up
