Alyssa glanced at him and got up from the tree, walking over and shoving a large knife into his hands "use this. The one you have is dull garbage. You'll be killed for sure" she said bluntly. Her way of showing concern for him but trying not to seem emotional and weak

Scion laid his hand over her's that hand the blade in it. As he gripped it and her hand he pulled her close and wrapped his arm around her, pinning her against him with the blade held out to the side. He then leaned in and kissed her deeply, his way of showing how much he was going to miss her, despite everything else.

Alyssa kissed him back forcefully, causing him to take a step back. When they pulled back she looked at him for a minute then pulled away, leaving the knife with him and began to walk away. Then she paused and gritted her teeth "Scion" she said looking back, using his name rather than calling him Eyepatch for once. She looked at him then hesitated, seeming to change her mind about what she was going to say to him "Don't die" she said simply, turning back away

"I love you to." Scion said with a slight smile, feeling a bit more relaxed then he had in the past few days. He gripped the dagger she had given him before slipping it into his boot and moving on. It would be a bit longer journey then he was used to, having to move slower due to his injury and being unable to shift forms as easily.

Alyssa rolled her eyes and walked back to town. When her mother came out of the house later that day she'd find Alyssa laying on the front lawn staring at the sky blankly, not sure what to do with herself

Lynessa saw Alyssa and moved over. "Missing them?" She asked with a soft smile. "I was thinking...how about we head to my old home?" She suggested, looking towards Alyssa. "We can leave tomorrow. Your aunt said she would travel with us since your uncle and Reign are gone."

"Just extra backup." Lynessa responded. "Never hurts to have another sword. But if you do not wish her to come I will let her know it will just be the two of us to go then." Lynessa stated.

Alyssa sat up and glanced at her mother then shrugged "As long as we're back before Tempest" she said simply, not wanting the boy to return home to find her not there

"Alright." She said. "Let me go let your father know. We will leave first thing tomorrow morning then." She said with a soft smile. She leaned over and kissed her daughter's forehead before pushing herself up, dusting her skirt off and moving inside to let Razik know.

Alyssa watched her mother go inside then shrugged and got to her feet, ready to go whenever
Their trip went smoothly, Lynessa's homeland was abandoned expect for the stray bandit who was easily handled. Winter set in deep and heavy that year, the snow coming down hard.Alyssa spent most of the winter with Tempest.
It was starting to get warmer, well into spring. Orion was walking and talking to Onxy and Serenity coming back into Elendron from a hunting trip they had gone on, passing out of the woods by Scarlet's house since she had allowed them to hunt on the lands there.
"When will baby come?" Castalia demanded looking at Alyee's large stomach. She had been waiting impatiently for this baby everyone kept talking about and was getting more and more annoyed as time passed that the child had not shown up yet and was making her wait. She squirmed as Adara held her so the seamstresses could measure her for her new dress, enjoying fittings about as much as Dyten did. The castle was a bustle getting ready for Adara and Dyten's Birthdays again this year

Aylee laughed as she rubbed her stomach. The baby kicked which caused her to flinch slightly before she looked towards her mother. "Now I know why women always complain about their ankles and feeling fat." She said with a laugh as she glanced towards her little sister. "The baby will be here when he or she is ready." She stated with a smile.
Serenity tilted her head slightly as she listened to Orion before pausing. "Visitor." She stated turning towards Orion.
A lone black wolf came padding into the area looking like it had traveled a fair distance. The only thing that gave away who it was happened to be the white patch around the wolf's right eye revealing it to be Scion. As he neared the three he shifted forms, looking much calmer, and a bit more fit then he had been before he had left. Most of the winter had been spent chopping wood, training, and doing anything to get him through his injury and everything he had been dealing with. He had intended to go home sooner, but the winter had left him stranded at his adoptive father's home, so he had made the best of it. However, he was happy to be home. He had missed his sister, his word, and most especially, he had missed Alyssa.

"Should get ready faster" Castalia grumbled "Mommy makes me get ready faster" she mumbled.
Kenna laughed coming in "I swear, honestly. A miniature version of Dad" she said, looking at Castalia "The baby is still growing in her tummy. It needs to grow big enough that i can live outside of her"
Orion smiled seeing Scion and looked at the two "Head back. I'm going to talk with him a bit" he said to the other two before moving off towards Scion "Welcome back" he said, raising a hand in greeting as he approached Scion "How was your trip?"

Aylee laughed softly before flinching again. "I don't know after the way this one is kicking I think I would be quite happy for it to be on the outside." She said, rubbing the base of her ribs. "I swear he or she is going to end up breaking my ribs." She glanced towards her twin. "How are things with you?" She asked, having been stuck in bed for a day or so, so she had not gotten to see Kenna to much.
"Okay." Serenity said as she turned to Onyx, letting her lead the way.
Scion bowed his head slightly in greeting. "It was longer then intended." He stated. "But otherwise good. My little sister has grown. Was asking a lot about Alyssa and everyone here."

"I'm good. You know me, There's been a party to plan so I've been keeping myself entertained" she smiled cheerfully "Are you feeling any better?" she asked, moving over to her sister "I saw they finished your dress. It's beautiful"
Orion nodded "Yes, well that's understandable." he said his face slightly serious now "I was honestly surprised you didn't come back sooner. Though really the incident with your shop has been all that has happened while you were away" He said, looking in the direction of town, obviously thinking Scion knew what he was referring to
