Seth shook his head and moved off.
Scion sighed and moved to grab a shirt before following after Alyssa. "Alyssa..." He called trying to catch her attention.

Alyssa climbed into one of trees in the yard and laid back. She knew scion would follow and didn't go far but up in the tree she felt less cornered than she had inside with Scion and seth both there looking at her

Scion moved over and leaned against the base of the tree with a sigh. "I am sorry I didn't tell you sooner." He said. "I just....I need some time to clear my head and being around here isn't helping with that. I wish you could come with me but...this is a trip I need to make alone. At least this time."

"I get it" she said simply, staring up at the top of the tree. She understood why he wanted to go home, everything going on had been a little overwhelming for all of them, though she didn't get why he had to leave now, and before Tempest was back "why would I want to go?" She asked blankly, wondering why he even thought about that

"A chance to get away from everything." Scion told her as he glanced out at the sky. "I was going to try and hold out until Tempest and the others returned but..." He sighed. "I have been fighting shifting forms lately. Had it happen last night finally which is what kept waking me up. I don't want to risk hurting anyone because of it." What he was worried about was that he would hurt someone of he lost control because of being driven by emotion.

"you can do whatever you want" Alyssa said simply "why should I care?" She was now digging her claws into the branch she was on. She got to her feet suddenly and jumped down "just be careful" she said crossing her arms and leaning against the tree trunk

Once again Alyssa was at a loss not knowing how to act now. She pulled the stuffed animal from her skirt pocket and looked at it blankly before replacing it in her pocket and moving up into the tree again

Scion opened his eyes as she climbed up into the tree again. He to was at a loss for what to do at that pint. HE had never been faced with such an issue before but he knew that he was no good to her with his head being such a jumbled mess as it was. With a sigh he pushed himself up to move back towards the house. "I am sorry, Alyssa." He said, just loud enough for her to hear before he moved off. The next morning would find him up early and packed to leave. His body was tense, having not slept to well again the night before. His skin prickled, his injury hurt, and he had his eye covered to keep it from being affected as well, as his control was so edgy.

Alyssa watched him leave but said nothing. Later she went hunting with Seth as the had arranged but said nothing really to him the entire time, simply moving with him through the wood with practiced ease, the two of them not needing to speak even one word to work together and hunt.
She went back to town again for the night but didn;t sleep, she just stared at the ceiling all night long.
Scarlet was there to see Scion off since he had decided to go that morning. She looked around as he was getting his stuff together, a little confused. "Where is Alyssa?" she asked, not to anyone in particular but more talking to herself, not understanding why she wasn't there to see Scion off

Scion frowned. "Not coming." He stated as he grabbed his bag. "I should get going." He said with a slightly frustrated sigh. "It's going to be a long trip and with me by myself I'll have to be more careful then usual." He responded. "I'll see you later, sis." he stated, glancing towards Scarlet.

"Why wouldn't she come?" Scarlet asked looking at him. She sighed and shook her head "You two make no sense to me" she moved and hugged him before he could go "Be careful. You're still injured and travelling alone....it's really dangerous. Try not to get yourself killed"

"Because everyone that she truly opens up to is either gone or leaving." Scion stated. He knew Scarlet understood why he was leaving though, so he didn't bother explaining himself to her. "I'll be fine." He assured her. "Take care of yourself." He kissed her cheek before heading out towards Lumia.

"I've got Luther and Seth watching out for me, I think I'll be fine" Scarlet smiled slightly, watching her brother leave
As he was travelling down the road he'd see Alyssa leaning against a tree a little farther down the trail, her arms crossed, her expression a little irritated but she was there and waiting
