Dyten let out a breath he did not even realize he had been holding and relaxed. "Not funny." he said, looking towards her with a slight smirk on his lips. He moved both his sheaths, with the blade's in them, to rest at his side before pushing himself up and stretching.

Adara was strangely quiet while she worked on his food, cleaning the rabbit she had caught while he was sleeping and frying it up with some vegetables. She eyed the wood pile that was getting smaller then looked back at what she was doing, deep in thought

Dyten looked towards Adara. "What is wrong?" He asked, also noticing how small the wood pile was getting. "You are not usual this quiet." He turned to fully face her. Dyten crossed his arms and waited for a response as he watched her clean and cook the rabbit.

"Just tired i guess" she said, stirring the meat "what kind of vegetables would you like with your rabbit?" she asked, glancing at him "We have carrots and brussle sprouts " she said "Or i think we have lima beans as well"

"You know I can't stand the last two." Dyten said glancing towards her. "Fire wood is getting low. I'll be back with more." He moved to the entrance of the cave, frowning at how heavy the rain was. With a shake of his head he slipped out into it, knowing she would be safe in the cave. He moved quickly through the woods, finding what wood he could that would work for keeping the fire going.

When he got back the food would be ready and she was leaning against the cave wall again reading her book, though the main thing that changed was the unconscious man hogtied near the door. "He came in to rob me" Adara said to Dyten not looking up from her book, not sounding the least bit worried about any of it "Don't get angry though" she said, now glancing up "all he was really after was the food and some dry clothes. He;s not a bandit. Just a poor hungry sucker that got stuck out in the rain"

Dyten glanced towards the unconcious man then back at Adara before moving over and setting the wood aside. He shook his soaked hair out of his face before pulling off his shirt and setting it out with the rest of his wet clothing. "What are you going to do with him?" He asked, stretching slightly. He moved over to the bag and knelt down next to it, his back to her. His back, chest and sides were littered with different scars. The worst was a large scar that went from his left shoulder to his right hip. He had gained it when they were younger. He had told Adara what had happened but had refused to tell the rest of his family what had happened when he received it.

"When he wakes up I'll feed him and let him dry up by the fire" She answered simply "I've been in his head, he just thought robbing me was the only way he;s get anything. I mean he does look a little gruff and sketchy"

Dyten glanced towards Adara then at the man before shaking his head slightly. He pulled his book out of the bag and moved to sit down againt the back of the cave, his emotionless mask once again in place. "Adara....get some sleep." He said, glancing towards her once more.

Adara laughed and put aside her book "right, because when he wakes up you'll give him food and make him feel like he's safe right?" she giggled, getting up and moving to sit next to him and leaned her head against his shoulder "I'm ok,Dy.I've had more sleep than you've had/ Why don't you sleep some more? I can keep watch"

Dyten looked at Adara with a raised brow. "I don't need to sleep as often." He reminded her before looking down at the book in his hands. He skimmed through the pages before finding what he was looking for. He read the passage before frowning slightly then shaking his head. He stretched his arms out, being careful of Adara before glancing towards the cave entrance.

Adara looked at the book her head still on his shoulder and read a little, but since it wasn't anything that interested her she grew bored past and fell asleep where she sat against him, the warm of his body and the gentle movement from his breathing almost lulling her asleep. Even though she always seemed happy and carefree she did have worries and concerns, and almost as much as being around her comforted her brother, she was comforted by being with him, it was just less noticeable to people

Dyten glanced towards Adara and smiled slightly. He wrapped one wing around her gently to keep her warm before glancing towards the man, wondering how hard Adara had hit him to knock the man out. He shook his head slightly before looking back down at his book and reading in silence. He would not move until either the man or Adara awoke.

Adara woke first, hearing the activity in the man's mind as he started to regain consciousness. She sat up and stretched, being careful of her brother's wing "better put that away" she said looking at his wing "you'll scare the poor man half to death" she laughed giving him a kiss on the cheek before moving to put some leftover food over to fire to heat up

Dyten folded his wings and let them disappear, flinching slightly as he shifted. His muscles protested the movement from having been in one position for so long. Once he got feeling back to his legs, he pushed himself up completely and moved over towards their clothes. He grabbed one of his shirts and made sure it was dry before slipping it on. "Did you figure out the man's name at least?"
