Dyten smiled. "Do you want me to send up one of your maids to help you? I should go check on Lilana. I left her with Sandra." He told her.
Lilana blinked and shook her head. "I kind of want to stay with Papa Dy." she stated. "But I will go where he tells me to. Momma asked him to keep me safe so what he thinks is best is what I will do."

"just wait a second for me" She said, kissing his cheek softly. She went to move to her closet but seemed hesitant to let him go, as if he'd disappear if she stopped touching him "Wait for me" she said again, knowing that she'd panic if she came out and he was gone even if she knew he was just going downstairs. Part of her still would worry she was imagining him back
Jakie laughed "I thought you'd say that" he helped her to her feet "Come look" he said, gently guiding her across the room to where an old portrait of Adara;s family was hanging, including Dyten and Adara around the age the two kids were now "That;s Dy" he said, pointing to the picture

"Alright." Dyten said. He moved over towards her dresser and found his father's chain and reached out to touch it. HE sighed softly as he picked the item up along with the Corrington signet ring he had always worn to show his connection with Adara's family. He laid them both back down and turned towards Adara when he heard her come out dressed.
Lilana moved over with Jakie and looked at the picture. "Who is the pretty girl?" She asked pointing to Adara. "They look really happy together."

"Those are yours" Adara said walking out in a simple red dress "take them" she moved over to him slowly and took his hand again, seeming relieved there was still something there to grab
Jakie smiled "that's Queen Adara.she's Dy's girlfriend" he said looking at them "they grew up together" he frowned a little "she's been really sad without him. Won't leave her room.but.."he seemed ti perk up "maybe now that he's back she'll get better.she was a really strong fighter like Dyten but she hasn't practiced in a long time"

Lilana nodded. "Adara....He told me about her. He would get real sad when he talked about her and how much he missed her. He said she was the reason he wanted to get free. To come home to her." Lilana smiled softly.
Dyten slipped the ring back onto his finger and hooked the chain of his father's pendant back around his neck, feeling relieved to have both items back. He then squeezed her hand gently before helping her down stairs. "Lilana." Dyten called as they neared.
"Papa Dy." Lilana said with a smile. She froze however when she saw Adara and curtsied. "Queen Adara." She said in greeting, judging who she was by the way Dyten was with her and the fact that the servant who brought the food in the room curtsied as soon as she saw Adara.

Adara smiled weakly "you don't need to bow Lilana " she said softly "and it's just Adara.no queen necessary" she looked over at the servant stunned to see her out of her room and smiled "thank you Rita" she looked at Lilana "i believe you were hungry? " she said,knowing the food had been brought for the girl

Lilana blushed softly as her stomach growled once more and she glanced towards Dyten. "Go eat." Dyten told her. "We aren't going anywhere. We are home now." He told her with a smile.
Lilana smiled happily as she easily moved over to eat.
Dyten looked towards the others in the room before looking up as Necros and Jerome came in. "Welcome home lad." Jerome said.
Necros nodded once which Dyten responded to, almost as though the two were having a silent conversation. Necros moved over and laid a hand on Dyten's shoulder before looking towards Adara. "Our hope and prayers are answered." He said, as Necros said softly as he had struggled to believe his grandson had really died. He then excused himself, not one for overly emotional situations but stopped and looked towards Lilana. "Bat demon?"
"Lilana, this is my grandfather, Necros. Necros my ward, Lilana." He said, introducing the two.
"You are black falcon like papa Dy." Lilana blinked as she looked towards Necros and smiled. "You don't seem scary like the stories." She finally moved over to Adara. "So you are papa Dy's Fiancee." She said, struggling with the last word. "Does that mean you two are going to be married?"

Adara and Jakie stayed silent. Adara nodded when Necros addressed her and smiled a little, focusing mostly on standing at this point. She smiled at Lilana when she came back over and nodded
Jakie ran out of the room suddenly leaning to get something
"Assuming he still wants to" Adara said softly though she knew he did. Dyten was always fiercely loyal and his feelings were not likely to ever be swayed

Lilana blinked and tilted her head slightly before looking towards Dyten before she moved back over to eat.
Sandra slipped back into the room about that time having gone off to send word to the rest of the family about Dyten's return.
"Dyten...might I suggest you and the young one get cleaned up? Though I know your dislike of the nobility, word will already be spreading about your arrival." Necros stated.
"Most likely going to have a lot of visitors wanting to welcome the general home." Jerome stated. "Ready to deal with some crowd control?" He asked, glancing towards Claret with a soft smirk.
Dyten looked towards Adara. "You shouldn't even have to consider that. You know my mind will never change." He whispered to her before looking over towards the others and nodding. "Would be best."

"Always ready to tell my fellow nobility to go away" Claret said cheerfully, sending Dyten a wink before moving to leave the room.
Adara looked at Dyten then back at the others "Jade"
Jade glanced over at her "Tell them no visitors are welcome today?" he smiled "I'll deal with it. They'll be stubborn. If they know you're out of your room this will be just as much your return as his."
Adara nodded knowing this was true
"Just one question they'll likely ask. Will you be sitting on the throne tomorrow?"
Adara looked at Jade then at Dyten, wondering if she would be strong enough for that since standing was difficult for her at this moment too
Jakie looked at Lilana and sat beside her while she ate, slipping a strawberry onto her plate from his pocket with a smile, trying to make the girl feel welcome with Dyten's favourite treat

Lilana saw the strawberry and looked towards Jakie with a sweet smile. "Thank you." She said softly.
Dyten looked towards Adara. "It is your choice but I think it would be best that you are able to do so safely and right now it is difficult for you to stand for to long." He said softly. "But I will stand by you no matter what your choice, just don't ask me to do it for you."

Adara smiled "would be funny" she said, thinking about Dyten sitting on the throne for a day and how frusterated he;d be. she looked over at Jade "One week" she said softly
Jade nodded "Sounds fair" he said before moving off to let the nobility know. Adara would take one week to regain her strength before personally returning to the throne
Jade smiled "They're Dy's favourite"

Lilana looked towards him and tilted her head. "What is your favorite?" She asked, curious to get to know Jakie a bit more since he was related to Dyten.
Dyten raised a brow. "Maybe for you. Not for the nobility." He stated.
Sandra slipped back in about then. "No offense Uncle Dy but..."
"A bath would be a good idea." Dyten said, already figuring what she was going to say. "Yes, I was thinking the same thing. This bloody shirt isn't exactly comfortable."

Dyten helped Adara to where she wanted to go before he finally went to get cleaned up. At the same time Lilana was led to get cleaned up as well, as both were still dusty and grimy from their travels. Dyten came out of the bathroom wearing a pair of black trousers resting low on his hips. He had a towel around his neck as he dried his hair but his shirt was missing. The damage done to his body during his time gone was very evident. A patch of skin on his lower back on the left side looked like a parchwork
Piece had been put in instead of his skin, and there was another spot over his heart. His back was littered with gruesome scars that showed he had been beat and whipped. Through it all though, one scar stood out the most which was the scar around the back of his neck wheee the chain from his fathers pendant had been roughly ripped from him.
