Adara smiled "I love to skate. Winter is one of my favourite times. Sadly my sister was never able to join us for winter activities" she placed her hand on Dyten's leg gently as she sat there, still not sure she liked the girl, feeling almost like the comment about their upbringing was meant to make them feel weird about it

Dyten leaned back in his seat for a moment before he finally stood and excused himself. He glanced towards Adara. 'I'll be back shortly. Something just making my hair stand on end being here right now.' He told her knowing she would hear his thoughts but could also see it in his eyes. In truth, the comment had bugged him, almost as though she was saying he was beneath those in the room, which in some ways he knew was true according to rank, though he also knew that his family saw him as equal despite that.

Adara's face didn;t waver as he left, a show for the sake of Alicia

Dyten shook his head slightly. 'It's fine. Just something not making me feel right.' He responded as he moved outside.
"Is he okay?" Stephan asked, surprised by Dyten's excusing himself and stepping out of the room.

Adara nodded and smiled "He's quite protective. sometimes, especially in strange places, he likes to do a walk around, make sure the security is up to his standards. No offense to Haven's military" she said looking at the king with a smile "Dyten just doesn;t take chances with my safety, or Torrent, Treva, and Sandra's" This was true about Dyten though the fact that he was inspecting the military was a lie
~Should i come?~ she asked, knowing that sometimes being away from the crowd helped, but she presence helped also

'No. I wouldn't want you to have to step away.' Dyten responded. 'I will be back in a moment. I promise.' Dyten was not one to break promises, to him them being a bonding agreement. True to his word, Dyten returned a short time later and resumed his seat. "Forgive my departure." He stated easily with a slight bow of his head.
"That is quite alright." Erandor responded. "Hard to loose the training of a soldier when that is what you have been trained to do. It is wonderful to see someone so dedicated." HE stated with a smile.

Adara smiled, having made sure to tell Dyten what she had told them before he was back in the room. She placed her hand over Dyten's and continued to eat her food

Dyten moved his hand to where Adara's was resting in his where he could gently squeeze her hand to let her know he was okay. He then ate in silence as the other visited.

She laced her fingers in with his as they ate, talking when a conversation arose that she could contribute to

"Hey, Dy" torrent looked at him "how was the visit to the temple?" He had been hearing whispers that something had happened

Dyten glanced towards Torrent. "It was fine." He said with a slight shrug. "Found out for sure that Adara is even more of a trouble maker then usual." He said, glancing towards Adara. Though to others it might sound like he was being serious, his family would know he was joking. "Something about being a sky goddess or something like that."

Torrent grinned and looked at his sister "what do you prefer? Your worship or your radiance?" He asked teasingly, implying that she would need to be addressed differently as a goddess
Adara have him a sweet smile "I prefer to punch you in the face" she said sweetly then she laughed "seriously none of this will change a thing. I'm me, I don't care what the title is, nothing change" she looked "main thing is Dyten is stuck teaching me to fly"

Erandor smiled slightly at hearing the way the siblings bantered and Dyten being included. He understood now what they meant by how he was not necessarily their family but then again was. It had confused him at first but seeing how easily they got along it made him understand that much more.
Treva smiled softly as she listened to the group banter.
"You could always have Papa Torrent Teach you." Sandra piped up cheerfully.
