Adara tried but was a little unsteady, used to being a passenger in the air rather than one flying. Still with Dyten's instructions and using his thoughts with her reading she was able to catch on alright, being able to fly decently by the time their training was done.
Torrent was watching them from one of the windows, feeling a small sense of satisfaction seeing his little sister struggling and not being as graceful at something that he could do well himself, always more used to Adara doing almost everything better than him
Adara looked over at the servant when they were called then back at Dyten "Ready?" she asked, knowing he hated entertaining their own nobility but hoping since they were also falcons here he might feel a little less judged and uncomfortable in their presence

Treva moved over and hugged Torrent gently while Sandra rested still, the poor child still exhausted from her ordeal.
Dyten nodded once, though was not to thrilled about having to deal with nobility, no matter what race they were. He was more at ease among military and those he considered family. Still, he knew it was likely to be a bit interesting to hear how they reacted to things, especially considering him and Adara both being oddities among the falcon race, with her being the famed sky goddess and him being a third black falcon.

"it's going to be quite the change, huh?" Adara smiled, not knowing herself exactly what she expected from falcon nobility.
Eleanor paced in her room nervously, often pausing to look at her reflection, fixing stray hairs and straightening get dress. She had already changed three times, not sure what was expected from her

Dyten nodded. "The only falcons I have been around is your family. Though the stories I have heard from your father make it seem like those here are very different from where he grew up. So I am not sure what to expect myself. We only really have to go off what we have heard in stories and what we have seen since being here." He rubbed his neck slightly, shifting slightly when a few people bowed to them as they passed.

Adara kissed his cheek softly "Don't worry. I'll protect you" she teased, knowing that in these situations he relied on how comfortable she was with such things

Dyten smirked slightly but it disappeared as they neared the castle.
The nobility were already there waiting on their arrival, visiting with Ivan and his father.
Ivan excused himself briefly to go to Eleanor's room. There he knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

Adara smiled as they approached the nobles, letting go of Dyten's arm she stepped forward and bowed her head to them in greeting
Eleanor answered the door, slowly opening it she smiled a little when she saw him "I'm sorry. Am I late?" she asked, suddenly realizing that she might have left them waiting while she was fussing over her appearance, worried about what the nobles would think of her

"Not at all." Ivan said, a smile appearing on his face as he looked at Eleanor. "Shall we head down to join the others? Adara and Dyten just arrived back from exploring I believe." He informed her, holding a hand out for her to take so that they could head down and join the others together.
Dyten bowed his head respectfully but remained silent.
"Ahh...so this is the young princess from Akrita we have heard about. It is a pleasure to meet you princess." The older man stated as he bowed. "This is my son Kristoff and his twin sister Alicia." He introduced the two children who bowed in turn.

Adara smiled "It's a true pleasure" she said softly, looking at the two "I am Adara Corrington. I apologize that my brother, the crowned prince, is not here to greet you. He will come down later, his wife and child are tired from the journey" she said softly before turning to Dyten "This is Captain Dyten Ryder. My father's ward and my boyfriend" she said looking between them with a smile
Eleanor nodded and took his hand, letting out a nervous breath

Ivan smiled and kissed the back of her hand before moving to head down with her to greet the nobility that was visiting.
The older man turned towards Dyten and bowed his head in greeting. "May I ask, sir....are you...."
"Yes." Dyten said, already figuring what the man was going to ask. "There are three." He responded.
"Then the rumors are true about Lord Necros and the sky goddess?" The old man responded. "Forgive me, I am Stephan Reignia." He stated, having forgotten to introduce himself to the two.

"apparently." adara smiled "Necros has been back for some months now. As for the other thing, that's very new"she said with a wry smile, not really wanting too much attention on that subject really since she still disliked the title of goddess"
Eleanor stepped out with him and looked at the nobles then at Ivan before stepping closer and bowing her head in greeting, catching a reassuring smile from again as she straitened back up

Stephan smiled slightly. "That is good to hear that he is well. He used to visit the outskirts here on occasion. The village I am over. He aided us many times in dealing with issues that arose when he could. Never took payment, but always had others nervous when he was around." He stated with a slight shrug. "May I ask his connection..." He paused, however when he saw Eleanor and Ivan come in. He bowed fully to Eleanor before smiling slightly. "Prince Ivan...may I ask who this young beauty is?" He asked.
"Duke Stephan, this is my fiancé Elenaor." Ivan responded. "Elanor, this is Duke Stephan Reignia." He said, introducing the two.
"A pleasure to meet you Lady Eleanor." Stephan responded. "I was just asking your friends here about their connection to Necros."
Dyten shifted slightly, not liking the man asking about his grandfather, his eyes flashing slightly as he remained silent. "Why does it matter?" He asked, his tone a bit harsher then it probably should have been.
"Forgive me. Simple curiosity. As I said, Necros helped my town many times but we knew little of him as a person." Stephan responded.

Eleanor blushed when the Duke complimented her "It's a pleasure to meet you as well" she said quietly. She glanced at Dyten when she heard his harsh words and smiled slightly. She knew Dyten well enough from their time together that she knew he was always reflexively protective of his family even when there was not a clear reason to be
Adara gently put a hand on Dyten's arm to encourage him to relax a little
"Necros is a half brother to my father" Adara said with a light smile, answering the man's question in pertaining to herself but choosing to leave it up to Dyten whether or not the man knew of Necros being his grandfather

Stephan nodded once in response. "Ahh...so the king had two black falcon children." He stated with a smile.
Dyten glanced towards Adara before looking back towards Stephan and his children, already seeing Kristoff looking towards Adara in interest. Dyten narrowed his eyes slightly as he pulled Adara slightly closer, knowing she would know the reason why. Dyten still at times felt like he wasn't good enough for Adara, but he also didn't feel anyone else was good enough for her either.

Adara leaned against Dyten easily when he pulled her closer and nodded to the Duke "I suppose he did" she agreed "it's in the blood. My brother, Torrent, who is up stairs. He's a white falcon"
