Adara nodded "We'll talk to Stefan when he gets back." she put her hand on his shoulder "We'll catch them, don't worry."

Ivan nodded as he thought about who it could possibly be, though no one in particular jumped out at him.
Dyten glanced towards Adara then at Esmond. He bowed his head slightly to the man who did the same in return.
Esmond excused himself at that point and returned to work with his twin.

Adara looked at Dyten then at Ivan "Go find Eleanor. I know you're keeping this in check but it's an emotional thing, being near her would be good for you right now" she moved over to Dyten and took his hand "Let's go relax a little"

"Thank you." Ivan said with a bow of his head before he took a deep breath and moved off to find Eleanor. When he found her he smiled a bit sadly at her. "Sorry about being away. found out some...emotional news." He said softly. He had already informed his father of the information before the investigation had started.

Eleanor was sitting in a sitting room reading a book. WHen he came in she looked up with a smile. Seeing his face she set the book aside and got to her feet, moving over to him "Are you alright?" she asked softly in concern, taking his hands in hers

"Not really." He said, being honest with her. "My best friend who I grew up with...i thought she had left 7 months ago to return home to her family. Found out she was...killed and buried here in the castle. Down in the catacombs where Adara's niece was found." He looked down. "Her mother was my mother's lady in waiting. When her mother died shortly after mine did, she was raised along side me by my father. Even though she was a maid in the castle, she was my best friend, almost like a sister to me." He looked towards Eleanor. "I wish you could have met her. She was a sweet girl, stubborn, but she would have loved the fact that I found someone like you." He said before kissing the back of her hand.

Eleanor frowned at the news and she touched his face gently "I'm so sorry" she said, not sure what she could really say. Her only real experience with death had been her mothers and her mother had died a peaceful death. "Someone murdered her?"

Ivan nodded. "Dyten and Adara are helping to figure it out, seeing as their niece was the one involved in finding the body." He looked towards her. "I am just hoping we can find who is responsible so it doesn't happen again."

Eleanor leaned up and kissed his cheek before looking him in the eye "Is there anything i can do for you?" she asked, not sure how she could help

"Just stay with me for now." He said softly. "I just....need you near right now." He held her hands in his, thankful to have her there with him at that point as he dealt with the loss of his friend.

Eleanor nodded and moved forward to embrace him, perfectly fine with just being there for him if that was what he needed

Ivan rested his forehead against her shoulder and sighed softly, closing his eyes as he relaxed with her arms around him. After a few moments she would feel the warmth and moisture of his tears as a few of them rolled down his face and landed on her as they dripped from his eyes.

At first Eleanor was confused but then realizing they were his tears she began to tear up herself and hugged him a little tighter
Adara laid back in Dyten's bed and sighed "I can't imagine what he's going through" she looked at Dyten "You know, you're my Esmerelda" she said softly "Childhood friend raised along side me. You became something more but what she was to him is what you always were to me before we became more. "

After a few moments Ivan managed to calm down. "I am sorry." He said as he reached up and dried his eyes. When he lifted his head and saw that she had teared up herself he kissed her forehead. "I am sorry. I shouldn't have done that. You shouldn't have had to bear that." Ivan brushed a tear away from her face as he spoke.
Dyten nodded once. "It is hard not to grow close to those you grow up with, especially when they are raised so equally along side. The family bond will always be there even after they move on for whatever reason." He said, as he leaned against the wall, being careful to avoid his shoulder. "With the way he talked about her, it is no surprise he is upset by the news. He controls himself better then I would in his position."

"I probably would have been blinded by grief and reacted angrily" Adara agreed. Such things weren;t generally in her nature but when it came to Dyten, even before, she would sometimes do crazy things
Eleanor shook her head "No. I want to" she said softly "I want to be the shoulder you cry on" she said touching his face "I'm going to be your wife" she said blushing a little saying that, even though she knew it was silly
