Adara moved closer to Sandra giving her hand a squeeze "It's alright. Talk to her again. Tell her you can hear her, try and make her understand. If she doesn;t quiet down you might have to talk louder and firmer. Maybe even yell. Let her know you hear her. I'm right here"
Torrent frowned not liking the look on Sandra's face but trusting Adara would stop it if it was too much

Sandra continued to try and get the spirits attention before she finally shouted, "SHUT UP!!!" That shout not only caused the spirit to stop but even threw Dyten off as he stepped back and looked towards Treva.
"She gets it from me." Treva said honestly, actually laughing softly when she heard her daughter yell shut up.
Sandra took several shaky breaths as she opened her eyes and looked towards the spirit. "We found where you are. Stop screaming." She said shakily. "We are trying to help you, but you have to stop screaming so I can understand."
"I....am sorry, little one." The spirit spoke. "I....have been so trapped in fear, anger, and pain that...."
"you couldn't stop until some startled you?" Sandra asked. Even though she was speaking aloud only Adara and Sandra would be able to hear it, Adara through Sandra's thoughts and Sandra because of her gift.
The spirit seemed to smile at this. "Yes. My name is Esmerelda." She said softly. "Please...make sure the one who did this to me doesn't walk free any longer. Please....stop him before he does it to someone else."

Adara almost burst out laughing at Sandra's outburst but she put great effort into controlling it "Esmerelda" Adara repeated hearing the name "Dy can you get Ivan. We should have waited for him to do this, he might know who she is" she said, glancing at him then back at Sandra "Tell her that's what we want to do. And then tell her who we are." Adara said softly, looking at Sandra

Sandra nodded once at Adara. "Esmerelda...this is my aunt adara. She can hear you because of her gift. We want to help you and to make sure that this doesn't happen again."
Esmerelda glanced towards Adara. "Thank you." She stated again. "But...I do know to much conversation will tire you and...judging by the way you look....I should let you rest. If you need more information I will be here and i will do my best not to scare you again."
Sandra nodded once with a soft smile. "We will do what...we can to help." She said before Esmerelda left to wonder the castle and let Sandra rest. Sandra slumped over slightly and rubbed her forehead before looking at Adara. "Did I...do good?" She asked, wanting to make sure she had done what she was supposed to.
Dyten bowed his head slightly and moved off to get Ivan. The two returned by the time Esmerelda had moved off.
"Did we find out a name?" Ivan asked.

"You were amazing. Even better than Dyten" Adara smiled, pulling Sandra into her arms "Dyten just scares people" she teased, kissing Sandra's forehead "I'm proud of you" she looked at Treva "And you yell like your Mama"
Torrent looked over at Ivan "Esmerelda" he answered, having heard Adara say it

Sandra giggled. "She wouldn't listen." She said as she hugged Adara in return before letting out a big yawn. "I sleepy again. Can I take another nap?" She asked.
"Esmerelda? Are you sure that's he name?" He asked, looking between them.
Sandra looked towards Ivan when he said that. "Positive." She responded. "Who is she?"
"She was the daughter of my mother's hand maid. My best friend." He responded. "Her mother's family is from north of here where my mother was originally from. The two had grown up together so when her and my father married, Esmerelda's mother came along to serve her as her maid. She was the only one that was allowed to do anything for my mother. When my mother died though...Esmerelda's mother did not live much longer either. She....once I was old enough to care for myself she killed herself unable to handle the grief of her friend's passing. Esmerelda stayed here as she didn't know any of her mother's family. But...seven months ago we were told that she received a letter from them asking her to come home to them. We didn't question it because she had begun talking to them. My father ensured she knew how to read and write at my request." He stated. "She was my best friend." Ivan leaned against the wall. "Who is responsible? Because i heard the same story from three different servants that they had seen her leave."
Dyten shook his head. "Judging by the size and from what I could see...only one would have been involved, two at most, but unlikely. Would have wanted it hidden and the more people involved the more chance of something slipping." He looked towards Adara. "The question remains though...why."

Torrent looked over at Sandra "Come here, Princess. You can sleep some more" he said, opening his arms for her
Adara got to her feet and motioned for Ivan to follow her out, wanting to give Sandra a chance to rest "In my room, perhaps?" she suggested, figuring it was a discussion best not held in the halls

Ivan nodded once and followed after Dyten and adara.
Sandra shifted and moved to Torrent, easily climbing up into his arms. She snuggled up against him and sighed happily as Angela made it silent again and she soon drifted off to sleep.
"If you will excuse me, I will step out and allow her to sleep. There is no worry the barrier will still be able to reach her so that she can sleep without being bothered." Angela assured them. She excused herself and slipped down to the training grounds to watch her husband.

Adara made a face when Angela expanded her barrier more since it blocked her more significantly but said nothing as they moved off. Entering her room she shut the door behind them "It's probably just one person" Adara said, looking at Ivan "that area was so precarious and cramped it would be nearly impossible for two to do it, and there would be more evidence of injuries if there were multiple involved. More than likely the one of the servants heard someone talking about seeing her leave and told you that they saw her going because they wanted you to think them to be helpful" she said sighing, running her fingers through her hair "if you can handle it we could approach the servants, in a part o the castle thats not covered by the barrier and if you could stay collected and just maybe say soething is passing about writing to her i can maybe determine if they did see anything

"Not to be rude, but if that is what you wish to do it would be best that Dyten did not accompany you. His presence may unsettle them to the point that they are not truthful or focus more on thoughts of fear or hesitancy then what you wish for them to." He stated.
Dyten glanced towards Ivan. "No rudeness. Simply stating fact. I know that I intimidate. I can look more into tracking down things once you have figured out anything if you would like. Consider that Adara's niece is involved in this due to being the one to stumble upon it...."
"You have leeway to do what you have to in order to ensure her safety, and he fact of open eyes fresh to this area, you will be able to gain more information then what any of those here could." Ivan state. "My father would agree. So long as you have full proof behind who did it and it is not simple accusations, then we will accept what is brought before the crown. But...we cannot simply go off what a sprit says. We need proof or a confession."
"Understandable." Dyten responded.

"Even in our home there is need for proof along with my mind reading as well" Adara smiled "Not always a lot, it just depends on what the crime is" her face got serious again "Ivan...I do want to warn you though. From my experience, even if one of the servants knows something i doubt they were the one who did it. With pretty serving girls it's usually a noble that is responsible when something happens. With your people it may be different but that is what I've come to expect"

Ivan nodded once. "I understand." He assured her. "As I said...fresh eyes in this situation would be beneficial as even the crown has a tendency to be biased towards those they know well." He was still in shock at hearing the news that his best friend had been killed and he had been lied to about what happened. "There is only one thing I ask. Do not take long so that we can put her to rest properly." He told her.
Dyten nodded once in response. "All we can assure is that we will do our best." He looked towards Adara. "I am going to go back and look into the area a bit more while you two talk with the servants." He told her.

"I would like to do this fast as well. Although her spirit has calmed now i still worry about Sandra." she looked at Dyten "Be careful, perhaps take someone with you. Like Armond or Esmond" she said, naming the two guards she knew well enough to trust "It's dangerous down there, don't want you to get caught in a collapse"

Ivan nodded once. "I can take you to meet some of the servants then." He stated.
"I'll take Esmond." Dyten responded, seeing as Armond's wife was present he didn't want to take him away. He bowed his head and moved down to find Esmond before the two moved to where the body was located so that Dyten could view everything better. Esmond as a few questions about things just so he knew what was going on, but aside from that he just ket light where it as needed and ensured that no one came down to bother them.

"let's try and find a spot that i can definitely hear. Angela has spread her barrier out so she can watch Armond and still cover Sandra so I'm not really able to hear thoughts in some areas of the castle" she stepped forward and put her hand on Ivan's shoulder. With all that had happened during his time in Akrita it was easy forget how close they had been "I'm very sorry for your loss" she said softly, looking at him. She could not imagine the pain of losing a friend so close to your heart, let alone discovering she had been murdered and you had been lied to
