'Home.' She told her, not answering the first part. She yawned and rubbed her eyes as she lifted her head before looking at her mother. "Go lay back down please?"
Treva smiled softly. "Alright." She said. "Excuse me." She bowed her head slightly and moved to put Sandra back to bed before rejoining the group.

"hey" Adara moved to catch up "here" she pulled her own talisman from her pocket and held it out to Sandra "you hold onto this until we get home, ok?" She smiled

"Thank you." Sandra said before they had moved out.
"Is she okay?" Ivan asked, glancing towards Adara, having heard about the little girls ability, but had not said anything to his father.
"She will be fine. She is just tired." Treva said as she came back in.

Adara shrugged "she'll be fine. She just adapting to new things"

Ivan nodded once as he breakfast was brought out.
Treva moved to sit down and glanced towards Adara. 'thank you.'

Adara smiled back at Treva and nodded before leaning back
"So you're majesty" adara looked over at the king "forgive me if this out if place to ask but Is this place as peaceful as it's name implies?" She asked. Though Akrita hadn't had any wars in years it still had its trouble with bandits and the like and she wondered if Haven has figured out a better solution for that

Erandor laughed softly. "We like to say that it does fit it's name, yes. But, honestly can you safely say any place is truly safe?" He asked, looking towards her. "We do our best to keep our kingdom safe, but even we have to deal with bandits, infighting, and issues along our boarders." He stated. "For the most part, however, I feel that the people of Haven would say that it fits its name."

"that's the thing, isn't it?" Adara smiled slightly "the people in the capital and the people along the borders could feel very differently" she said softly, commenting on what he said about the outskirts having their troubles "living conditions are better the closer you are to the center of the kingdom. Because the Royal family sees it. Even in Akrita. Everyone in the Capital knows torrents face, and mine. They know who we are. And in the surrounding towns. But the further out you go, less and less people know. Most of the people living on the border don't know what their king and queen even look like. Affairs that seems so important there barely touch them. And less what the gets done is for them. They have to deal with people from other kingdom and hardships that don't even reach our ears. Their only interaction with nobility is the local nobles, which also isn't always a good thing. The terrible thing is, the common people are what matters most. Not just because they have less, but if ask the common people chose to go against the nobility the kingdom would fall, since they out number us."
"Woah woah" Torrent held his hands up "getting really political there, sis. Kind of heavy for breakfast, don't you think?" He smiled slightly "besides, politics are my job"
Adara looked over "just because I'll never rule doesn't mean I know political issues." she smirked, then she nodded "I apologize" she said with a smile to the king "just something I was pondering last night about my own homeland."

"She is right though." Erandor stated. "The common people are the meat of the empire. They are what allow us to have a purpose." He bowed his head slightly. "It is understandable to wonder. Keeping an open mind is always a positive and gives one the ability to be open to new ideas. That is the potential for a good advisor, ruler, or leader of any kind."
Dyten stayed silent, letting them talk. He personally hated politics, even the military portion of politics. He preferred solving issues with a dual or a fight, either way things worked out. For him, fighting with a sword was natural, but fighting with words was a nuisance and a pain to him.

"I will definitely be taking advantage of that" Adara smiled "Though actually. Dyten and I were hoping to explore a little today" she looked over at Ivan "We hoped you might have a suggestion of where we might like to start, or places we should make a point of visiting"

A short time later Sandra was woken by the sprits again, hearing faint touches. "No, no, no." She whimpered. She slipped from the room and started wondering, trying to find her mother. She covered her ears trying to block out the sound of the spirits as she continue to move forward, her feet bare. She looked around nervously, not sure how she was hearing the spirit even though the talisman hung around her neck.

After a bit Torrent kissed Treva's cheek "I'll go check on her" he said softly. They had eaten and had just been talking still, but since it had been a few hours Torrent wanted to look into it and make sure that Sandra had actually fallen asleep and wasn;t just laying there awake still
