"I might be angry at Mars but even my father should know I wouldn't do anything even remotely that close. Besides, I haven't been home since I got into the fight with my father. I don't even know where Mars is and I have been with Lilah the entire time I have been here. And when I haven't been with her, I have been here where Morice can vouch for me, or at school where there are plenty who could vouch for me there." He stated as he leaned back in his seat. "What do you know of a man named Calix?" He asked. "Azalea said he seemed familiar. And I can tell there is something off about him."
"I do." Vane stated with a nod. "However, I believe that the level of care of the two is different. You may care for one but care for the other more."

“calix?“ Eros considered this for a moment “it means very handsome i know that but i don‘t think I‘ve met a calix before“ he said “why? Is he a demi?“

"Not that I know of." Zack stated. "He's some new kid at school." He stated. "Azalea said he seemed familiar, as though she had met him before. She said you may know something about him." He shook his head slightly. "No matter." He muttered softly. "I am guessing that it is not really safe for me to return home right now?" He asked, seeing as Eros had mentioned there were several who believed he had attacked Mars.
Vane looked at Lilah. "Unfortunately, you never really do until you pick one or the other." Vane stated. "I had a similar situation happen to me with the girlfriend who passed away. Before I met her, I was dating one of her friends, Bianca. Realized I cared for them both, but ended up not continuing to date Bianca. She was fine with it because she realized her feelings had grown stronger for another guy. The two girls stayed friends and I realized that I had made the choice of the one who I cared about more at the time." He stated. "But there is no clear cut choice. About the only advice I can give is, follow your heart."

She sighed "I loved Calix so much three years ago. I even imagined out future life together and the kids we'd have....When he left it soured my attitude towards men. You helped patch that, And Zack...." she shook her head "But when I see Calix, and talk to him, I forget all about how bad he made me feel those years ago when he left. He makes me think about what i do and treat people with kindness....Zack makes me feel safe, he accepts me as I am, he's even a little like me in so many ways....but i've never thought about the future or what we'll become. With Zack I'm in the now not the future..." Lilah looked at him "I don't know what to do"
"Actually now might be the perfect time, to prove you didn't do anything." she said "I'm sure your father knows it isn;t you but your issues with Mars are well known. No one else can think of a motive someone might feel they have. But if you were here, then there is no reason you should fear returning home. " he smirked "And Mars would never accuse you because then he'd have to admit he thinks that you can beat the crap out of him without using your powers"

Vane laid a hand on her shoulder gently. "Zack cares about you. I can't say on Calix, because I don't know him. one thing I do know though, at least from what I saw on the practice field earlier today. It seemed to me like he is using you to get to Zack." He stated. "When he kissed you on the cheek, he looked straight at Zack as though waiting for his reaction, hoping he would over react to what he did."
Zack nodded once. "Alright. I will let Lilah know I am returning home for a bit. " He said as he reached over and grabbed his cell phone. He called Lilah and let her know what was going on and that he was headed home for a short time to sort things out.

Lilah shook her head "He's not like that. What reason would have he have to get at Zack anyways?" she asked "Maybe he was just looking over at Zack to make sure I wasn;t going to get yelled at because of him" she sighed "I wish i could just split in two. Then i could have both. They both make me feel amazing in different ways" she glanced at her cellphone as if began to ring and picked it up, answering Zack. When they were done talking she hung up the phone "Someone attacked Mars" she said,glancing at Vane

"That's odd." Vane stated, frowning slightly.
Zack glanced at Eros and bowed his head before he disappeared. He reappeared where the rest of his family was and bowed to his father before glancing towards the others, waiting for either the first accusation or for someone to speak.

Lilah shrugged, really not caring too much about it. "Well I'm still just ask confused, but thanks for trying" she said standing up "I'll see you at school"

Lilah sighed and left not knowing what to do and drove back home. When she got there she shower she changed and went straight to bed. It was a little early, even for her, but without Zack around she figured the best this to do was sleep on the issue, and so she did

Zack spent the rest of the night and most of the morning at home, dealing with the situation of Mars being attacked, and getting the one's who believed he had done it, to think otherwise once the facts of where he and been were presented. He returned back about an hour before school started. Figuring Lilah was already at school, he simply readied himself for school and headed downstairs to grab a piece of fruit and head off to school.

Lilah was leaning against the wall by her locker when he got there, talking to Calix again who was leaning against the wall beside her. Calix noticed Zack first and nodded "Good morning, Captain"
Lilah glanced over and smiled at him "Looks who's back. How did everything go?"

"Hmm." Zack muttered, obviously distracted. "Fine." He said to Lilah. "There are still a few who do not seem to want to believe me. They may be coming to talk to you." He stated with a sigh. "And he is beat up pretty badly. I want to know who did it. Can't stand the man but he is still my brother. And when I find out who did it, he is going to pay. Father want's me to keep an eye out for anyone who know's anything about it."

"Something happen to your brother?" Calix asked
Lilah raised an eyebrow at Zack "I know you didn't do it, babe, but the concern sounds weird coming from you. You're the one who challenged your brother to a fight." she glanced at Calix "See you next period" she said knowing she could not say much more in front of him. She put her arm through Zack's and walked towards class "What were his injuries like?" she asked, curious. As far as she was concerned whoever beat up Mars could do it again.

"I know I challenged him." Zack stated. "And when he over steps his bounds and comes after me I'll take care of it then. But regardless, he is still my brother and the fight is between me and him over something that concerns the three of us, that's it. No one else." He sighed softly. He described what he had found out had happened from Mars. "i know you hate Mars for what he did, but who ever attacked him...they are a serious threat. More so then Mars." He stated. "Mars is strong, and for him to be taken down as he was has a lot of the family on edge."
