Lilah suddenly stiffened, holding onto Zack hand. Azalea didn;t need to turn around to see what caused this because she could feel it and turned herself, a smile coming to her lips "Grandfather, hello" she said, standing up and moving over to Mars so he would't move any closer to the table

Zack kept his from relaxed as he stood and turned. "Mars." He stated, not using his usual tone as he kept himself before Lilah and his brother. He knew that things could get very bad if Mars chose to react here, as this wasn't a safe zone for anyone. He looked his brother in the eyes as he waited for him to make the first move.

"relax, brother" Mars said with a cold smirk "No need, I'm not after your little slut today" he looked at Azalea, his expression becoming warm and almost gently as he touched her hair "You have been avoiding me"
Azalea smiled slightly "I'm sorry grandfather, I really haven't. I've been busy. Why don't we go to dinner tomorrow?"
Mars' eyes darted to Vane, once again cold

Vane met Mar's eyes easily and stood, no longer afraid of the man. He laid a gentle hand on Azalea's shoulder before bowing his head slightly in greeting to Mars.
Chance held onto Ava's hand to keep himself from reacting, because personally, he still wanted to beat the living daylight's out of Mars for what he had done to Ava and to his brother.
Zack narrowed his eyes at Mars. "Stay away from her, Mars." He warned his brother as he laid his hand on Lilah's chair to try and give her a bit of comfort. If it wasn't for where they were at, Zack would have sent Mars flying across the room for calling Lilah a slut. Instead the room just filled with a massive amount of static, to the point metals were sticking together. Zack was angry and it was a slight warning to Mars that he wasn't playing around with his warning like he usually would be.

"Ava" Mars said, glancing at the girl, who stood
"Father" she said respectfully, not giving a hint of how she felt about him
Mars smirked a little then glanced at Vane "If you do anything to hurt Azalea, not even Hades will be able to save you from the hell i will send you to" He looked back at her "I will see you tomorrow then"
Azalea smiled and kissed his cheek softly
"Have fun with your slut, Zack. And remember, she's of my flesh, so in the end, that makes her mine. But I will let you have your fun with her like so many other men already have" he chuckled, leaving the room

Zack clenched his fists. "Mars." He said with a slight smirk. "I look forward to our fight." He stated. "I'm gonna make you pay." He stated before he turned and sat down.
Vane bowed his head slightly in understanding before he looked at Azalea. "I am gonna pass on that dinner. Let you two enjoy your visit." He stated softly as he to sat down.
Chance narrowed his eyes at Mars but stayed silent, not showing an ounce of respect for the man.

Mars laughed and paused at Zacks words "By the way, brother. Your daughter is adorable" and with that loosely veiled threat he disappeared
Lilah had stayed silent through the whole ordeal, though she had been tense. She didn;t relax once he was gone either
Azalea smiled at Vane "You don't have to, I know how you feel about him" she glanced around at the others "I'm sorry. Maybe i shouldn't attend the dance" she said with a slight frown "My presence seems to draw him out"
"I think he's less likely to attack Lilah if you're around though" Ava pointed out

Zack's eyes darkened as did his mood. He clenched his hands tighter and one of the lights nearby busted before Zack managed to calm himself down a bit. "It's fine Azalea. I started this one." HE muttered softly.

Zack shook his head. "I told you, my father won't let him mess with Astral. That is one blessing I do have. Mars can threaten all he wants but he won't touch her or you." he looked towards Lilah.

“he‘s not just going to roll over and let you have her“ Ava pointed out. “and he might not be able to hurt Astral directly but he could always make something else happens that hurts her. It‘s a loop hole i always exploited

Zack glanced towards Ava. "I know." He stated softly. Once everyone had finished Zack stood. "Thank you for dinner." He told Ava and Chance.
Vane nodded once in agreement. "Thanks."

Ava nodded "It was somewhat dramatic" she said, smirking "We'll have to do it again sometime. though next time Zack's paying. He has more money than the rest of us"
Lilah stood up with Zack, quiet once more

"I would have gladly payed this time." He told Ava, though since she had already paid it didn't make much difference. He walked with Lilah out towards the car, hoping that things would settle down for a bit and she would return to her normal sassy self. He did not like seeing her upset, but knew it was most likely because of Mars.
Vane helped Azalea up and glanced towards Chance. "See you both later." He told them before he walked with Azalea out to their own ride.

"I know" Ava said smiling "But today was my turn"
When the others left she turned to Chance "So, lover, what do you want to do now?"
Lilah walked quietly out to the car with him , leaning against him "I really hate how Mars can do that. Make me so scared" she gritted her teeth
Azalea smiled and thanked the other two as well before walking with Vane. She glanced at him while they walked "sorry about my grandfather" she said
