"Doesn't bother me" Ava said cheerfully "as I see it in this relationship I'm the sugar daddy and Chance is my trophy wife that I love to spoil"
Lilah laughed at this "How do you feel about being a trophy wife Chance?" she asked

"Never thought I would be referred to that way." Chance said, laughing. "But I can handle it for now." He glanced towards Ava with a smile. "I am just hoping that things will change where she isn't the only one taking care of everything."

Ava smiled and kissed his cheek "Honestly" she said looking at Lilah "I'm surprised dad is still giving me money but i guess since he has yet to ask me to do something i haven;t actually yet disobeyed him"
Lilah nodded "I just hope Azalea doesn't let him come to school anymore" she said simply, referring to the few times that Mars would come by to see Azalea
"I am sorry" Azalea said softly "but i can;t actually stop him"

Zack nodded. "Unfortunately she is right." Zack stated. "However, as far as I know, he cannot do anything on the school grounds. It is supposed to be considered a safe zone for demi's." He stated, not using the full term because of their location.

"You aren't a demi" Ava pointed out looking at Zack "And from what I've heard, Lilah isn;t either. Not really" she glanced at Lilah "Even Vane and Chance aren't technically since they're 3/4. But as soon as one can change, human blood or not, they are no longer considered Demi. Fortunately though, Mars doesn't know that." she looked at Zack "You know as well as i do, if not better, that if the others knew that Lilah was enough that she could change they would consider her one of them"
"Would they?" Lilah asked, surprised. She looked over at Zack
"They would" Azalea said softly "and then they would offer you absolutely no protection again Mars. Because you'd be considered his equal"

Zack nodded once. "that is why it is important for none of them to know." He stated, looking towards Lilah. "I'm already going against the rules with challenging my brother. Techincally I shouldn't be allowed to do anything. But as long as my father doesn't know things are okay." He glanced towards Ava and the others.
"My lips are sealed." Vane stated. "I already have enough problems with Mars. He's come close to killing me once. Not going to let it happen to Lilah."

"I don't think that's fully true though Zack." Azalea said "Although the gods don't typically step in to protect other gods you are allowed to protect the people you love. Despite their issues your father would not, for instance, another god hurt or kill your mother. And it is, in fact against the rules for them to force themselves on each other as well" she said

Zack nodded before looking towards Ava. "That is right." He stated. He smirked slightly. "Which means things can play two ways. The others could find out and choose to step in or stay out of it." He stated. "Or not find out and we just deal with it when the time comes." He shook his head. "But the point is, it's not happening yet." He glanced towards Lilah. "And for now, you are safe."

"Why are we even talking about this?" Lilah asked
"Because Zack mentioned how the school is safe ground for demis" Ava answered
"Well let's get back onto a less uncomfortable subject" Lilah said looking at her menu again
"We could always go back and dissect Vane and Azalea's relationship" Ava said, glancing at the two

Vane's head dropped slightly and he sighed. When he looked back towards Ava he smirked. "Or we could find something else to discuss instead of you embarassing my girlfriend the entire meal." He stated.

"Alright" she looked at Lilah "So tell me Lil. How old were you when you lost the big V and who did you lose it to?" she asked with a grin
Lilah glanced at her for a second quietly then looked at Azalea "So are you just opposed to sex before marriage or have you just not tried it yet?" she asked, changing the subject much to everyone's surprised, since she usually was not one to avoid talking about such things

Vane glanced towards Lilah, a bit surprised by her changing the subject, especially in reguards to Azalea. He knew that Lilah didn't like Azalea, but the look on his face was one of thanks even though it was not a huge change in subject.

Azalea nodded "Did you just try with anyone?" she asked Ava
"Well no" Ava said. "Like most humans, at least...most girls, have their first time with someone they think they love, or at least care about or are dating. My first time was with my first boyfriend, who i cared a lot about" she said, referring to the boyfriend she had been forced to kill by her father

Chance glanced towards Ava, knowing that subject was a sore one and was how the situation with the two of them started. He remember her trying to leave because she had feared the same thing happening to him. He laid a hand on her leg gently as he listened in silence.
