Black clad boots moved easily along the rooftops. Finally, they stopped. As one looked higher, they would see a black jacket surrounding black leather pants, a black leather tank top, pail smooth skin, up to the pail, face and cold silver eyes of a beautiful woman. Rosy red lips parted slightly as though tasting the air around her. A soft wind blew through, blowing back the jet black, chin length hair from her face. Silver eyes darted around the town, taking in the sight's, ear's open taking in the sounds.
She was, by far, a very mysterious person. She slowly moved along the roof tops once more before moving to sit on a street lamp. As those that walked by looked up to see her, they ran, hoping that she was not someone sent to kill them. As she watched them run in terror, a simple smile came to her lips, revealing her pearly white teeth, almost to white for a normal human. In truth, Silver was not a human. She was a vampire of six centuries. She had seen much in her life, but remembered only about the last two centuries of it. The first four centuries of her life was a blank to her. She had traveled far and wide trying to figure it out but had yet to succeed. So here she was, in this large town, trying to learn more, and make a bit of money on the side.
She remained where she was, sitting on the lamp post, the smile fading to once again be concealed by her emotionless mask, watching the humans run about in terror.
Finally she made her way back to the roof tops and into the shadow's once more. Oh how she loved to cause terror among those that shunned her so often. She hated her life. Hated what she was so profusely. If it were possible to see scars, one would have seen countless scar's along her beautifully pail skin, where she had tried to take her own life as she had seen many humans do. Still she stood there, suffering the endless life known to most of her kind.
She knew that she would most likely be in trouble with the head of the coven that, as it were, controlled this town, but she did not care. One might almost think she did this just to have one of them take her life so she could end this misery. But all was for naught. Because at most they would think her nut's and send her on her way. She only hoped that the master of this coven was different.
She moved to sit on one of the chimney's, watching as each human returned to their normal routine. "You pathetic creatures. Unaware of the danger that lurks around each corner. So care free in life, worried about pointless thing's like your job's and such." Her voice was smooth as silk, but filled with hatred at how care free humans seemed to be in life.
"If only you knew what true pain was." A delicate sigh left her lips as she spoke. Suddenly, she lifted her head and looked towards one of the alleys. She watched the alleyway, sensing another. She could almost immediately tell that this one was not human, and was headed her direction. A smirk came to her lips, before it disappeared as quickly as it came. She spoke not a word, nor did she move. She simply waited for this person, or creature to show itself to her eyes. She waited patiently, more so then she had in years
